In stairway white borders on the live paint groups expanded

Hello

I'm having a problem with the live paint groups that I can't understand, or find a workaround for.

I create all my lineart for the illustrations in Adobe Illustrator. I use the tool pen in combination with the line tool width to create the thickness of line. Once I finished all the work of the line, I select all and Expand. This translates not have refills for the areas of illustration that need to be colored.

From there, what I do is select all > livepaint > make. I then fill in each area in a base color, using the Live Paint Bucket tool. Once finished, I have to select new all > expand. This leaves me fillings that I can choose indivually to apply gradients and work directly with.

This process works fine until I have develop the live paint group. After developing, there is a thin white border around that meet two distinct colors. This occurs only after having developed, this does not happen when it is still a live paint group. I tried all the options in the window to develop and achieve the same result. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I exported the work done in several formats (eps, .jpg, .png) and the lines are still there.

I've included a picture to show the problem. (the Red arrows point to the issue of borders)

If someone could help out with this it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!!

Most likely, it will not be printed.

It's a problem of how 100 K is rendered in CMYK mode with anti-aliasing

Turn anti-aliasing off the coast in the preferences. If the line is still there: you have a problem.

It is not there in mode live-painting living objects are treated as a whole.

  • Gradient does not meet the set of a live paint group

    Hi all

I tried to fill this paint group direct (and others) with a gradient, but the gradient does not fill the entire form. It seems that the location of the gradient is confused so that it only fills in the center of the shape. I have attached a screenshot below as an example.

    Gradient Slider issues.png

In this picture you can see that the slope is very strong in the center of the shape (highlighted in red), even if the gradient tool indicates that there should be much more widespread in the whole of the form. The degraded place sliders don't also reached lower than 13% or higher to 87% for some reason any. This has happened through the whole document and is not the first time that I had the experience.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it continues a major project at the mo

  • Cannot use the live paint

I just downloaded the demo version of Illustrator CS4 for Mac. For a class project. I'm my no teachers to the letter, but I can't. I guess change of letter, it is size and angle duplicaate then it and resize and variation of the angle of the second. Then select direct painting and paint more polished sections of letters. The problem is that when I select both letters and go to live paint it won't let me choose ' do ' so I can't paint. And I can't use the fill bucket, it says "the selection contains objects that cannot be converted." Anyone know why it does this and just so that you know that I'm a COMPLETE newbie to this is my first time using this program.

Looks like you are trying to make a group of LivePaint live text objects. You can't do that. As the alert, you can use paths.

You can convert the text into paths objects by selecting the Type > vectorize.

  • Can't "Fire inside" when selecting of live paint group

    Hello

I am new to Adobe Illustrator and have been playing with it for the past two days. I'm also reading / studying the "Adobe Illustrator CS6 in the classroom in a book". in any case, I have a problem using the "GET INSIDE" mode when you select a group of "Live PAINTING"! So earlier today, I drew a slice of pie with the "BRUSH" TOOL and my drawing consisted of BRUSH several traits that I had combined using the PATHFINDER → FORM MODES→ unit unit. In doing so, my drawing was now a 'COMPOUND PATH' and since I wanted to add a color to the empty space of my drawing 'pie slice', I did it in a group of "Live PAINTING". Now, I have no problem 'coloring' spaces with the "POT of PAINT DYNAMIC" tool, but I want to add shading/shaping my drawing by selecting 'PULL INSIDE' and with the 'BRUSH' TOOL, however, 'PULL INSIDE' is greyed out for me! What I am doing wrong? Not I am combining my strokes in a correct way?

Also, I came across the following post, https://forums.adobe.com/message/8470945#8470945 and had followed the suggestion of the expansion of my PAINT DYNAMICS group, but "SHOOT" is always grayed out. Here is a screenshot of my drawing and the workspace.

Draw inside is available for simple traces (and transparent traces), because it creates a clipping mask that can be done with simple traces (and transparent traces)

When you develop your vectorization, you get a group. You must separate this group as well or change in isolation mode to draw inside the unique paths

  • Shortcut to switch between the samples during the live paint tool?

Hey guys, so I noticed recently near the cursor when using paint direct bucket there is 3 pallets.

    IMG_20160727_195534.jpg

(Sorry for the quality of the photo, did not know how for shooting with the cursor on the screen.)

So 3 palettes are according to the swatch group as you can see in the upper right of the image.

I think there must be a shortcut to switch backwards and forwards on the pallet.

I can't find anything on Google, what do you think? I'm wrong or I'm wrong?

What is the real purpose of these 3 pallet near the cursor?

    Thank you!

You can not have brushes or traits of variable width within a live paint group.

    You can either:

-develop before entering the live paint

-work with a copy of the railways in live paint

-Apply a stroke again for the live paint group using the appearance Panel, but then all the strokes have the same appearance
