Impossible to format hd on D600 series laptop
I tried to reinstall windows on my laptop, I've deleted the patition and created a new, after trying to format the hd, I get a message saying windows cannot format the hd, there might be something wrong woth the disc. The hd has just been replaced not long also.

It of very strange that you re possible to see the plugin SD card. Some people suggested that this SD card supports only 256MB, 512 MB cards and more with no MMC support.
I put t know if you have a format utility Toshiba SD card installed on the laptop, but on many notebooks of utility such Tosh is preinstalled and could be used for formatting of the card.
According to some poster in this forum the Portege M400 utility format could handle 2 GB, but not sure about 4 GB SD cards.
If possible, you can try to install this utility on your laptop, but you know you don't have much chance that it works.I think that in this case only an external SD card reader will help you.

Impossible to format my Sandisk Ultra Plus 16 GB MicroSD
Hi, I bought this product about an hour ago from Bestbuy. It was sealed in his case, there is no way, it was a homecoming.
When I insert the SD card with the inside microSD adapter to my computer, it asks to format the drive. Then the Format Windows removable disk appears and says that my card is 30.6 MB... When I click on Start to get in shape, with the default given the options, it returns back that it is impossible to format.
I tried the SD Formatter 4.0 card. He says that it is write protected, even if the switch is not in write protect mode.
I have a MicroSD USB Reader. I tried this way too, and it does not work.

I found my problem.
As well my card reader USB MicroSD and SD of the laptop slot could not format/read it. I don't know for what reason. But they were a couple of years.

Factory settings recovery will make your computer like a new computer. You will need to backup all the data so you won't run out of all the data.

Have you tried formatting cmd.
First try this, type Format H:/q cmd (where h is the drive letter of your)
USB stick in your case it may be different). It performs a quick format.
You can also format the key USB by right-clicking Start to go on the computer
Management then disk management , then you can click right on your
USB key for formatting.
If it doesn't not solve your problem, then try on way:
Right-click on the service Start , and then click the command prompt (Admin).
Now, in cmd type diskpart , and then type list disk you can see the disk
number and size to find you which disk is your USB. If you
don't have not connect another disc Disk 1 then maybe your USB key.
Type select disk 1 then type Clean . After that, type create partition primary
who creates the new partition, and then type select partition 1 to choose who
partition after the category active then format fs = ntfs quick where fs is the
system files of your pen drive now type assign to assign the drive letter.
Get out now cmd.
You can also use the software Hp format or Format usb drive to format
your pen drive, search it in google.

Impossible to format the full Volume - Adaptec 3405
As you can see, the unit supports and recognizes correctly the volume of 2 TB, but breast of ESXi is impossible to format a VMFS beyond 45.26 GB volume. It seems that we are stuck in a total of 50 GB of space on a volume of 2 TB. Someone at - it ideas?

Your volume TB 2.04, VMware is limited to a size of 2 TB - something more volume that wraps to lose the first 2 TB. Then the 40 GB, you can format is 0.04 CT.
Resize/re-partition your device less than 2 TB.

HP 250 g3: impossible to format laptop
Hello, I need help please!
Yesterday, I bought a hp 250 g3 without operating system and I'll have much trouble after format.
I have windows 7 ultimate x 64 disc, but after much cleaned formats successfully I can't install hp drivers.
I have downloaded all drivers on the hp support site and when I use a usb key to save it on my new laptop stick is not recognizable! I also tried several different sticks but all are the same, laptop can not recognize anything and I can't install drivers.
The other big problem is when I plug in an ethernet cable to connect the laptop to the internet is no longer recognizable. I can't connect to the internet with a wi - fi also because the drivers are missing.
Please help me find a solution, I never had a problem like that, why hp sells laptops freedos if I can't put the drivers inside.

I'm sorry to hear about your problem.
Provider like HP sell most of the computers with the operating system preinstalled. When the person buys a machine with no OS, they are supposed to know how to install the drivers and how to set up their machine with the desired OS.
The USB key can be broken (highly unlikely) or insert you in a port (Cap) for which the drivers are not installed. Windows doesn't know what to do with them. You could also be inserted the USB into USB v3 port (if any)?
Solutuons-> burn the drivers on CD/DVD and insert the support for the laptop. Transfer the files and install ALL drivers.
Finally, apply all Windows including optional updates. I checked, and your model includes CD/DVD device.

Impossible to find resources online for my laptop
I have a uk model Envy 17-1190ea s/n CNF0488B9J XE526EA #ABU product number, but have never been able to find resources online for her page, search by name, series or product number.
The research I try always arrive at "we couldn't locate the support & troubleshooting for the product... page. ». I have HP support assistant installed but when I try this link to access the online resources for your pc, I get the same impossible to locate.
I suspect that HP Support Assistant is not picking up updates of driver etc. for my laptop and want to manually check that I have the latest version.
Any suggestions on where I can find the support page?

I had a pretty serious problem with my HARD drive.
250 GB HARD drive
C: 116 GB - NTFS - Windows XP (Vista initially)
D: 1, 5 GB - NTFS - (Vista Recover?..)
E: 117 GB - RAW (was NTFS prior to crash)Local drive E: MFT have been damaged because of the virus attack (I hope not because of my madness!). It's NTFS, now it's RAW. I got all the necessary data partition with program ZAR, but all my attempts to recover or just the format E: remained unsuccessful.
None of the defective sectors found on the HARD drive. Standard Windows tool to format the disks fails: 'it's impossible to finish the formatting of E:Before this problem with the E: drive, I had several problems with HARD drive. I have never divided re discs, to Partition Magic from the beginning he identified incorrectly. I tried Partition Magic 7 and 8.

I would like to just launch Recovery to restore the HARD drive to its factory condition. If the recovery fails, you can try to delete the partitions with FDISK from a startup MS-DOS disk. Free bootdisks can be found at www.bootdisk.com
FDISK can also repair a Master Boot Record by running this command: FDISK/MBR
But it is not 100% reliable, it could cause more harm than good. -
Tried to format the USB key for use in my camera clubs. They couldn't find / read / or receive message saying 'must drive e to the format to use. I tried to format it to MS-DOS and ExFat on IMac and laptop Pro. ElCapitan Version 10.11.2. Anyone else have the problem?
