  Despite the great "getting started" documentation and webcasts, can't do the Simulator to work...

  I can ping, and I don't get any errors when I chose a configuration of Flash Builder series - it generates the .bar file well and gives me the following output:

  When I do a Debug launch, it's the same thing, except that I finally get a time-out error because it cannot connect to the debugger - probably not surprising.

  When I package and deploy via the command line, I get even a promising "done" at the end:

  The app is just the sample helloWorld application and works very well when I compile it as desktop AIR application.

  I'm on Windows XP and I don't have the admin rights.

  Does anyone have an idea what else could be wrong?

  Finally got it works!

  Apparently not that if anyone else had the same problem, but just in case, here is what does the job:

  I just made a deployment command line with the flag set - devMode (without it I got the same results with Flash Builder or blackberry-airpackager, i.e. no error, but nothing appearing in the Simulator):

  >blackberry-deploy -installApp -devMode -device 192.168.223.128 -package PlaybookTest.bar
  

  And the strange thing is: now that it's installed, I'm able to run my FlashBuilder debug configuration and it installs and launches new construction without problems!

  Anyway, thanks again to all who have tried to help - I learned a few things along the way...

  I am currently using student Labview 2009 edition, I also installed NOR-DAQmx 8.8, I don't have that a little project to do with the acquisition of a voltage using a DAQ6008.

  I'm trying this project: http://www.me.umn.edu/courses/me2011/labview/LabVIEW-thermistor.pdf the problem is that Assistant DAQ is nowhere to be seen in my Labview program.

  Is there something that I missed?

  The problem is that NEITHER-DAQmx 8.8 is not supported by LabVIEW 2009. You must download and install DAQmx 8.9.5 or later for LabVIEW 2009 supports. I recommend the latest version of NOR-DAQmx:

  NOR-DAQmx 9.0.2 - Windows 2000/7 x 64/7/Vista x 64/Vista/XP

  Let me know if you encounter other problems.

  When I opened the Windows features dialog box, it acts like it is looking and the box remains clear. I have never chcking option boxes. Have you ever seen this before? I am running Vista Business.

  Thank you for your message.  Is your aftermarket sound card or is it integrated with your Gateway computer?  Try to download and install the latest driver for your computer at the following sites.
  Bridge - click HERE to go to the gateway site and download/install the latest driver for your computer.
  RealTek - click HERE to download/install the AC 97 Codec from RealTek.
  If you are still not able to install these drivers, start in safe mode with networking and download/install the drivers from there.  Click HERE for Safe Mode instructions.

  I installed a LG drive and connected to the motherboard for desktop Inspiron 530.  It came with a DVD player, but I wanted to install another one, the LG one. There is power on LG DVD, but the Bureau does not recognize the LG.  Software Troubleshooting also do not discover the existence of the DVD.  It therefore setting of the material.

  I noticed there are two circuits of jump on the motherboard, and my experience with other facilities for other DVD players showed me that I had to move only those blue connectors so that the drive would be recognized.  Is - right and how to move recognize them the second DVD player, if that's the problem?

• Not possible to eject and not appear in my computer DVD player

  I got a Dell Precision 390 with Windows 7 Professional that is upgraded to Windows XP (I guessed that I bought from someone else, and said of the tag on the Windows XP computer) with a DVD re - write. I went to install the programs I had on my old computer to this Dell one. A program is Daemon Tool Lite which create a virtual drive for image editing (for more information, go to this link http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/products/dtLite ). During installation, I see that it created a virtual drive that Windows recognizes. After that, I went to install the following programs. This one is a CD, so I push the eject button on the DVD drive of the computer. But nothing happens, so I check in my computer and see no drive DVD except the drive on which to create the Daemon Tool Lite. I click on eject this disk, and nothing is happening as I hope. I uninstall the program, and then turn off the computer. When turns on again, part said start-up, that the computer can not find the DVD drive, unlike any other time I turn on the computer. After login, I saw that in my computer, except my two hard drives (disk Local C: and D :) had nothing else. Look back on the drive on the computer, the light on the subject was green without flashing or anything to indicate it was working. I am not all discs in the player before that happened, so he wasn't being stuck. I tried to push the emergency eject button and download the Microsoft Fix It ( http://support.microsoft.com/mats/cd_dvd_drive_problems/en-us?wa=wsignin1.0 ), but they do not solve the problem.   It sounds like the power or the drive failed (possibly).

  If you're not confident you can take the computer to someone who can fix it for you.

  If you have a friend who is confident at that time ask

I seem to be impossible to get a substring of the URL - the String.substring (int, int) method does not appear to return the expected results. It seems that other methods of strings (such as the indexOf (String)) seem to be operating on the chain of substring returns a part, rather than on the chain saw when the url is printed in its entirety.   There is little of the magic that is you fool. Basically, if you change out.println () System.out.println () you will see TWO URLS begin with satellitescheme: / /. What is happening, this is the URL which are produced by the ISU Sites still are built with a satellitescheme://...#satellitefragment. Then, what is Server RHN Satellite will process the result and replace the strange chain with one that fits your URL assembler (and in this case, you use the GSF assembler).

  In your code of substring, you are breaking the special chain and are cutting the encoded URL. RHN Satellite Server does not see the prefix and the suffix combined, so it does not have to make the substitution.

  That's why Your ' e see what see Your ' e.

  A big question is however, why you try to process the URL generated by the API. I guess that sort of substitution will happen, but that should not be done. What you trying to do? I'm sure we can find the right way to achieve your goals.
