I have not yet set up an account with Apple's iTunes or the legends of hearing impaired which is part of the installation.  I really want to restore the ipod to factory settings and reinstall due to do not do these two things, but I can't even do that when I click on "Restore" and ask that 'the parameters that it will NOT be saved' (as I want to go back) but once again just iTunes freezes.  Can someone help this Granny for the iPod facing up and running please with a good connection to iTunes and an active account?   So my 6th generation iPod Touch decided to completely brick itself. It is quite insensitive, appearing by all measures to be extinct. It does not have to be plugged into a charger or computer. I seem unable to force it to turn it on (or stop, if it's just particularly good at playing dead) and can't seem to do anything but keep papers.
