In Non - HTML Email Hyperlink formatting options

Hello

I build an email not html in Eloqua10, and I was wondering if there is a way to change the formatting of the appearance of a hyperlink in it.  For example, when I turn some of my text into a hyperlink it automatically changes color and highlights the text.  As much as I know there is no way to remove the underlining, however I am able to change the color of it.  So my question is: is it possible to remove the underline from hyperlink without editing HTML?

Note: I'm (very) relatively new to Eloqua email construction, so please let me know if you need clarification about my question.

Thank you!

-Andrew

You can add the CSS code to your page code snippet tool.

1. Select your text.

2. click the link hyper on the left sidebar.

3. Select the last tab of the dialog box.

4 blocks your CSS (see table)

I hope this helps.

All of a sudden today my email is displayed correctly. HTML emails simply display the actual html code instead of a graphical display. Texts emails show just a blank page. • Edit As New has no format options

When I use Edit AS New on an e-mail I often find that the email has no format options ("BOLD", etc.). Also the Format and Insert tabs in the menu bar went. The effect seems completely random and unpredictable - sometimes the options are not there and they are sometimes and I can continue to compose email, everything as I have a clean start. Anyone know why this happens and how to solve the problem? I use the 24.6.0 version.

What is the use case that stops you using to forward or reply? Edit As New is somehow a little weird to generate a new message. Or maybe a model or project would be a useful starting point, instead of tweaking an old message? Or a mailing list?

Edit As New allows you to save a lot of time to correct/change a message already sent. The other options, that everything I use, take more time to achieve the same result with the possibility of errors.

As you say, Zenos, there doesn't seem to be a way for old messages "rep [air" but hopefully now, with the option changes send that I did, that this problem will not occur again.

Thanks Matt for your help. I will close this topic now.

  • Text of HTML email

There is a built-in, direct way to retrieve the text of an HTML email in plain text?

I read http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/800698/How_To _... but I still get the new String ((byte[]) obj) cast, which is the equivalent raw text of the complete HTML code.

A quick thought would be thrown the Message to a text message and call msg.getPayloadText (), but this seems to be more of a hack than an effective approach.

Any help would be really appreciated on this.

I want it is: when the body part bp is part of the html body, I want to get it as a text (on the device, this can be done by selecting the item of menu "get Plain Text" in a display of html email). Since the post on this topic by Mark Sohm, I understand that it is possible to do it somehow.

There is no method to convert a HTML BodyParty in plain text.  However, if the e-mail message contains plain text and HTML formats, there will be at least 2 parts of the body of the message.  One will be in HTML, the other plain text format.  The example in the KB in the first post shows how to work with both.

It is possible that only a part of the body was delivered to the BlackBerry handheld.  In this case, you can use the Transport.more method to request that a body part will be downloaded.

  • HTML email in outlook 2013

Problems with my html email not display correctly in outlook 2013. I have stripped the html code of all css and build email using tables. • Need a good tutorial of the PSD to HTML Email

I'm looking for a good tutorial to convert PSD to HTML emails files. I know that steps such basic that decide the document, how to optimize images, save as an HTML file and the images, but after that it becomes blurry. I am struggling with how to have blocks of text in photoshop appear as text rather than an image in the HTML code.

I searched on Lynda.com, YouTube and quite a few other sources but can't seem to find anything that goes on in depth. I am a novice when it comes to HTML (try to increase my knowledge daily) so please provide the answers as dazed down as possible.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

As you have discovered, export as HTML from a PSD is relatively easy. However, to properly format HTML e-mail requires forward thinking for how the text will appear and where - and how much of it will be text. There are many discussions about this topic on the Forum of Dreamweaver that will help you with the side HTML things, but according to the way in which the design is, you may need to re-examine its structure and presentation.

    This might help you: http://www.sitepoint.com/turn-your-psd-into-a-solid-html-email/

Try running a search for "HTML E-mail" on the side of Dreamweaver and see if this helps you.

  • style inline for html email

help with style inline to an html email?

I'm trying to get the text linking to seem low, as it is in a footer. As he is in default of big enough text and seems sloppy when I spotted or send email. Of course, in DW and browser web, he appears as expected.

