  What version of Premiere Elements you are using and on what computer operating system is running?

  You cannot import a project file (.prel) in another.

  For now, generalize choice

  a. export your Timeline (your intro) content to a file saved on the hard drive of the computer. And then import that

  file in new projects by using the new project add Media/files and folders. See publish + Share/computer/and the other

  choices here to generate this file intro for later use in other projects.

  b. you can set up what is called a dummy projects - this is a project with nothing other than the intro file. And, at all times

  you want to use the intro, you open one of these saved dummy projects and add your media sources.

  A lot of things to discuss. Please fill in some details more and then we can refine the answer for your particular situation.

  I work with files in a folder tree.  I want to browse this folder hierarchy, just as I did in the original copy of Windows Explorer in Windows XP.  I want to use the arrow keys to navigate up and down, and when I'm in a folder and click the previous button, I want it to go up one level in the folder hierarchy, just like he used to.

  Click on the heading of column titled DATE. This indicates that the primary sort column. Click on DATE again to reverse the order.

  Because I need to use a fire wire (which does not have my new computer), I downloaded my movie on an old computer (Windows 7, 64-bit). I have 63 .avi files. They are date and time stamped, and I added a generic title after this info to each clip. I burned a DVD, then import the files to my new computer to Adobe first Essentials 13. The files will be named all variations of VTS_01_0.BUP with many redundancies. The files are then rearranged according to the new names, which means that they are completely out of use. What I am doing wrong?

  Looking at the underside of information gleaned from an Adobe website, I tried importing with file name, which seemed to be the right choice. I was wondering if I should rename all 63 files consecutively, 01, 02 etc.

  1. Select a naming convention for files downloaded using the Presets menu.

     File name Keeps the names of files the camera assigns.

  File name - number If your folder name is wedding photos, clips are assigned names wedding Pics-001, photos of wedding-002 and so on.

  Date - name of the file Adds assigns a timestamp file name of the camcorder. The timestamp is the date and time - the date and time on which films have been transferred on your computer. Note: to rename the files, delete them in the active panel of the project expert opinion and reimport them.

  Custom - name number Enter a name in the name field. For example, if you enter my vacation, the clips are named My Holiday-001, My Holiday-002 and so on.

  You mention burning these files to a DVD disc. With your mention of the name of file as VTS_01_0.BUP, it seems to me that burn you any of the 63 dv.avi in DVD-VIDEO format to DVD disc. Why? If you want to save the. DV.avi files, why you not only burn it on a DVD disc as a data disc so that you would have 63 dv.avi saved on the DVD disc instead of the VIDEO_TS folder with all the structures of the DVD-VIDEO format on the DVD disc?

  If the first 13 items had still Capture DV feature, you would have been putting dv.avi type 2 on the timeline after the firewire. Also, do you know if what you used for the capture of data product DV dv.avi type 1 or type 2 of the dv.avi. Did you use Movie Maker 2012?

  Also, I wanted to make sure that you were not dealing with a special version of first 13 items.

  I find that when I play the USB in my car stereo, all the parts play in the order in which I originally recorded my media player CD.  I drag synchronize them in the order that I want but they play seemingly at random, but I think it might be chronilogical order of their recording in Media Player.

  The best way I found to do this is to create folders on the USB drive and then use a different folder for each album of the music.
  If you want music in a particular order, change the name of the file to include a 001 at the beginning, for example, 001 - songname.mp3 music
  Do this for all the tracks in the order you want and software of the car detects the number and play music in that order.

  You can not dynamic stuff in Muse with the exception of third-party widgets. Everything else requires a dynamic interface, so no, you want to do is not possible. You can of course keep a list manually, built from whatever elements you deem appropriate.

  You can not write directly on the client computer.  However, using cfcontent, that you can prompt the user to open or save the file.
