Impossible to subscribe to channels YouTube (works in IE)

I have 2 computers running Firefox (the most recent, automatic updates) with AdBlockPlus and WebDev for addons... Two computers, I cannot subscribe to the Youtube Channel. This works very well in the last IE. It worked fine last week. What could be? I tried to disable ADP, but the question remains

I am running windows 7 x 64 with the latest Firefox (automatic update). Anyway my troubleshooting steps were:
Manually disable all add-ons (web developer and abp) - still a problem
Then I discovered under Firefox Help "restart firefox with addons" - disabled still a problem.
3rd stage - I uninstalled Firefox, but data - problem persists
Finally, I uninstalled Firefox and deleted all data = problem SOLVED.
My other computer fixed by itself. I still don't know what the problem was and I'm a little hesitant to install WebDev and PBA.
Just that most software problems can be solved by reinstalling shows.
I am that mark it as RESOLVED.
Thank you.

  • functions of YouTube works do not (such as adding to the playlist comment)

    Hello.
functions of YouTube works do not (such as adding to the playlist comment) has stopped working, they are still working for the same account on chrome or another browser. (when it happened I didn't update or downgrade programs, addons, plugins that run in firefox or chrome, I don't see why all of a sudden).
so I can't like videos, I get the message 'feature not available try later', can't add videos to the playlist (whole playlist including fav, as: Watch more later playlist pre made by youtube) and can't comment, for these 2 functions, I get the message 'invalid request '.
all this happen again and many times, they stop or I can't make it work with reboot, refresh, try again.
I did a fresh install of firefox and all it's the addons, plugins, same installation fees of adobe and divx, vlc products (which have the plugins or addons in firefox)
After installing I could like comment add to playlist, before the snap all the addons, but I could only play HTML5 in youtube, any video that had no HTML5 support required at adobe. (after that I installed adobe it worked until I restarted the browser).
now it does not work yet. (to disable, uninstall all the addons, plugins does not affect the problem)

Some issues may also occur because of ProxTube - at least, I realized that I was was instantly redirected to the first film in the playlist on youtube - having no chance to see the entire playlist. It works when I disabled ProxTube.

In IE, youtube works perfectly. In firefix, it throws the error above (screenshot)

Please also check that firefox has to connect directly to the internet. in firefox > options > advanced > network > connection - settings... Choose 'no proxy'.

also, make sure that firefox is not blocked or in sandbox of your firewall.

  • Functions of YouTube works not properly!

So in 2-3 weeks Firefox really was frustrating to deal with YouTube.

These are the questions that I have:
-When in "My subscriptions" and trying to hide the videos by clicking on the arrow at the top right, nothing happens.
-Using the "Watch later" button that appears in the lower right of the thumbnail does not work.
-When in ' watch later 'list cannot reorganize videos by dragging on the three points on the left side of the video tab. "
-When in 'Watch later' list cannot remove the videos by clicking on the x in the top right of the video tab.

Only yesterday it worked for a few minutes and then he was back to does not. Anyone who knows these issues? In Chrome, it works without problem. Still, I thought moving because of Chrome what I wouldn't do. I thought that the new update that came out today could remedy but no, still nothing.

And on the side note: when Firefox will apply 60 FPS video playing on YouTube? Now Mozilla turns on, you're slacking.

If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)

  • full screen YouTube works on half of the screen

When it is on youtube, safari 9.0.2 on my brand-new early 2015 macbook proand I select full screen on a video, expected load black screen but then the video loads in only half of the screen.

There is a temporary fix, it must change the quality to any other quality video and then back again, but this must be done each time full screen is enabled and has a little lag.

Anyone know a permanent fix or knows if apple are working on it.

This does not occur with firefox, so I guess there is a problem with safari, not my mac or youtube

  • Windows Media Player will not play mp3 or mp4, but Windows and YouTube work OK

When I go to a media file (.mp3 or .mp4) and click on it, I get a message
Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file.

By clicking [help] and follow the signs, I see that my computer has two devices in the "Sound, video and game controllers" section, both have the status "this device works correctly.

I get Windows sounds normally (startup, etc.). Can I play a clip from YouTube and videos that I prepared myself with Camtasia.  However the same video will not play when I click the .mp4 and Windows selects the default Windows Media Player program.

    How can I fix it?

    Thank you, Robert.

    Hi Robert,

It looks like .mp4 files are not supported by Windows Media Player.

