  Hi all

  I tried to open a modal dialog box on the click of a button on the Panel the other day. But failed. I managed to have a panel appear on click of a button. But the Group appeared at the forefront of the parent panel. I don't want to. Here are some screenshots of what I managed to do and what I want to do.

  This Panel will appear on the click on the button "Click." Note that the child Panel cannot be moved outside the bounds of the parent panel.

  

  Instead, I want the behavior of the child Panel as shown below. As the modal dialog box that appears when we create a new action game in the Actions Panel.

  

  This Panel can be moved all around the application window. Kindly guide my way through from there to achieve.

  You can open a modal secondary window like this:

  var w: Window = new Window(); A mx:Window, or your own subclass

  w.type = CSXSWindowTypes.MODAL_DIALOG; in the package com.adobe.csxs.types

  w.Open ();

  There are up to four types of different windows that you can open in the form of secondary windows, although not all are currently available in all products.

  I found that it only works if you create an array for the columns, edit, and then assign to the data grid:
  CGI Columns = aColumnsNew; reassign the array to the dtaGrid

  This: 'dg.columns.push (dgc);"does not work.

• Uninstall DW: None 'remove' buttons in the Panel

  I want to uninstall DW and CS2 to an old Windows XP machine. The problem is that the "delete" buttons no longer appear in Control Panel after clicking on "Add or remove hardware." I tried a few solutions by going into the registry files, but none works.

  My question is: if I do a restore using the recovery disk and all the Adobe programs are deleted, I'll be able to install DW on another computer (my second installation that was on the XP machine)? This second facility is "lost" because I do not uninstall DW using the uninstall program?

  Thank you, Fritz, had to do the same for Acrobat for a reason-would in fact create a new document, edit and save to disable the button lights up.

  I want to create a button for example a help button on the front of the VI so pressing that any new user can open folder in which I store some guidance assistance.

  P.S. I can easily get the CSS code were right to say Windows Notepad, but I really want to make it work in the CSS for DW CS5 Panel.

  Do you see a row of icons at the bottom of this Panel under the word "Properties"?  On the right side, there is a chain link icon, a document with a plus, a pencil, a crossed circle and a trash can - what do you see?  Looking for just a second, the document with a more.

• Open the Panel before Subvi in the executable

  In my labview project the MainVI contains about 20 subVIs. My goal is that by clicking on a button on the Panel before the main VI I would open a special Subvi (assuming it to be sub - VI, 10). To do this in the labview development environment, I used a reference of openVI with its path of entry is the name of the VI vi I want to throw (Subvi 10), and then set a real constant on the front panel to bring up the control panel front of the Subvi.   Have you tried to use static references VI instead of using 'VI open' with a file path?  With a static reference VI, the compiler has a better idea on what you are trying to accomplish during the execution.

  I did it in before executables without any problem.  Personally, I like having a Boolean input of the Subvi, called "Display window" (or something like that) and then have the Subvi manage how it wants to open (or close) front panel.

  It is within the Subvi (which my main VI is still running).  The Subvi has a static reference to himself.  I have a button on the front of my VI main panel when you press on sends a 'true' to Boolean entry "display window.  The Subvi responds by opening the front panel upward. The opposite happens when the button is pressed.

  This code was compiled in many executables and works without any problem.

  Now, I'm working on the use of LV and Google Earth as a planner of mission right now.

  My question is this. I have a 2D array that stores the Lat/Lon each waypoint. I's like to have posted on my

  front tabular, with WP # (the 1st dimension array index), Lat and Lon on line, like this.

  

  More importantly, have the user can select a point of full path (or just the number of WP would be ok) and remove it using key DELETE or any other button on the Panel.

  I am at a loss on how to do it. Ideas?

  You said that you were using a table. I suggest using a multicolumn listbox. In this way, you can change the selection mode to "highlight the whole line. You can use a structure of the event to respond to the user by pressing the delete key. See attached simple example. Note that some keyboard can label the BACKSPACE key as 'delete '. If you want to answer it, you also have to see if the Char value is 8, which is the code for this key.

