  My HP Touchsmart IQ505a for some reason any does not allow me to set the records public, printer sharing & my 3 external USB Drives.

  I tried to log in as an ADMINISTRATOR, same problem. I even tried allowing all Services but again same problem.

  Another problem is the drive C has no restore points and I am unable to create manually I get a msg of error: DISK WRITE PROTECTED but can write, record & copy files, etc. on the disc.

  Open the "Windows Firewall with advanced security" and clicked on the button "Restore default settings" and that solved the problem, and now I can share files again.

• Reader 11.09. impossible opening secured documents

  I work in a corporate environment and have encountered a problem on one machine so far. It is a Windows 7 machine. Pictorial recently (less than a month), decent care etc.

  It is running Adobe Reader 11.09, same version as I do, all updates applied. But its impossible to open up the whole fixed documents tested so far. It can open normal PDFs very well and will even start properly if run manually, but every time I try and open a secure PDF document it will fail to open and crashes instantly with a Windows "Stopped working" error similar to the following:

  

  I tried credentials full administrator on the machine, different standard user, Adobe Reader repair logins, fresh re - install, repair any .NET frameworks just to be sure, run sfc/scannow and find no violation or corruptions. Test the PDF file on my own machine and the machine directly next to him, it opens without a problem.

  The PDF file is the HMRC CT600. It's a signed PDF (I tried manually inserted the certificate Adobe - no problem) and all the trust / protected mode settings have been changed or disabled. I tried with the file storage network and also on the local hard disk, makes no difference, the journal of protected mode provides no overview of the issue (some ACCESS_DENIED errors with the registry, but I get the same in the newspaper on my machine and I can open the PDF very well with the same version of the Player 11.09).

  
  The event viewer is also no mention of all the failures, accidents or any stop services.

  Basically, his conduct as crazy and I wish I could this figure, im just stuck for ideas right now, short of redefinition of the machine, which I wouldn't do it at all. Oh, and all the machines we use are based on a standard image to the hard drive and the standard configuration of the machines. Theres no hardware/software conflict as the same PC and the software is used throughout the company.

  Open the PDF even worked well on the previous machine for the user, and the user didn't have to open any safe document since getting a new machine more than a month, so I have no idea if its been like that since the computer has been deployed, or if it is a recent phenomenon.

  If anyone can shed some light, or have any ideas, I have not tried, even a link to a list of requirements (software installs ie. .NET or dll is used, so I can at least try to fix with the replacement of a machine of the dll), then I would be extremely grateful.

  Problem solved. It took a combination of down to Adobe Reader X and deactivation of the communication to the Adobe servers regarding certificates of trust.

  The same option in reader XI did not work, but did so in Reader X.

  ^^ To the left in the case where someone else bangs head against the wall with this like I did. ^^

  My friend and I recently discovered that we could share our playlists together using Apple's music. However, when each of us has sent each other our relationship, we were greeted with an error message in the music app. The error indicates specifically "point not available the object you requested does not currently exist in the music of Apple in the United States." The same message appears even when you click on our own links to our own playlists.

  I have a Toshiba laptop dual drive, which has been recntly upgrade Vista to Windows 7. Windows 7 has taken over most of my C drive, so I had to put programs on the other disk of data E. The other day I bought AVG Antivirus 2011 on my computer (e data drive). Since then, even after taking off avg, I can't edit Office Word or OpenOffice documents. It seems to do on my external drive (which I added it) as well as of the moment. Its strange since she started as soon as I have used AVG. Any suggestions would be what is the problem? How it can be solved.

  I really need help because my computer seems to be slowly dying! Tried to get in touch with AVG but they seem to simply ignore the problem right now.

• Impossible to share or download

  OK, gurus, I need your help because I'm at my wit's end:

  I'm trying to share/download a recent series of Photos for Mac to Facebook photos, but I'm running against a wall on all fronts.

  (1) share does not work. Facebook is not an option in the sharing feature, although it is properly setting System Preferences > accounts Internet as well as System Preferences > Extensions > Menu share. It just doesn't appear in the Action drop-down menu.

  (2) when I try to upload photos on the web, try the two Facebook as well as attach to an email, on three browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari), when I select Photos in media, I just get a hanging thinking wheel but nothing happens.

  Any ideas?

  The man... Photos for Mac has been such a POS since its launch... they gave good functionality in an attempt to push everyone in iCloud. Ugh...

  PS - if anyone has also alternatives recommended to the Photos, I'm all ears. I'm tired of dealing with
