  An Essbase installed 11.1.2.4 customer, I installed this version as it corresponds to OBIEE 11.1.1.9 as who uses 11.1.2.4 drivers.

  You want your server is in production, it does not apply the changes to the datasync file. You can easily update this by removing the Datasync records in the portal database before you deploy the new ear containing the changes to the .usr files.
