  Hi I created a layout of Magazine using InDesign CS6 and wanted to be read on native Ipad reader (but not apps).  I put interactivity features like hyperlinks and page navigations and converted into interactive pdf file. The problem was the links and buttons are not displayed on the Ipad.

  I tried to use Acrobat Pro to create hyperlinks, and this time the navigation and hyperlinks are. But is there a way does not create hyperlinks manually one by one (especially the next page and previous page). If I have more than 100 pages of documents, this process will be very painful.

  I tried to restart and install in safe boot... but does not work.

  I tried to clean up the hosts file but had nothing with adobe mentioned on the file...

  I installed for a long time while there is a hacked version of master collection CS6 there may be something related?

• Creation of murals using InDesign CS6

  We often use InDesign to create seamless MultiPanel murals, i.e. a flow wall 6 Panel where each panel could be considered a 'tile' (like the tiles in a RIP), suppose that 40 "x 96" each fact at the 25% level.

  The problem arises when you use a spread where two pages are of different sizes, or during resizing of pages, namely: an undesirable gap or overlap is created between the panels.

  It looks like I can resize the pages the way I need using liquid layout, all having to manually check the (seams) edges of the page by dragging each page until it snaps to the side.

  I can't uninstall indesign cs 6 of my pc. A screen appears and says unistall failed. I haved downloaded the cleanup tool but nothing works. What can I do to uninstall this program

  1 reinstall indesign cs6 then edition or

  2. manually remove what remains after running the vacuum cleaner.

  I installed the latest patch (only because I googled the content viewer and that's where I found myself), not because of any message of my InDesign software.  And Yes Adobe updates tell me that I am current, even if I tried to check several times, in which case my software was not up to date.  I have the Suite CS6 of Design Premium.  If you check on this forum, I asked this question and no useful response.

  So maybe I need to use the Apple book author rather software and renounce Adobe?

  Got it to work.  Downloaded all downloads for files of folio for CS5 and CS6 CS5.5 (not just the CS6 patch).  After that, it works now.

  The title of the discussion is pretty much the question.

  The problem I have is when I put a full stop at the end of an Arabic phrase or a closed parenthesis. If its still with Arabic, the sentence runs correctly. If this isn't the case, then the symbol/English/Conference will be at one end of the sentence.

  I read online the other day that Adobe is planning to retire the Indesign

  CS6 ACE review in November. Anyone know if that is correct?

  I use Indesign CS6 and would try to become certified for ACE

• InDesign CS6: update of TOC makes unusable InDesign?

  I use InDesign CS6 on 64 Bit Windows 10 right now to create a school report. At some point, I created a table of contents of the entire book. As I restyled content in one of the documents in the book, I had to update the table of contents.

  For the moment I clicked on "Layout" > "Update Table of contents", I heard a notification sound (for the dialog box "Table of contents has been updated"). But the dialog box that combines this noise ("Table of contents has been updated") does not!

  As a result, any screen that is filled with InDesign area becomes unclickabe (I hear sound error every time I click on it). Furthermore, I can't perform any action, like save the documents/book. I think this is due to the fact that the "Table of contents was updated correctly-" dialogue does not appear, but it is hidden somewhere in any case. Now my InDesign window is blocked and I can't save my documents more...

  Can someone help me? I would at least save my progress unregistered, or be able to get it back if I have to force - quit InDesign to operate again.

  Well, I looked a little more and found out that InDesign retrieves files not saved at startup (link). It turns out that, InDesign saves the changes in its cache of recovery every minute. For me, it was quite safe to just force-close it and restart InDesign.

  So whenever this kind of weird error happens, there is a great chance you can just force - close and restart InDesign, as he will take care of any change of / / / Unsave, which will apply to your documents/books then opened.

• Export InDesign CS6 does not

  I use Indesign CS6, on Windows 7.

  Export in jpeg and PDF export has stopped working.

  This is what happens:

  • When I export to JPEG, without export window appears, and nothing is exported.
  • When I export in pdf, in some cases no window appears.  But sometimes, an export window appears and I can choose the presets, but all options are empty gray windows

  (I created a new document with only a textframe with a single word, to test generate them screenshots.)

  • When I close then, indesign crashes!

  I tried the following:

  • Restart the pc
  • cache cleanup
  • export from a new file almost empty
  • Recreate InDesign preferences files
  • generate a PDF from my Illustrator file still works

  A few days earlier, things worked again perfectly.  I don't know what has changed since then to make export stop working.

  Any help would be appreciated,

  I deleted the complete C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\Version 8.0

  It's working now.

  Yet to know what settings are lost now, but at least that I can continue my work.

• InDesign CS6 how to set image-link directly to the original file in the folder

  I am running Mac OSX 10.8.5 using Indesign CS6.

  In the previous Indd, 5.5 I have set the image directly, binding not only the record, but also to the image itself, so that the original image was 'caught' and automatically highlighted.

  This is very useful for me. I can't find this setting in CS6. Does anyone have an idea to solve this problem?

  I'm not sure that it works for everyone, and certainly will not work if the file is not in the folder (and if ID takes you to the folder where the image has lived, or the last folder where you relinked, is something preferably, make things even worse).

• Computer think InDesign CS6 is CC and won't let me open my program without subscription

  I have the CS6 adobe creative suite installed on my computer and use almost every day. A few months ago, I bought a subscription monthly to InDesign CC and used for a few months before disabling it. Then, I continued to use my InDesign CS6 without any problem. Today my InDesign CS6 froze on me after that I saved a PDF of my file, so I force quit the program. Now, whenever I try to restart InDesign CS6, Adobe Application Manager appears and tells me that I need to renew my subscription to Creative cloud be able to use it! Very frustrating. All my other programs CS6 open for myself, it's just the InDesign that I have problems with. I use a Mac. How can I stop this happens so that I can return to reuse as usual my InDesign CS6?   I see that your Adobe Id is associated with an expired / suspended Design CC subscription.

  If you have CC desktop app installed please uninstall and uninstall Indesign CC as well. and then try to use Indesign cs6. It may ask you to click on license this software and ask for serial key that you can use to activate it.
