  Whenever your have a problem, post plese CREATE TABLE and instructions INSERT for all involvved tables and the results desired from these data.

  I created the custom declarative component called "Historical Record", following the article of Frank Nimphus Oracle ADF Code corner: How to bind custom declarative ADF Faces components and it works perfectly find.

  But I want to strengthen further to make more generic, as in Oracle EBS we can go to all the blocks and choose Tools-> history of the record and it shows WHO columns to the currently selected record.

  The intention is conditionally bind the attributes of the component with columns of WHO bodies VO.

  The scenario is:

  * all tables have Created_Date, Modified_Date for columns of the WHO.

  * the page containing the 2 instances of VO with different source (for example:-> emp dept)

  * whenever I have navigate dept records it should display columns WHO selected dept and the same thing then to move through the records of the emp.

  Well as I said, you shouldn't try to rebuild the Oracle Forms technology-specific behavior in some other technologies such as ADF (because it is not usually possible).

  It is probably best to have a separate button for each shape (square to a coherent position on all pages - as some form, toolbar header...)

• (Repair) virus killed file system; What is the best way to rebuild the system?

  System of Vista Business 32 bit SP2 from my child was hit in the wrong by a virus; When you run the repair virsu he deleted system files infected and he now gets repeat BSOD.

  No, the Startup Repair is not going to fix the system, and the virus seems to have killed all the restore points. also can not get SFC / SCANNOW to run correctly.

  So: I went to (a huge field of) struggling to set up a Slipstream installation DVD of Vista SP2 (since the original installation disc supplied with the system was only vanilla Vista).  I thought that I could load that and select the 'Upgrade' option and simply rebuild the Windows system, keeping all my programs and data.

  But no, after loading, the system informed me that "upgrade has been disabled", as well as the comment for clarification: "-to update, launch the windows installation"-that sure I can "t do since I can't display the corrupt system virus even in safe mode.

  SO - I have a few questions:

  (1) FIRST: was first my hypothesis?  In other words, if I COULD bring up Windows on the machine damaged (even if only in safe mode), would be the upgrade, go ahead and work - whereas the old system corrupted virus was also VISTA SP2?  Or - the installation would inform me that he could NOT make an upgrade because it would detect that the previous version was indeed also VISTA SP2 and therefore "knowledge" that he could not (really) do an upgrade?

  (2) assuming that the answer to #1 is 'yes', then: is there a version of Vista Installable (same one I might need to buy) that could make the upgrade, even if the Windows system being upgraded can not come?  IF this is NOT the case: what is an installable version upgrade of Windows 7?  or it is the sad reality that no matter what version of Windows I buy, I can't choose the 'Upgrade' option unless the installation is load/run Windows on the upgraded system?

  From previous posts, I have all kinds of good advice on how to retrieve data on corrupted system files, so if there is no other alternative, I'll do it - but this is my last resort because:

  b its a lot of your time working are going to extract all the files and

  (b) his work even more of your time then having to charge all third party software (including some I have no disks to install for more) if I find myself

  having to do a clean install of Windows.

  So, if there is no alternative to an upgrade - if I have to shell out some $$ for a new version of Windows, I prefer to do that.

  If there is a virus on that system, in other words, there is no way to be always sure that she has been completely removed outside of the shaping machine and put it back.

  There is no guarantee that an inplace upgrade will fix this problem.

  I recommend to backup your data you mentioned in your original post.

  Step 2: Rebuild the media player database

  You can't start over with the new library in Windows media player, but you can delete the database of Windows Media Player. To do this, follow these steps:

  (a) output Windows Media Player.

  (c), select all the files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

  Note: you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

  (d) restart Windows Media Player.

• Rebuild the Eclipse project

  Hi all!

  I made an app that works very well in the Simulator and I can install it on the device (9300 SV 5.0) and works very well.

  But when I try to install it on a 8520 device and select the .alx Office files show me an error saying that the installation is perhaps not compatible.

  I guess it's normal because the libraries are different and that the files .alx file is located on a folder 'deliverables-> standard-> 5.0.