    Reference:

Video MPEG-4 can be encoded and stored in an .asf file container by using the tools of Windows Media and Windows Media Encoder. You can then read these files with Windows Media Player. For more information about Microsoft and MPEG-4 support, visit the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

You can search your favorite engine and download and install the codec that is compatible with the operating system.

  • Impossible to incorporate and view YouTube videos to Muse: 'plugin blocked. "

Hello! I'm unable to embed YouTube videos on my site of Muse. Whenever I have paste either YouTube embed code in an HTML object or try to use the YouTube widget, Muse shows a black box instead of the object with the "Plug-in Blocked" notification, and I'm unable to view the content. I can embed Vimeo videos very well, but I'd really like the ability to integrate YouTube videos as well.

Does anyone know why Muse blocking me the integration of YouTube videos? This seems to be a very odd behavior, and I found no other discussions on the forum regarding this same issue.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide!

Great idea! I never use Safari, Chrome only. But when I tried to view the video in Safari, I discovered my Flash Player youtube plugin was out of date. I installed the latest version of Flash Player and that fixed the problem! The YouTube widget now works normally w / muse and I also see embedded YouTube videos. Please point me in the right direction. I never thought to solve this problem. You Rock!

  • YouTube works perfectly without Flash Player

Recently, when I try to Watch youtube videos, video literally disappears, my cursor starts acting weird and whole page crashes. I can hardly even leaving the page and I sometimes get a message for an inactive script, but I just shut everything down. I uninstalled Flash Player and like magic the videos worked perfectly, I only got messages to install Adobe Flash player again. I installed again but the video worked for about 3 minutes, then Flash Player crashed and the video disappeared and everything happens again anywhere. Can someone tell me what is happening?

    HTML5 video is 'happening '.

(A standard adopted late 2010) HTML5 using MP4, Ogg and WebM (Google format) to play the video. It requires no plug-ins. This change was made due to the fact that more people use smartphones now access to the Internet, those of the dektop computers or laptop. As phones and tablets can not use Flash, websites like YouTube, Yahoo, DailyMotion and others are ALL their video converting to HTML5, and YouTube is actually all finished with their conversion. That's why YouTube videos will play with no Flash Player.

    You use Internet Explorer?

  • A channel memory works not repairable... no?

OK, so I've reduced my memory problem (you know, of the post on the motherboard does not start, where my system was recognizing only 16 GB, 24 GB) to a channel on the motherboard does not recognize it. I tried 1 token at once in the A1 location, until I had checked that all six bullets started properly at 4 GB. Then I glued a chip in A1 (because the mobo requires a chip in A1 to start), and one stuck chips in other passers-by, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 and discovered that, whenever I put a chip in another location, the mobo would recognize 8 GB of memory, as it should be... except slots B1 and B2. These slots were not at all recognized by my BIOS.

So, apparently, that this channel is not picking up the memory... can be done to fix this? FWIW, CPU - Z from CPUID sees all 24 GB of memory, so somehow they work at least partially... it's just the system BIOS and Windows that cannot pick it up. It also worries me because not only I do not receive my full 24GO, but I do not also get advantage of the increase in the speed triple-channel...

I tried the BIOS from the top down, and there is no setting it that limits which channels is turned on... so I'm stumped. Ideas?

BTW, the mobo is the Asus P6T6 WS Revolution with an Intel i7 - 920 (D0) CPU. I am also running a GTX 580 and a GTX 285 and one Raid card.

So, it turns out that my system is still under warranty (four!) so they are shipping me a new mainboard... sweet!

  • Impossible to subscribe to a feed of photos

I received an invitation to subscribe to the feed of photos from a friend. However, when I click on the "subscribe" button, this is what I get:

I tried connecting to iCloud, but still no luck. Any suggestions gratefully received.

You have accessed the Photos.app iCloud on your Mac?

Then log off and on again or restart the Mac and try to accept the invitation of your mail again.

  • Impossible to subscribe Engadget RSS

I can view the RSS feed (http://www.engadget.com/rss.xml) on Firefox without any problems. But I can't view RSS feeds by using a bookmark directly, when I click on the folder, it just says "bookmark live feed failed to load. This occurs after the recent redesign of engadget.

Hello. I just added the live bookmark and it worked for me. Could you try to right click, delete, try adding again?

If this does not work please test the issue in safe mode to Firefox to see if one of the installed extensions, or a customized configuration, is the origin of the problem.

Please let us know if it works. Thank you!

Try the Firefox Safe Mode to see how it works there. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open the Mode without failure of Firefox 4.0 + holding the key SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or use the menu option help and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Do not choose anything at the moment, just use "" boot mode safe. "
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.
If it's good in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .
