In Ipod touch Apple id password

Hello

We got three units at home. A telephone I6s, IPod, and Mac.

With the IPod, when you are prompted to insert the password of the Apple ID (which is the same in all 3 units), the password is not valid.

Can anyone help?

Thank you.

The account password has been changed since you logged into the account on the iPod (what to do when you have changed your Apple ID email address or password - Apple support)?

If not, have you tried a disconnect (for stores tap your id in settings > iTunes & App Store; for iCloud: settings > iCloud > Sign Out) and back in and see if it accepts the password and allows to connect you to?

  • Apple iPod touch (3rd generation), iTunes hangs everything by making a backup

Original title: Apple iPod touch (3rd generation)

    Try to install the iPod.

I have Windows Vista loaded on. I also tend titanium security and Internet Explorer 8 or 9 charge on as well. iTunes gets to step 2 of 6 in backup, and then freezes. I have the iPod connected to the computer and turned on when I do that.  I wonder if there is a problem of firewall IE, a Trend security firewall problem (I was on the site of trend but couldn't work out how to turn off the firewall - when it exists). Would it be a problem I use a mobile internet device I plug into a USB port?  I read that iTunes needs to port 80 or port 443, and I have no idea what I have with a mobile internet connection, which is a connection of the port numbers Vodaphone. (I travel a lot). Does anyone know what I need to do to complete the installation? I have not yet set up an account with Apple's iTunes or the legends of hearing impaired which is part of the installation.  I really want to restore the ipod to factory settings and reinstall due to do not do these two things, but I can't even do that when I click on "Restore" and ask that 'the parameters that it will NOT be saved' (as I want to go back) but once again just iTunes freezes.  Can someone help this Granny for the iPod facing up and running please with a good connection to iTunes and an active account? Thank you. Laptop.

    Hello

Test the issue in a clean boot State, and check if the problem is related to a software conflict of third.

Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual, and also make sure that you do not disable iTunes while putting your computer in a clean boot state.

If the problem persists, I recommend that ask you this question in the following forum. They must be aware of current issues with this unit.

  • Lost iPod Touch 4 generation?

So yesterday at the summer school, I put my iPod touch 4 generation, in a pocket of my backpack and left there until it was time to go to lunch. When it was time for lunch, I unzipped the Pocket has caught my lunch and left there for the rest of the day. When the Bell had rejected go us home, I checked my backpack to see if she was there and he was gone. I went back to the class to see if I had dropped and nothing. I knew for sure, it was stolen now. Today, I went back to school filed a report and was talking about the principle and the teacher, with both the same, its probably lost. I just bring my iPod to school to take pictures of the House and nothing else. I had for 5 years, since the month of September 2011, my birthday. I changed all the passwords on all the social media and your e-mail and other accounts, BUT my biggest concern are my pictures. I had a lot of pictures with my dog and I was super low because my dog is like the only other thing I did. I was on the point of install findmyiphone on it when I had to come home, but I've never been and probably never used. My question is can I use anything at all to have at least an idea from where it is to or from the last place his was used or attempted to connect to. I used my google account and it shows my ipod, and it is said that the last time that I signed in, it was fathers day that was me. And if I don't have anything, could I use itunes or whatever it is to possibly save my pictures? My parents, both have apple devices and we share a single apple account that allows us to buy music. I bought recently the music on my ipod and noticed that the songs were shared on my iphone ipad and dads of MOM. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    lost/stolen

No application on the iOS device is necessary.

-If you have previously enabled FIndMyiPod/iPhone/iPad on iOS device in settings > iCloud and wifi is on and cellular data or connected are turned on and connected on a desktop browser to iCloud: find my presentation of the iPhone, login and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never appear or continue to show offline.

-You can also wipe/erase the iOS device and have the device beep via iCloud.

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is lost or stolen

    iCloud: erase your device

    iCloud: use lost Mode

-If this is indicated, then you will need to use the old-fashioned, way as if you lost a wallet or purse. You will need to look for.

-Change the passwords for all accounts used on the device and to report to the school of police (completed) and carrier if iPad iPhone or cell

-There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the clear operation (it erases it) use it except if you have iOS 7 or later version on the device. With iOS 7 or later version, you must enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

  • I made the theme retro hack on my iPod Touch (6g) except my iPod Touch takes forever to reset and it slow now. How can I solve this problem?

I did the thing retro theme on my iPod Touch yesterday and I didn't know it was a cut in time. I saw many people Twitter that he was cool and fun, so I decided to give it a go. My iPod by Touch takes forever to reset (hold down the lock button and the home button) and finally will come the lockscreen, but now his delay. When I type in my password, my iPod is not save it up to maybe a few seconds later. Sometimes it will just restart completely on its own too. Do I have to drain the battery or try restarting on my PC? The Apple store closest to me is a trip of four hours to a new State.

Be more careful in the future and always check the information you see on social media.

Try DFU mode, maybe this will help you, although this is not guaranteed.

Apple is aware of the problem and working on a fix.

Hi, looking to get the iPod touch for my 11 year old, don't want him online without supervision.

    (1) can I block the internet connection >

    (2) you can't just overide the parental control with a hard reset?

    (3) if the hard reset is done is there a notification or a way to see this has been done?

Sorry for sounding just OCD try to keep possible safe.

    Thank you gas

I have not tried to use them for good, but take a look at Use of Restrictions on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support. If you block Safari and control what applications are installed, then you have effectively blocked the access to the internet. If you enable the app FindMyiPhone phone cannot reset to factory settings unless you choose to unlock.

  • iPod Touch does not have 6th gen.

So my 6th generation iPod Touch decided to completely brick itself. It is quite insensitive, appearing by all measures to be extinct. It does not have to be plugged into a charger or computer. I tested with several threads to make sure that's not the problem. All the buttons do nothing, no matter how long they are kept pressed. I seem unable to force it to turn it on (or stop, if it's just particularly good at playing dead) and can't seem to do anything but keep papers.

I did not anything out of the ordinary to cause damage, so I don't see why it would be brick suddenly like that. I am running the latest iOS with the updates so far. As far as I can tell, it's just death. Everyone knows a similar problem or have any ideas on how to fix it?

I'll try to get to an Apple store this week, but I guess they'll just replace. This isn't really a solution to the problem here. The problem is... it's the second time that this happens. When I bought my 6th Gen, he bricked within 72 hours. It is a common thing with the Gen 6 iPods or am I cursed? I really do not have to replace my iPod every 3 months.
