  Just a thought...

  It may be interesting to try to open Movie Maker and go to...
  Tools / Options / compatibility... tab and left click of the
  "Restore all defaults" button / OK.

  This is not the Preview version of Skype, but is the oldest Skype for Windows, version 7.28.80.101. I'm a (paying) happy user of Skype for the past 7 years, and it is pretty central to my work as a tester of computer software. I noticed the new behavior very recently where Skype just stop with any kind of message that I saw, and if I do not realize and restart the application, the people I work with who just thinks I'm offline.   I had the same problem. I tried to install Skype several times with the same result. Then I went to the start page, held my pen on the tile of Skype until the options menu. An option has been uninstall - I did. Then, I went on the site of Skype and downloaded the Skype Setup file. Once downloaded, I double clicked and was able to install Skype.

  Now, Windows reinstalado, me quizo obligar use the Windows para usar Skype account.

  Como forma no habia, yo baje software Skype OTRO a worm podia use mi viejo plan if y lo use una vez, pero are al dia siguiente no me appears, y reaparece than me me anote a Skype con Windows, etc..

  He solved por mi cuenta, explico como por lo ago if any has a similar problem, are very simple.

  1 Desinstale todos los programs SKYPE desde the instalacion/desinstalación of programs section.

  2 - Tambien desinstale SKYPE del "desktop of Windows 8" clickeando in el icono y seleccionando opcion DESINSTALAR

  3 - Baje Skype desde knew web site (y lo instale, claro).

  I want to emphasize, that Skype on Windows 10 tablet in the current state is unfortunately completely useless. As a modern version of Skype has been depreciated in favor of the version of office (http://blogs.skype.com/2015/06/11/a-more-efficient-skype-experience-for-your-pc/), desktop version is the only way to go. However, it seems that nobody has tested this version on Windows 10 Tablet, because apparently nobody has seen, because of differences in behavior of the screen keyboard, message textbox, as well as the latest messages are covered by this keyboard.
  
  Change in behavior of keyboard (moored at dock/no) has no effect.
  
  Please fix this as soon as possible, because in the current state, the use of Skype on Tablet is basically not possible.