  I downloaded 4.0 library to Eclipse, but I don't know how to rebuild the application to work with 4.0.

  What should I do?

  Open the Properties window for your project in eclipse, go to Java Build Path, on the libraries tab, choose Add library, select JRE System Library, then press Next, select another JRE and select the BlackBerry JRE you want in the list and press Finish. When you return to the Java Build Path window, go to the tab order and export, uncheck everything except the library, you need and press OK. Now you should be good to go.

  If a SQL cursor is built by a reporting system, a Java application, a c# program, or a PL/SQL call - the database doesn't care, because he doesn't know the difference. A Select SQL cursor created in PL/SQL through the ref cursor interface, won't be faster than the same SQL select in Eclipse. If the SQL source code is the same, the same cursor SQL program will be used by both.

  That means when it comes to database power, write an SQL program to do. Stop thinking of SQL as a language of data recovery a single simplistic statement. Think of it as a programming language. Extremely complex problems can be resolved with a single SQL, which requires easy code 100 + lines of PL/SQL, Java, or c#. Write SQL programs. Not SQL one-liners for a grinding program PL/SQL or Java data.

  Why then PL/SQL? It is the best language to manage the creation of SQL, dealing with the process flow, conditional processing, and so on of exception handling. It is less than SQL (such as Java and c#) in the treatment of the data.

  Why? The binding occurs before execution. Mandatory if v_deptno (level) will try to assess the level BEFORE the time of execution and therefore level is not set. Currently (this may change in the next version) before executing Oracle treats level 0, then you could try level + 1. This will not throw an error, but you will get incorrect results:

  As you can see everything we returned is deptno = 10 employees. Why? Because it does not an affair occurs just before the execution, but is also a TIME. That is why the subquery:

  I have a web application which for some adf displayed tables, displays all the lines highlighted that if they were selected. Not all tables in the request to do so, but those who have this feature do it every time.

  Can someone point me in the right direction? The rowSelection property is set to unique and set apart from that I have no idea where to begin the search.

  In your last code done selectAddress refers to "index" but I'm not declared or assigned. I think that you are missing 'var index = list.selectedIndex;' statement.

  I'm currently upgrading my forms 6i in 11g. 6i form is currently using the element of the hierarchy tree.
  After the form conversion, 11 g and the execution of the form I get the error FRM-47323 following "no nodes are selected in the tree.
  The same shape work very well in the environment of 6i.
  
  This error is not documented anywhere and am not sure why only after upgrading to 11g it gives this error.
  
  After debugging the code, I noticed that the following code will fail with this error:

  The problem is the reference "Ftree.SELECTION_COUNT". The Get_Tree_Selection function returns the reference of the selection tree node NŒUD. The SELECTION_COUNT variable stores a number that represents the number of nodes that are selected. Its been more than a table that a NUMBER because it contains the reference of the index for each node selected in the tree. ;-)

  If you need to know which node is the current selected node, try to use: SYSTEM. Trigger_Node instead.

  I have unusable a clue. Now I want to rebuild the index for this I have to rebuild the partition and the tablespace in two different command as

  now my question is when I run first command and check the index of fof status it shows not usable. In the same way when I ran only 2nd order also rebuild successfully. If I ran only 2nd command works fine?

  Why you set all the indexes to be UNUSABLE?

  (Please don't keep saying "unuse index", do you mean "occupies an unusable index"!)

  The instance / session SKIP_UNUSABLE_INDEXES setting determines the behavior of DML. In 9i, it is false by default. In 10g, it is by default true. Thus, in the 10g (unless you have changed it back to FALSE), INSERT/DELETE operations can succeed even if an Index is UNUSABLE. However, indexes to enforce PRIMARY KEY constraints or unique indexes (index created in CREATE a UNIQUE or apply INDEX of UNIQUE constraints) cannot be ignored by normal DML.

  (Direct path operations automatically update the index and, therefore, can leave clues in an unusable state temporary.) These look like actually to DDL operations and lock the partition table/preventing simultaneous updates).
