  Method 1:

  (a) start the Windows Messaging mail client.

  (b) click on 'Tools' from the main menu and choose "accounts".

  (c) a pop up will appear showing you all the email accounts in Windows Mail. Select the one that gives you the error and then click on the button 'Properties'.

  (d) another window pop up displays all parameters associated with this account.

  (e) under the "servers" tab check the 'e-mail username' and 'password'. One of them would certainly incorrect which translates the ID of Windows Mail error 0x800CCC92

  (f) to avoid having to enter the user name and password each time, check the box in front of "Remember password".

  (g) once you make the appropriate changes, click on the button 'apply' then 'OK'. Close the other pop-up window

  It is similar but different from my previous question. On a computer when I open Firefox it opens automatically log me in my homepage (a Yahoo mail account). When I open a new tab in my gmail login happens with my already filled username. All I have to do is click NEXT and it goes to the login with my password information page. I can't get firefox my my other computer to do this. My homepage comes up with my informed user name, but I have to manually go through the login process. When I open gmail in a new tab, I can't do anything except: 1. press ENTER and get an error message, and then click in the user name box, or 2. Re - click the gmail to re - open the tab. Once I did this the page comes with connection two names - the strange correct one and a few. (I've not been able to get rid of the weird name, either).   Have you enabled cookies and that your company's server allows cookies. If not, then nothing can be done. And make sure that the antivirus allows cookies stay and not remove them.   McAfee is a huge problem with Windows Mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 if you want to use, wait until you get the job of Winmail.

  Check if you can connect webmail and that works very well and it's not a problem on the end of the server messaging or because of misspelled powers.  Then delete your account in WinMail, compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and make sure that you have disabled the e-mail analysis then add your account to mail back again and see if it works.
