  • Windows Live Mail error, can't send or receive any

I get this error when you try to check for email...

Can't send or receive messages on behalf of the Charter. The host 'pop.charter.net' is not found. Please check that you have entered the server name correctly.

    Server: 'pop.charter.net.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0D
    Protocol: POP3
    Port: 110
    Secure (SSL): No.
    Socket error: 11001

    Would appreciate any help!

You can send and receive messages from your online Charter web e-mail page (you have an even if you never use it)?  At least you can use it (if it works) to send and receive emails until the problem with Windows Live Mail is fixed.  This would exclude a problem with the service of the Charter itself (except perhaps the transfer of your location and messaging program-, but which will be intercepted in the next step, which is to contact Charter).

Contact the technical support of the Charter and ask for help in the creation of the Windows Live Mail account.  Explain the problem.  A setting is incorrect - maybe the name of the server or maybe some other focus on the configuration server.  Don't let them not the phone is turned off until you are running.  It is difficult for us to help you, because we do not know the parameters of the Charter (and they have people who do nothing all day, but help people who have problems exactly same or similar to yours).

If the above does not work, please transfer your question in Forum Windows Live Mail to:http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop orhttp://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=15.

    I hope this helps.

  • How I change my ID of Windows live mail. Unable to send Email with Yahoo ID present

For the last few months I spend hours ranging from help in support of sites etc sites, try to change my Windows live mail 2011 ID so I could e-mail. Somehow be an absolute genius, I entered an ID Yahoo active as my windows live mail ID. Whenever I'm on a MSN site (and sometimes others) when accessing "share or email" it automatically opens a Windows live mail sending form. It still shows my address like this Yahoo address and I get a failure. For any consultation of everyone else, it is the actuall message:

The connection to the server has failed.

    Topic "

    Server: "smtp.mail.yahoo.com".

Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0E

    Protocol: SMTP

    Port: 25

    Secure (SSL): No.

    Socket error: 10013

This message was received honestly more than 70 times. When I want to "spend" a few hours, days (and nights), I'll start again in this adventure with absolutely no positive results.

Please please help! How can I change my ID to the one I use, for example, for HOTMAIL?   Thanking you in advance

    Try this:

Click the Start button, select Control Panel and click Add/REMOVE. On the page Add/Remove to find the windows live essentials and click on modify it / remove button. This will display a page that offers the possibility to uninstall or repair. Check the button fix and on the next page, select this option to repair windows live mail. I hope this helps.

  • Windows Live Mail - a problem occurred when trying to open this message

    Hello

I have a question where several emails appear in my list to the Inbox, but when trying to open them, the "this is a problem when you attempt to open this message" error.  After investigation, I noticed that the messages in question also appear in my file to delete items.  There, I can open them, so it turns out that the header of the message remains in the Inbox without the body.

After reading many forum, I ran the command "esentutl.exe d «%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Mail.MSMessageStore»»  Subsequently, I now can't open Windows Live Mail, seeing the error "Windows Live Mail could not be started.  The application could not open the Windows Live Mail message store. Your Windows Live Mail mailbox data is currently used by another program, such as a virus scanner. Close the program or wait so he could complete its operation, then open Windows Live Mail again. (0x800C0155, 2) »

I then delete the message store file so that Windows Live Mail restores a backup in order to restart the program and check my email.

    Help, please.  Thank you.

I need to return to the previous version of mail but do not know how and what I lose my contacts and emails from the Inbox?

1: what version of previous mail? Win7 has no default program.

2: is it a POP3 account? Open a new message window and then attach the photos. No need for supplements.

If you have professional, enterprise or ultimate edition, you can use OE in XP mode. There is no standalone version.

I went with Thunderbird. It's not exactly like OE, but I like much more than WLMail.

Of course there are others like Opera, Eudora, etc. You can Google for e-mail clients.

    For your Favorites:

Import or export favorites in Internet Explorer

Export the Favorites on the desktop and then copy them to CD or flash. Copy it to the desktop on the other machine and import them.
