Impossible to click on "Adobe Flash Player settings"

Whenever the next window appears, regardless of the browser that I use, I click click and click and nothing happens:

However, when I try to install a screen saver I just received:

Something's definitely wrong with Flash on my PC. I've installed, uninstalled, re-installed, re-uninstalled several times, restarting and all that. Same old same old. Windows 7 64 and other things. Some need a hand here.

Hi Shonendo,

Have you followed the news in my Post #8 for you? If none of that solved the problem, so I think what I would do is to return to the global settings and make sure all the settings are as you wish. You can also enter in this Web site in an area of "trust".

Not sure if it's the exact wording, but the effect is the same.

Make sure that you click on a setting to NOT allow the setting you want now. The global settings are not easy to select. To do a lot of reading and the individual parameters to work with others. Some may even cancel others.

Other than that, you can contact the site and maybe they would have information on their end.

That's all I'd be able to offer.

Thank you and I hope you get it fixed.

  • Adobe Flash Player settings storage Local Mafia Wars Facebook popup.

I play Mafia Wars on Facebook. I'm using Firefox 3.6.8 and Mac OS 10.6.5, Flash Player 10.1. Some time ago I received a popup called Zynga settings Adobe Flash Player Local Storage asking permission to store information on my hard drive and give me the option to allow or deny the request. However, the popup is blocked; This popup will not go away.

I contacted Zynga, followed their instructions and uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player. all with no success. When I play this game on other computers, including the PC, this popup isn't here which brings me to the conclusion that the file is on my Mac hard drive somewhere and has nothing to do with the game itself. Please tell me how to find this file so that I can remove it. It spoils my enjoyment of the game, because it limits what I can do in the game.

    Thank you charge.

  • What does the message "settings on this page are not applicable to the Chrome or chrome based browsers (PPAPI)." mean, and that's the reason why I can't play games on Adobe Flash Player?

I'm playing the crazy Kingdom of God on Adobe Flash Player but the "settings on this page are not applicable to the Chrome or chrome based browsers (PPAPI)." message when I go to global settings to try to resolve the problem. This has something to do with my problem for the Kingdom of the mad God does not?

    Hi Jess.C.N,

Chrome uses the PPAPI plugin and the settings are managed using the online settings manager, not the local settings manager.  Click the 'Learn more about Configuration of Flash Player with Chromium-based browsers' to learn how to manage these settings for the plugin PPAPI browsers.  You can also go to Adobe - Flash Player: settings - Global Privacy Settings Panel Manager to manage the settings of PPAPI according to the browsers.

  • No Adobe Flash Player.pkg click on in my download.

I could not install the latest version of Flashplayer. Troubleshooting instructions say to uninstall the existing version of Flash Player; did. The installation program still didn't work. I tried to download the package four times. None of them worked. Troubleshooting instructions told me to open the installation program, right-click on the icon of Adobe Flash Player, select "Show package contents", go to "Resources", then double-click the Adobe Flash Player.pkg.

There is no Adobe Flash Player.pkg in the resources folder, or another folder. There are only three things in the resources folder: app.bundle, app.icns and en.lproj folder (with only two things at that).

I deleted all the downloads. then downloaded a new Adobe installer again. Same results.

No other programs are open when I do that. I have everything close before you start the installation process.

In each case, the Installer opens and the progress bar will start but never past the 7% mark, how a timeout occurs, and my browser re - opens an investigation from Adobe asking me to rate my experience, asking if I could accomplish what I was trying to do.

    You can imagine my answer.

Whenever there is an update of Adobe's Flash Player, it never works. There is always, always trouble some.

    I'm on a Mac running OS X version 10.7.5.

I use as my browser Safari version 6.0.3.

I am trying to install Flash Player version 11.7.700.169

Thanks for any help that you could give me!