• How to lock the Panel right side of toolbar icons?

  Although you can not definitely nail panel installation you can save the arrangement and, in a few clicks back to your page layout in which all time things become bottelés.

  First set up your personal Panel arrangement. Then, go to window > workspace > new workspace. Give it a name (let's call it Mystuff) and save it.

  The next time that your panels is dragged off correct placement, just go to the window > workspace > and choose Reset Mystuff. Everything will automatically appear in its position.

  I noticed that when I join an Action, filters/orders executed through the Configurator made of panels do not leave traces in the action itself. For example, I had a panel with a bunch of buttons, included shadows / highlights. I have create a new Action and start recording. I press the button of the Panel S/H, S/H applies correctly to the image, but the action is always empty, nothing is recorded. If I go through the menus, it's ok as usual.
  Is that a known behavior, a bug... perhaps a feature? ;-)

  I'm not very clear about your problem. I think you try to save an action. And this action include some click a panel created by Configurator.

  The action "Click" on a panel generated by the Configurator can be registered in action now. It is a limitation.

  There is a barrier blocking technique to make a Configurator Panel 100% identical to other panels.

  We will try to solve it free in the future.

• The Panel buttons before manipulation within a structure of event

  Is there an easy way to manage buttons on the front panel within a structure of the event? I am currently using a structure of the event to bring up a settings tab, but I can only use the buttons that are designated as events. Is it possible to use non-event buttons to perform a sequence of installation and calibration within a structure of the event?

  I'm not sure that understand your question. From what you describe, you should look into an architecture of producer consumer where your event loop receives an event, and then transfers part of the work to do in the loop of consumption. This keeps your event loop free to receive events. LabVIEW 2012 comes with a good example of this, the message queue manager model project of waiting.

• How to open or return to the Panel tabs 2,3,4,5,6, etc. using a URL link.

  I have some problems with Spry Panel tabs. I use Dreamweaver CS6 and tried the code, as seen on this link URLUtils Spry help to open remote tabs and panels , but it did not help.

  My Tabs panel contains up to 6 tabs and maybe more that I do. I need help on how to return to the tab, I was after filling and display a form which is this tab?

  For example, I have form questionnaire on tab 3. How can I return to the same tab 3 after filing my form of questionnaire.

  Note here that when I click the button submit, the contents of the form are validated in the database, and the form will be redirected to the URL link that is attached to the submit button. This ULR link must have something comme.../interview.php?tab=3 or so it will load tab 3 once the page is updated after the presentation

  

  Also note that my site is still currently offline. It has not been added to internet as I'm just starting my project.

  Here's what I did

  1. I created the tab 3, using the example, as seen on this link using Spry URLUtils to open the panels and remote tabs which I said was not helpful. In any case, I'm sorry for that. Please forgive me for my mistake.

  2 filled with content and adding a link tab = 2 #TabbedPanels1 what makes 3 tabs. See the image below

  3. light that it worked, I replaced now the SpryAssets folder of the project that I worked on the SpryAssets folder I downloaded from the link using Spry URLUtils to open the panels and remote tabs and that's all.

  My conclusion here is that the SpryTabbedPanels.js that is automatically inserted in the SpryAssets folder of Dreamweaver has a fault code when it comes to adding links.

  So I give credit to the Powers of David which I believe is the author of the above code that solved this issue

  It's empty because you used the available predefined for the Bootstrap. By default, Dreamweaver puts bootstrap.css read-only. Although you can make the editable style sheet, it is strongly recommended that you create a style sheet for your custom styles. Dreamweaver automatically grants the second style sheet after bootstrap.css, so it can override any styles by default startup.

  Expand the Sources of the CSS designer pane, click the button "+" and select the option create a new CSS file. Once you have set the new style sheet, make sure that it is selected in the Sources pane. You will then be able to work normally with the Panel of selectors.
