  When it is over an unselected path or shape (as in, something that you can select if you click right here), it shows a black box. When you're not selected anchor, it shows a white box.

  I have a background and I need to apply a clipping of a group object mask. I can't perform the task that it clips only one object in the group.

  To be more precise, you can, for a clipping mask,

  (1) create the object in the background to be cut;

  (2) create the clipping objects, such as 3 separate letters (or just three circles or other) and place them as you wish on top of the background object;

  (3) select all letters/objects and object > compound mask > make;

  ((4) ShiftClick the background object or ClickDrag on everything or Ctrl / Cmd + A to select the two 1) and 3) and

  Object > clipping mask > make.

  and an opacity mask.

  (1) create the object in the background to be cut;

  (2) create the masking objects as objects of filling/nostroke in black or white, such as 3 separate live/described letters (or just three circles or other) and place them as you wish on top of the background object;

  (3) select all letters/objects and Ctrl / Cmd + G to group them (with the letters, you can use Object > compound mask > do instead);

  ((4) ShiftClick the background object or ClickDrag on everything or Ctrl / Cmd + A to select the two 1) and 3) and

  Click transparency Launcher (click on the right arrow above) do with with Clip opacity mask and mask invert checked (black letters, mask Invert unchecked for white letters).

• Cannot transform objects into perspective more

  I'm doing a cup of a building 3D in Illustrator CS5 and I got a lot of things already, but now I can't transform objects in 3D perspective space.

  See attachment: I can draw and position them in perspective, but when I select the 'Perspective (red) selection tool' and select an object, the handles in the corners / sides are no longer visible (in blue).

  None showed the edges, but that did make me think. I have switched to hide/show the link area.

• Equivalent of VCS to call the Transformation part mask in the CUCM

  I'm changing the ID of group calling using a VCS.  This can be done easily with a CUCM by creating a road model and using the 'mask of Transformation part of the call.  Anyone know how to do this same thing via a VCS?

• Smart objects mask layer

  I converted the background image to a smart object, the sharpness filter applied, and then clicked on the smart object layer mask.  It is supposed to be filled with black and painted white so the smart filtering turns.  However, the layer mask is white, not black!  How can I get the fill either black and non-white.  Thank you.

  When you add a layer mask by clicking on the layer mask icon at the bottom of the palette add layers, it will default to reveal all the active selection as a mask or a white layer mask. However it you hold down the ALT or Option Mac clicking on the layer mask icon add default is a layer mask to hide all black or the selection inverso active as a layer mask.

  When you add the first smart filter at one end of the dynamic object a mask with filter will add. The mask will be the additional smart fill effect also the is only a filter mask.  The default filter mask is a mask to reveal white or an actress as a mask selection.

  Once you have a mask, you can target and change it using the tools in Photoshop.  So if you have a reveal all mask and you want to be a skin all the mask mask targets and use Ctrl + I or CMD + I reverse.  So if you have a mask for dark tones, you can target contrast of the mask it and willingness to hide what's not shadows.

• Impossible to move objects with the Selection tool

  So I just installed Illustrator CC, I have now on a trial license.  An hour ago, Illustrator suddenly began to refuse to move objects, while I'm in the selection tool.  I can move objects in the free transform.  I use shortcut keys a lot, so it's really slow me down.  I hit 'V' to click on and then move an object, and then it won't move. I get the error sound, but no dialog box appears to explain the error.

  Because I'm about to bite the bullet and start paying a hefty monthly fee for this program, at my trial runs out, that's enough aggravating circumstances.  Anyone has any ideas what can cause this?

  Looks like there could be a hidden modal dialog open. Hit the ESC key does nothing to release the objects?

• Each smart filter separately on a single smart object masking

  1. is there a way to mask each smart filter separately on one single smart object... other than the nesting of a dynamic object in the other?

  2. Yes. Open the smart object. Drag the layers in the original document. Now you can remove the layer containing the smart object.

