importing data into RecordStore

Sorry for a probable newbie question, but I want to create an application with a pre-filled database and I was wondering if I should include a CSV with my app, and then create a new store by analyzing these data.

Also, I can then remove the CSVfile to save space?

My database is large (almost 500 k) and I need to be able to do research of SQL - ish on this.

What I understand, there is no way to group the data with a recordstore.

Compile a file of different cod with csv inside (different project in JDE) file.

This will be a different cod file (container).

For example allows this name will be: container.cod

In your main application try to open the file of containier.cod through the following url string:

Cod: / /container/myfile.csv

MyFile.csv - is the file name of your csv file, which is included in the container.cod file

It is not documented approach, but it should work.

When the file is loaded and processes you can remove file container.cod of the device programmatically.

  • Importing data into tables to grant access (developer sql 3.2)

    Hello
    I want to import data into a table PAY_BALANCE_BATCH_LINES which is an array of interface. I am connected to a schema (APPS) and this table belongs to the HR schema. However, if you look at the grants, the APPS schema has all access to this particular table. A TOAD, this used to work great.
    But in sqldeveloper, when I filter drop-down list of tables, I'm not able to find the table. Since it is my main means of downloading data I don't know how I can get access to download data in this table. I do not know the password for the schema HR incidentally.
    Is there a way out?
    Thank you very much

    Scroll to the bottom of the tree to the 'Other users' node, expand it, and then descend into HR > Tables. Then do your import.

    To another browser, right-click on your connection in the tree and open a browser schema.

    If your storage source and destination areas are different, you must use the remap_tablespace option.
    example:

    System $impdp / * directory = data_pump_dir dumpfile = logfile = schema_refresh.log remap_schema = Prd_schema:Tst_schema remap_tablespace = prd_TBS:tst:TBS schema_refresh.dmp

  • Importing data into Tables - by using the Import Wizard - Null values

    Hi all

    I would like to use the data import wizard to import data into existing intermediate tables, that are already filled with data.

    However, when you import my CSV file, while the import completes without error, all of the empty cells are filled with (null)"- is anyway to prevent this?

    For example, ColumnA contains data for lines 1-11 and 12-14 15-30 but row are empty, when you download the wizard of column rows 12-14 are wired populated "(null)". I would like to prevent this

    Thanks a lot for your help

    ROss

    Yes, it shows a (null), but there is nothing there.
    If you go to sqlplus and do a query on the table, it shows a white.

    If you want to get rid of the (null), then go to Tools - Preferences - Database - Advanced - display Null value like: remove the (null)
    You can even display a different background color when it is null if you wish.

  • Importing data into Oracle Apex

    Hello

    I have an obligation to provide a screen to the user where they can import excel data to an existing table and I saw a feature in the workshop of data in Oracle Apex, but I can't use that since I have extra things added into that must. The requirment is mentioned below,

    (1) need a screen where the user can select the excel file and start the import of a temporary table without validation
    (2) the data from the temporary table must be visible to the format of form Multi line in the screen and the user must be able to modify the data
    (3) the need for a feature or a screen mapping where the user can map the temporary table to the original table column before you pass data to the original (as data) table
    (4) the data should be transferred in the original table and the respective data should be deleted from the temporary table (in case if an error occurs, error record must appear in a temporary table up to less than the user of the corrected data into the original table)
    (5) need to add different types of validation, update the record in the original record if same id is available or insert a record value, non-zero, etc...

    Please suggest me how can I do this in the Apex.

    Is it possible to use the existing data and design workshop robot code in my new screen?

    You will probably have to code this yourself... There are packages that have been written to import Excel and CSV style...

  • Importing data into a custom using API object in bulk

    Hello

    I try to import data in Eloqua.

    The data are so simple that a list of email addresses - I just want to be able to place them in a specific ORDER so that I can reference this when selecting my contacts.

    I could create the object custom Eloqua.com without problems.

    I could define an import against the custom using the API object in bulk (v2.0) once again without problems.

    I was able to synchronize these data so that it appears in documents in the object custom without problems.

    The problem is with mapping - this is not the case.

    When I create the custom object, I choose 'add the contact fields' then 'e-mail address '. I tried the field configuration in the field display name, unique code, e-mail address, domain group. I have ensured that "Default Entity Mapping used in upload" indicates the type of entity such as contacts and the field of the entity as a "'email '.

