InApp check update go to App World

I need to be able to check and use the update/version of App World information. Could you tell us is it possible and how can we get this kind of info.

I would appreciate if you can provide some documents.

I think you have to code this logic yourself. The only way I see not doing (and I've seen applications that force an update) is to have a server on your end, where you can query for the version latest in AppWorld and if the version of users don't match then force them to update and close the application or open the AppWorld.

  • Demand Smartphones Suspicious updated blackBerry Blackberry Apps World

Can anyone ease my mind? I received a text informing I needed to upgrade my Blackberry Apps World and had to create a user ID. Later in the process he advised that I should give my paypal password and that your future purchases would not speak based on the new blackberry and password. He gave me the opportunity to accept it as the only way to adjust th Apps World in the future.  I was suspicious but not able to contact Blackberry to check that it was a formal request.  Stupidly, I enter my paypal password, which she said was not valid and that I could enter payment details later. I came out of the site then tried to come back using the new id and basically apps world froze with a banner saying authentication and a symbol of locking up.  I changed the phone market but he continued to show the same thing.  Once a few more attempts with the same result, I took out the battery and then tried again. Apps World began, but I think it was the original version. Is the agent of upgrade? It seems not just to replace my id/password my paypal password world apps. In addition, after taking the battery and turn it again now I lost all my photos - but I guess that's another issue!

You don't have to enter your paypal address, UNLESS you want to fill your registration MyWorld previously purchased apps.

On the pictures... it would be useful to know where they are stored.

Try this, perform a restart > with the phone smart BlackBerry turned on, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Now, after back running, give the device FIVE minutes to install down to all activity data and to allow the device to recan map support, if you have a. It does this automatically, you do not need to do anything.

Now, retrospective of photos at all. They are present and represent for the moment?

If not, go to your media icon > Menu button > Explore. Here you have a choice of a press card?

Search all folders, see if you see a photo you are missing.

  • Rejection of the App World App update

    I get the

"Bundle file was rejected. Package ID is required for all .bar file. If this is an upgrade, ID of Package must match ID of Package in the bundle of original file. »

error when I try to update my BB10 App World app.

The Package ID is the same as for these applications has always been and I don't know why it's getting rejected.  Is it possible to see what Blackberry * think * matches the product ID?  I don't wan to have to recreate 4 apps App World that is a painful process in itself.

    Hey Dustin,.

You have been really chatting with me about this thing at the time in the port a tuna.  It is all resolved now.  A problem was apparently different keys used to wrap the original app, and the other became the name of the corresponding package properly (some have been com.domain.myappname others were just myappname).

    Thanks for all the help.

  • BlackBerry smartphones after update to the last App World no applications installed in 'my world' options

After that I updated the latest App World (3.1.4), I found that there is no apps installed in the section 'my world' even these applications still in my camera (Bold 9900). It is wired that I connected to Blackberry ID through website, I can see them in my list. What is wrong with him?

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

    • KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World

    4 AppWorld must close

    5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

I hope it'll work for you! Good luck and let us know!

  • List of blackBerry Smartphones empty applications after App World updated to 3.1.4.25

After I updated my BlackBerry App World to 3.1.4.25 version, the BB App World installed applications list is empty but I can always use them. Tried resets to 3 or more soft, uninstall and re-install BB App World, try using the desktop software and synchronization of media, but the list is still empty. Now, maybe it's not a problem but it's still boring, that I will not be able to know when new updates are available for my apps unless I have all uninstall and re - install again, I guess that. If someone else has had the same problem or everyone has set this thing yet?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry ID App world update and battery life

    Hello

Yesterday, I received a message saying I needed to update my blackberry app world to integrate a Blackberry ID in the new version.  After completing the update, my battery life has been significantly reduced.

My normal operation autonomy is about 24 to 32 hours.  I got the phone on the charger overnight and after cutting the cord this morning, 4 hours later, I'm at 40% battery, where I should be 90-95%.

I have not done other updates since the Blackberry ID push, and normally my data usage is low. (IE, less than 300 MB per month)

You ask what are my options in this case.  I guess I'll have to work on the resettlement of the application through my Blackberry Desktop manager, but I was wondering if there is something I can do in the immediate future.  I've done several soft resets, and it did not help.  I'll do a hard reset (remove battery) and try that.

    Thank you.

After a few system updates and deleting app world, my battery issues have been resolved.  marking this post completed.

  • Icon blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry app world gone.

I use bb 9780 with OS 6.0. I have a few days back that I updated my Blackberry app World 3.1.0.60 but since then I cannot locate my world the app icon on my home screen.

I checked my whole bb and even hidden files but its nowhere to be found. It shows in the list of installed applications, but nowhere in the blackberry. I even tried reinstalling several times but still the problem is persistent.

    Please help me on this.

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now, look for the AW icon again. All records and in the folder/tab download

  • App World offers versions for sale?

Looking at my logs of licenses, I see that people are doenloading the old versions of my app on App World. And the new version is available for sale for at least 6 months!

For example, if I look at the web version of App World, it shows my app stopwatch ProTimer v1.3 released April 2011, supporting the Torch 9800.

    http://appworld.BlackBerry.com/WebStore/content/19464?lang=en

If I log in the latest version of App World on my Torch 9800, it offers me v1.2 post Dec 2010.

Looking newspaper license Dynamics once again, I see people downloading all kinds of different versions. There should be only one! He never changed the OS from my point of view version. And the list of devices has only increased.

Sometimes I check on my portal App World from the seller and find some popular devices, it has fallen off my list supported.

What is the problem here? It is quite difficult for developers to make money without such problems.

I had this happen before and there seems to be a bug in the App World. I don't know if this helps, but what I did for my old versions is together than lists of their device to one of the devices of 8700 and together the BONE minimum 7.0 support. This will actually make the application not compatible with the device, but I do not know if or not the App World Server will still deliver older versions. Check that devices that receive the old version are indeed included in the list of compatibility for your new version.

I guess the user ends up getting a notification to upgrade later if they initially download the old version, but this isn't a consolation a customer is dissatisfied with the old version.

I tried to update the BlackBerry because I could not download applications, when I open it. He sends me to update the bb app world.

However, I get this msg: Sorry, your session has expired. Please close all browser windows and then return to the home page.

Surely my BB is supported by the App World. and my current plan in Nigeria supports the wrld app. How can I solve this?

    Hi agtsih

If you encounter problems with the BlackBerry world update then try this way:

On your home screen to Options > device > application > locate and remove Blackberry World of this list.

KB10040  : How to display or remove installed application on a blackberry smartphone

Once you have removed perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered on wait a minimum then reinsert back.

Finally, use your BlackBerry browser and navigate to www.blackberry.com/appworld/download and download the most recent version available.

  • Shop online from App World for blackBerry Smartphones

Whenever you open the BlackBerry App World store online with another operating system that Windows, you receive a warning, that not all the features is available with your current operating system and the button continue.

I don't know what are the features I can't use (because using Windows has not revealed any functionality that I didn't have on my Mac yet), but the thing is really annoying on this subject is: when I opened the shop online via a link to specific content (App, seller,...) I always get this message the first time that I try to enter and 'continue' - button redirects me to the content, I tried to open but just open home App World. Forcing me to go back and reopen the link to finally arrive at the specified location.

And this bothers me too, it's, the online store is not yet updated automatically Redirect PlayBook-users to the build-in App - the world to conveniently download the App - not try to connect to the online store click on the 'download' - button and then only see the message "Please open this article on your device" and then have to open the App world App and search for the application.

By the way: this has been fixed with the update of the App World bug. Now there is no such message that my browser is incompatible
