the first Adobe elements corrupts the WMV files

Running Windows 7.

When you import WMV files into Adobe first Elements 4.0, half top of the image is black.

Adobe is reported as a problem with Windows XP and suggests to remove some updates.

But whence this permission Windows 7 users?  Adobe is silent on this issue.

Adobe has a KB on this issue on Windows 7 and Windows XP.

After you apply the improvement kb2834904 kb2803821 Windows 7 or XP, WMV files imported into Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Elements, or After Effects look damaged on the screen. For example, they appear as a video half frame on import.
Similarly, videos exported out of these products as WMV files appear corrupt.
That covers it.

  • Windows DVD Maker do not accept the wmv files error file is not supported.

    Hello

I just downloaded a video on YouTube using the 'FreeYouTubeDownload' of DVDVideosoft software.  He managed to create a file wmv to me.  I know it works because when I click on the video file and click on 'play', Windows Media Player automatically opens and plays the video.  So far so good.

I want to burn the file on a DVD.  When I open Windows DVD Maker, click on 'Add items' and click on the video file wmv, I get an error message saying that the file is not supported.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium. This is my first time using DVD creation.  I checked the DVD Maker for filters, but there aren't any.  What gives?  WMV files are supposed to be supported by DVD Maker, Yes?  My DVD authoring program is defective?  Or is the file that the program created YouTubeDownloader defective?  I think not, because Windows Media Player does not play the video.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Following up on my own question.  Further investigation revealed that from other sources wmv files were working with DVD Maker.  Therefore, the wmv files, created by the freeware program that I used that were not compatible.  I then used the freeware program to create files avi instead, and they were working with DVD Maker.  I did my DVD and all is well.

  • Once uninstalled, Dell my first Adobe Elements 9 I can't reinstall it or any other Adobe

I recently came across a problem with my Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 and in the context of trying to reinstall the missing file MSVCRT.dll they uninstalled my first Adobe Elements 9. Now I can't reinstall it. I get an unable to reach the message of Windows installation Service AND a message that says that it cannot install a file MSXML.dll I have tried everything I know, they tried everything they know, trying to tell me that I have to do a complete reinstallation of my system. Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit on an Inspiron 2320. I have two CD separate program for Adobe Elements programs, and they are all two independent disks. Or we're going to install the program, they both get the same error. I had the program on a backup hard drive, I copied it and I can get the Basic program to work using the .exe file, but I can't get the items of addition that are at the origin of a 2nd disk to install, no matter what I do. Apparently, I can not install any other Adobe thing either. AIR is not installed, Adobe Premiere elements 11 trial will not be installed. Besides, I don't think that the Adobe installer is installation. Reference Dell rpet talk to Adobe. HA! If anyone can understand what's not this kind of things adobe will not install let me know. Or where I can get this MSCML.dll file? How to get into the computer? I already had to make 4 reinstall full on this computer since I bought it in June and I'm not looking forward to having to do it again. Also, when I try to install it, it install the entire program, then comes to the end, gives me the error message (and you can find the files in the program folder files) but when you click OK or cancel the cannot install MSXML file message, then it automatically uninstalls all installed and there he seems to have no way to stop it.

Well, what managed Dell technology that, has no idea. They have ruined your Windows Installer on a systemic level. Try to download the stand-alone Microsoft Installer package from the MS web site or let Windows Update update of Internet Explorer for example. If this does not work, I don't mind to reinstall Windows from scratch would fix things...

  • Windows media player plays is not the wmv files

I installed a new version of AMD Catalyst Software Suite V 12.2.00 08/03/11 and immediately pinned the problem of not being able to run the MWV Media Player files.  The media player will turn green and the audio works well.  I guess that my old (2008) Dell Studio 540 Intel Core Quad 2.66 Hz machine is too slow for all graphical applications included in the CCC again.  I uninstalled the entire update and installed the driver more AMD V 8.950.0.0.  Rebooted and tried to execute a file on Media Player WMV.  The same problem.  I went back to a restore point, until the day before the installation of the new version of the Suite software Catalyst.  Then I rolled back to the previous driver V 8.920.0.0.  Does not solve the problem.

I finally ended up at this place where someone posted the same problem.  I went if the three methods that have been listed.
Method 1: Go to the Play-year-audio or video file FAQ
    Result: Nothing useful there.

Method 2: Re-save the file and check, it is that it works.
    Result: Panel received
    DllRegisterServer in successful wmvdecod.dll OK

Method 3: Change screen Resolution.  My procedure was different from that used by anyone trying to help the first user.  I'm running Windows Vista 64 - bit SP2.  I had to go through the display settings, advanced settings.  Click on change settings and I received the message: your current display driver does not allow changes need to be made to hardware acceleration settings.  I then clicked on the Troubleshooting tab and received the following panel;  Catalyst Control Center cannot be started.  Currently, there are no settings that can be configured using Catalyst Control Center.     No big surprise that I had uninstalled the CCC.  Should I reinstall again?

Having listed all the codecs on my machine, I have no idea what to do with them.  The only one that seems to apply is WMVideo Decoder DMO.