    In 'Map of the fields', under the heading contact I am not available "" e-mail address"option, then the field says"(none) ". What is the problem? I thought it might be, but tried to create a custom object where the field was a customer id (which is also held against contact) and despite matching that in the menu 'mapping', it still doesn't have the card.

    When I set the import, I base it on the field that appears in the API

    In this case:

    {u 'hasNotNullConstraint': u 'internalName False': u 'Email_Address1', u 'name': 'u' Email address, u 'dataType': ' u 'emailAddress, u' hasReadOnlyConstraint ": False, u 'uri': u ' / customObjects, 265, fields, 916 ', u' statement': u'{{Objetpersonnalise [265].}}" "} {Field [916]}} ", u" hasUniquenessConstraint ": True}

    So my export definition looks like:

    {'name': 'Test', 'fields': {'Email_Address1': ' {{Objetpersonnalise [265].}} "}} Field[916]}}"},"identifierFieldName":"Email_Address1","isSyncTriggeredOnImport":false,"dataRetentionDuration":"P7D","isUpdatingMultipleMatchedRecords":true,"uri":"/customObjects/265/imports/17","createdBy":"Stephen.Waters","createdAt":"2015-04-28T17:52:18.8247543Z","updatedBy":"Stephen.Waters","updatedAt":"2015-04-28T17:52:18.8247543Z"}

    I said "isUpdatingMultipleMatchedRecords": true in the hope that this could help, but it didn't.

    According to some old posts here, I had been concerned that the e-mail address field should look more at {{Objetpersonnalise [265].}} Contact.Field (C_EmailAddress)}} - so far I found no way to be customized to create a field that corresponds to that, they always follow the format {{Objetpersonnalise [#]. Field [#]}}.

    The synchronization works, but under Setup: integration: entrants: all source data: System: in bulk api if I look at the 'source download history', it says the following under parameters:

    Set of dataTest
    State of the downloaded data cardsRegistered
    Overwrite the status of existing data cardsNO.
    Data map ReadOnlyNO.
    Map data cardsNO.

    How can I make this field "map data cards" say 'yes '?

    Everything works very well & cards with a download of the manual the data card (where I can specify to map the maps on the last page)... it's just I make tons of them and need a more automated solution.

    Any advice appreciated, thanks

    Stephen

    Definition, but it adds in addition to {{Objetpersonnalise [265].}} Field [916]}}.  When you create the record fill in the two fields: 1 is a field in the custom object that you created, the other is used to map to a contact.

  • Problem with export data from an application and importing data into another application

    Hello

    I need to give a stream to an application (target) of one of the other application (source) of data. So what I did is I exported the data necessary for the application target using the DATAEXPORT function in text files and you now want to import data in text files in the application of the source using rules files.

    I'm trying to create files for each exported text file separate compilation, but I'm not able to do this successfully.
    I traced all members of the source to the target application, but still there is something wrong is going on is to not let the successful import or do not allow that data to go to the right places.

    There all the specifications, while using this function DATAEXPORT as format or the kind of DATAEXPORTOPTIONS that I use to make it work?

    Here is the first part of my script to calc. For all other data I wanted to export that I wrote similar statements by simply setting on individual members.

    SET DATAEXPORTOPTIONS
    {
    DATAEXPORTLEVEL ALL;
    DATAEXPORTCOLFORMAT ON;
    DATAEXPORTOVERWRITEFILE ON;
    };

    DIFFICULTY ("ST", "BV", "SSV", "ASV", "ESV", "W", "HSP_InputValue", "SÜSS", "TBSD", "ABU", "AC", "LB", "LT", "VAP", "Real", "FY11", @REMOVE (@LEVMBRS (period, 0), @LIST (BegBalance)));
    DATAEXPORT 'File' ',' '...\export Files\D3.txt ';
    ENDFIX;

    Please let me know your opinion on this. I really need help with that.
    ~ Hervé

    So, you have 12 periods through the columns of the export data?

    If so, you must assign each column of data at a time. The data column property is used only when you have completely defined the dimensions either through other fields or other areas and the header and the left point only possible is data. This does not work when you have several columns of data that you find, just so assign the right period; doing this means there is no column of data .

    See the link, hope it will work.