Is it still correct to apply the color and the font size? Don't seem to have an effect. Note: this is in confines of a table:

    " < td width ="190"align ="left"valign ="middle"font-size ="10px"color ="1C3F94"> < a href =" http://www.LinkedIn.com "target ="_blank"> follow us on LinkedIn < /a > < table > "

    Thank you!

    Change as below:

  • Hyperlink formatting

Not sure if this is possible in the HTML help project...

I use RHX5.0.1 and have hyperlinks of different types used in my projects (e.g., standard hyperlinks in the content), as well as hyperlinks to "Return to the previous", links to the 'Examples' and 'related topics '. Each of these types of hyperlinks has a specific format that I need to apply (uses standard identical to what would be in the CSS formatting, but the others are specialized with small fonts and any highlights).

I've defined formatting for styles of standard hyperlink (active, hovered, not visited, et al.), but I need to override the formatting for things like 'Back to the previous' (of a bookmark box). For hyperlinks that I change, I select the text and reformat using the Format = > fonts and it looks good on the WYSIWYG. When I compile the project in HTML help it ignores my custom formatting and takes on the formatting defined for hyperlink styles in the CSS file for this topic. In addition, there are several different hyperlink formatting I want to use on each topic, so a CSS custom to handle this will not work.

This method of manually reformatting hyperlinks worked well when the outputs to WebHelp, but for some reason any fails when compiling in a HTML Help file.

Y at - it tricks of formatting can someone share to override the formatting defined for the hyperlinks in the CSS stylesheet?

As always, thank you for any assistance.

As you have probably realized by now, HTML has its own styles by default for the major as elements, hyperlinks, lists, etc. However, you can create a number any classes for this problem (see the site web w3 for lots of good info).

The example of link .css below would be called about you such as:

    .

Note that although you can combine two or more Pseudo-classes, separated by commas, they must appear in the order of "LoVeHAte": Link, Vdate, Habove, wasactive. (I don't bother with Active, as in my example, but some people don't.) You will notice in the default.css, which is provided for each project, there are classes that are used for A.expandspot (extension of the text) and A.dropspot (menu text dropdown).

This method allows you to use a single file .css for all your subjects, as you only call it the class you need to each hyperlink.

    Good luck

  • Response of local folders looks like the answer to the discussion group. No signature or formatting options. How can I change the local folders meets regularly?

Please see image attached. Responses from the eyes of local folders as responses to the discussion groups. No signature or formatting options. How can I change the local folders meets regularly, as they are in the Inbox?

I don't think that the format of replies to the messages in the local folders are linked with focus groups or to individual account settings. As local folders can contain messages between several accounts or identities, it is more likely that formatting uses the setting of the account or identity appearing in the: field when you reply.

This is how I think it should work. How this works in practice may be different.

  • Change in 2013 Excel formatting Options are not visible when using high Windows - why contrast themes?

I am currently using the theme of white high contrast Win 7.  However, in Excel 2013, many formatting options do NOT work, when using this theme:

    1. Fill color
    2. Font color
    3. Conditional formatting
    4. Colors tab

To reproduce this problem, using Excel 2013 with a Windows high-contrast theme, whatever we have to do is:

    1. Select a cell and try to change the fill color.  It does not work.
    2. Type the text in the cell, and then try to change the color of the font.  It does not work.
    3. To implement conditional formatting for this cell.  It does not work.
    4. Try changing the color of the tab the active tab at the bottom of the worksheet.  It does not work.

It would seem that, if the high contrast themes have been made to ease of use for those who have poor vision, whereas they should be able to change the options in shape in Excel to make things more visible within their own documents.

I understand very well that changes in the end formatting options will appear if the user switches to another theme of Windows, but who certainly defeated the purpose of using a theme of contrast in the first place.  Why should they play this user switch to a different theme of Windows just to see the changes he made, using the Windows high contrast theme?  Why the user does NOT agree to see the changes that he or she has filed in formatting options in Excel 2013, when you use a high-contrast theme?

The user with special vision must assets concerns of colors.  Excel will meet your needs for a higher contrast (black and white pure) at all costs in order to ensure the highest possible contrast.

Microsoft do not escalate this, it works as expected.

I don't think you are right to say that this is normal.  When you use OneNote in high contrast black it allows indeed to the colors of different fonts, it is just an oversight or a bug of Microsoft on not supporting the themes of their office software.