    My profile is:

  • 1920 x 1080 Fiasco in first Adobe Elements 9

Hi all, I scoured the forums for an answer, and to this day, no luck. My problem is the following. I have a Full HD camera and here are the properties of the video, I'm trying to make:

    Video
    Length 13:27
Width of the frame of 1920
    The 1080 frame height
    Data rate 17003 Kbps
    Total Bitrate kbps 17132
    Frame Rate 59/second

    Audio
    Throughput of 128 Kbps
    Stereo channels 20
    Sampling rate audio 48 kHz

I just finished editing the video file in Adobe first Elements 9 and I'm hung up on the record. I tried to make 5 different ways with awful results. The video is available for download on the web, Youtube actually and I made every sense I see, but video quality playback has horizontal bars which have delays. I have a 64-bit computer, and every type of imaginable media viewer, so I know that it isn't just a slow computer causing weird reading. If it's important, the raw .mp4 file also plays perfectly through all media players with no problems. It is only after I try to replay the saved (and edited version) I get these weird bars.

I don't want to lose the HD quality but I can not have a 4.5gig as file, the download limit is 2 gig.

Is there a way anyone has found to 1920 x 1080 with the above parameters for easy loading, without sacrificing the Full HD quality?

THANK you very MUCH, I'm about to bang my head through the screen!

    Rachael

As I said, do not try to feed the intelaced YouTube stuff.

HD interlacing is for Blue Ray and regular TVs and TV transmission

HD Progressive is for computers and end salvation TVs because it requires bandwidth higher than they can cope.

YouTube is almost always seen only on computers while they are waiting for progressive.

I've never seen an interlaced FLV that has not had a problem with the movement.

If your original video is shot in interlaced and then convert it into progressive (if you can) and see what plays OK in WIndows Media Player first without bars. Then download it.

There is also something about setting up "who the field first", but I don't remember what it was!

Some computer video (portable slow particuarly) cards can make their purchases this intertwining bar stuff on 1920HD in any case on AVI.

What you see on the preview of EP is a resolution reduced about one-fifth of the pixels of the final product because it leaves more processing power to display thumbnails and timeline moving. It seems just as strong because only because it is a fifth the size!

If you have 'Gaussian blur' probablty is because you are trying to reduce bad original HD in a lower pixel when you should have fired the progressive original footage and the lower resolution in the first place.

Ironically, turned on a camera cheap 780p may look better on Youtube as an expensive one 1900x1080i

  • First Adobe elements 12 - export ready the chronology of the project, the AVCHD files in a separate folder for burning on Blu Ray disc with other software?

Hi, can anyone help please.  This is the first time I've used this forum.

I use the first 12 items, a PC, 64-bit, Windows 7, to high power.

Just started to hack AVCHD in this software.

I would like to know if it is possible to export topped with AVCHD files in a folder somewhere else (which were imported in the project calendar), so that I can burn AVCHD trimmed (not in the form of a 'project') of Blu Ray disc files (using another software that I know that works to burn video files to Blu Ray disc).

    Kathy

There is no export of Premiere Elements (any version) which will give you a file extensions .m2ts or. MTS. .M2ts and .mts are extensions of file that represents the container format that envelope the AVCHD video, and any audio compression file has.

The .mp4 should serve your purpose... destiny using the file to burn it to Blu - ray disc format on say Blu - ray, copy the disc Blu - ray and edition BDMV folder video file in the file/STREAM BDMV folder (which is a .m2ts file).

But what we could try (think it will work) to work around the problem

    1. export your Timeline with the publication + share/computer/AVCHD with presets = MP4 H.264 1920 x 1080 p 25.

    2. to the hard disk of the export of this mp4 saving location, then simply rename the mp4 to MTS or m2ts file extension.

If you send this file to burn it to the disc Blu - ray to Blu - ray disc format, double check that this person software supports import of .m2ts and. MTS.

Is the recipient of this emphasis on mts or m2ts file?

Please read and review, maybe try it like a mini series of tests.  Feel free to ask if you have any questions about the foregoing.

  • Cannot open the WMV files.

Just bought a new computer and when I try to download a file WMV, Internet Security explore comes up and asks me if I want to allow, click on allow and I get the message: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  May not permissions to access you the item.

When I click Details I get this message: name... Pack\MediaPlayerClassic\mpc-HC.exesource-MPC.HC@SourceForge

I found a download for Media player classic, but when I tried to download my antivirus (Kaspersky) came with a warning that the file was not signed and that it was a potentially dangerous download if I did not.

Would appreciate any help I could get on it.

    Hi ramrod711,

Welcome to the Microsoft community newsgroups

Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  May not permissions to access you the item.

The question stem also from your security program such Kaspersky or a /Defender of Windows Firewall which can have parameters as to not not to perform certain tasks and does not download the file. I suggest you temporary disable antivirus and firewall and check the result again. You must activate new security that you was disabled programs.

Important note: Ensure that the download comes from a reliable source and then disable the security software or allow the file to download.