    It is an old method, using the utl_file_dir parameter that is now obsolete and which is frankly a waste of space when external tables can do exactly the same thing much more easily.

    Deanna,

    Question, I don't understand why you're selecting in import_legacy_pursuit and insertion in the same table?

    It would be wonderful if you can display the structure of the table and 1 or 2 fictitious example of records.

     cursor cr is
      SELECT *
          FROM import_legacy_pursuit;
      ...
      ...

     INSERT INTO import_legacy_pursuit
               (
                   case_number,
                   officer_lname,
                    ....
                    ..
    ) values (.....
    ...);

    In any case, I made some changes to the procedure, you must replace the Insert with your statement and post if it worked for you.

  • How to import Date into the text data file TDR box?

    I have a report template that I use frequently for data tracing files. At the top of the TOR, I have a main title text box that says "Daily Operation" usually followed by the date (entered manually) of this file.

    Q: How do I import/reference the value of the date of the file (photo #1 - black outline) in the text box (photo #2) I use to Date? I appreciate all help.

    Hi man of laboratory.

    Looks like you will need to use the RTT (-real time), which transforms the tiara time real number (fractions of a second from 0 AD) in a date/time string.  There is also a TTR function that goes the other way.

    @@RTT (ChD (1, "[1] / Date"), "" mm/dd/yyyy # hh:nn:ss.fff "') @.

    Hello

    Not possible, if you use utility imp to import the dump.

  • Import data from multiple page form

    I bought acrobat X Pro.

    I would like to import data into a php program in a

    Acrobat form and have a new page generated for each

    set of data. What is the best way to do it?

    Thanks JZ

    There are actually several ways to achieve this.

    How logical and simple IMHO is to define repetitive page of the document as a template and then climb a TOT who does not handle models (section 12.7.7.3.3 in the version of the reference PDF as part of the documentation for the SDK software Acrobat 10). Then you feed than FDF in Acrobat, and it should create a document according to.

    An alternative would be to use XFA (which is probably suggested by the propaganda of Adobe). This approach may work well enough.

    And (type of full), for larger volumes of these forms, you can watch applications side third-party server that would merge form data and basic server-side.

    I hope this can help.

  • Import text data into text with script level file fields

    I use Adobe 9 professional and have a level of javascript file import text into the existing fields of a pdf document.

    There are several fields with multiple lines of data to import.

    The folder level script does not work (but there is no error in the console showing when operating)

    I manually tested the file opening text with the following code in the console and the text file opens and fills text fields, so the text file must be correct:

    this.importTextData ();

    The following code is the folder level script that does not work:

    function mailmergeFunction()

    {

    Import the first line of data of "Mailmerge.txt".

    this.importTextData ("of/h/mailing/Jo Smith Things / Mailmerge.txt", 0)

    If (typeof cnt == 'undefined') cnt = 0;
    this.importTextData ("of/h/mailing/Jo Smith Things / Mailmerge.txt", cnt ++ % 4)

    }

    app.trustedFunction (mailmergeFunction);

    app.addToolButton ({cName: "Mailing", cExec: "mailmergeFunction ()", cTooltext: "Mailing", cEnable: true, NPO: 14});

    If anyone can please provide assistance, it will be more appreciated thanks.

    Try using an app.beginPriv () just before the importTextData statement and a statement of app.endPriv () afterwards. Don't forget to restart Acrobat after you change the JavaScript file.

  • Import Excel data into Form Designer

    I developed a dynamic form in Livecycle designer that will be sent to hundreds of schools throughout Nebraska.  There is a table in this form that has buttons to add or remove a line while dependent students informtion can be entered in this table. How I shape now works perfect for most schools, however; with the largest schools that will enter in over 200 different lines of information, it will be a long unessarily task.  Most of these schools already have the information that we solicit in an Excel file.  Is it possible for an end user of this form, using the adobe reader software to import excel data into the table?

    -Susann Wenzel

    It is possible, but you will find may be more difficult than what it's worth.

    1. you must manipulate the worksheet to make it look like a DB

    2. you must set up an ODBC connection on the system running the form and the worksheet...

    3. you would have to change to point to the worksheet from the definition

    4. you wish Reader the form using LiveCYcle Reader Extensions to allow the ODBC connection occurs in the drive.