• How to transform a mask on a shape layer? (CS6)

  I detached the layer mask to the shape layer and ensured that the thumbnail of the layer mask is selected in the layers palette.

  If I do a cmd - t on OSX to transform, Photoshop (CS6) selects the shape layer path to transform instead of the layer mask, even when the thumbnail of the mask is still selected, and even if I have a choice of brand.

  Is this a bug?

  Activate the move (V) tool and activate the option Show transform controls can transform the untargeted mask. By clicking on the small square handle will launch the mode of transformation.

  

  CS6 shape layer is really still the the shape layer pre - CS6 - a fill layer with a vector mask - but with the addition of a stroke attribute. The attempt to disguise as a new special type of layer resulted in inconsistencies, trouble, inconvenience, and deterioration of the workflow.

  effect as a result of my object null around my mask shape.i know I can bind the object null with my effect, but I don't know how to get the value null in my mask.

  Just paste the mask in the position of the Null object property. Select the Null value, press P, select the property, paste.

• How to disable blur and transparency on a rotated free transform object?

  I use photoshop CS6.  I want to be able to turn something and did not photoshop mess with pixels from what I shot after clicking on apply.  I made a compilation of screenshot to better explain what I will speak about.  The second of the three images is exactly how I want the end result to look, less the area bounding.  Is could someone please tell me how can I achieve this?

• Impossible to select objects close to an area of text in Illustrator

  I had this problem in CS6 and now CC and never taken the trouble to ask for help, but it's really bugging me right now.

  Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.3

  iMac 27 inch

  10.10.5 OSX

  When I try to select an object (using the Selection tool) such as a line, which is located near to a text box, if the object is too close to the bottom of the text box it is not possible to choose something other than the text box. It's like there's an invisible overlap that extends beyond the bottom of the text box. The two do not overlap, they are not stacked in my screenshot, the line is 15px below the text box.

  I've seen messages on the selection of objects using text boxes by rotating "selection of object by the path only, but clearly, this does not solve my problem.

  

  (ignore the fact that the cursor in the image is not a small point, mac screenshots hide the cursor so I photoshopped again to show where my cursor is actually on the screen)

  As you can see in the screenshot, there is a thin line under the title text that indicates it will be selected if the user clicks. The line, which is below the slider is not selected.

  Of course there are workarounds such as: text boxes locked, keeping the text on a separate layer and lock then the layer, do not put things near the bottom of the text boxes. But when you do the editorial work, I find one of these very boring alternatives.

  Any ideas anyone?

  Unfortunately, there is actually an invisible overlap: the square em from the text, which is independent of the size of the text block. at the moment I can't think in a reliable way around this.

• ID CC 2015 problem: Impossible to move objects

  I have recently updated CC to 2015 on my Macbook air and have a class project, I try to start but I have a problem with objects in a file. I am able to resize them, but NOT move them to a new location in the file with or without a frame.

  Initially, I guess with a lengthy absence from the application method to treat objects must be refreshed in my memory so I searched and found that this was not the case.

  I then tried to restart the application and open the same object in a different file, but the problem persists.

  I won't be able to complete this class project if this problem cannot be solved. Please tell me that something can be done.

  I read something about erasing the preferences but not received any results from the buttons that she supposed to hold. Playback refers to 6 CS but I thought that this particular method might not be exclusive. This is despite the fact that I have actually no custom preferences to erase.

  Cloud of published Creative recently updated software for InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I installed them, and all the InDesign issues have been fixed just in time for my second class project.

• Impossible to move objects or text boxes in inDesign CC

  I was working on an inDesign document without problem, and suddenly, I was unable to move objects or areas of text with the selection tools. I could move only with the help of my arrows. The objects are not locked and are not on a locked layer. This problem occurs now in all my other documents, and create a document did not help.

  I found this thread (why can I not move objects and text boxes in Indesign CS5.5?), which suggests that I have my inDesign preferences 'trash '. I did, and it does not solve the problem. I also uninstalled and then reinstalled inDesign, but that didn't fix the problem either. I use a version of Mac OS X 10.9.5.
