Inconsistent behavior of the user interface in the keywords fields

I noticed an inconsistency in the way keywords fields are dealt with in the Web portal. I was helping a new user today, and this inconsistency really triggered her top.

In the Article Properties > metadata Article screen, when you add a keyword or keyword internal, after typing the keyword, you can either press the tab key or the back key to 'apply' the key word.

But in the Layout Templates Beta > mapping, when you edit a mapping rule, and you type a key word or internal keyword, hit the tab key has no effect. The key word is on the line and allows you to move to the next field, but it is not "applied" until you press the return key. This caused the user thinks that she entered the key word, when in fact she was not. Has caused about 25 minutes of troubleshooting until we understood what was going on.

Just a heads up, hoping this gets fixed.

I'll make sure that the team has a bug filed for this...

    You're right, that's not correct. The only workaround is to convert the string of waveform in an X / Y pair of channel and display this. I hope that we can fix the problem for the next version of DIAdem.

    How a client would change a label field for all user interfaces that use this field or attribute, which is not really a translation?

    What I have found seems to be that we would need to edit Resource Bundles and it will be much easier in version 8:

    1. the information on Resource Bundles in https://blogs.oracle.com/fadevrel/entry/translating_your_customizations section has this key passage:

    It is a standard open sector (OASIS) XML file with the extension .xliff format and store translated values for strings used by the ADF running. The general process is that these values are exported from the MDS, modified manually and then imported into the new repository. This must be done by an administrator, either via Enterprise Manager or WLST orders according to the screenshot below. It is detailed on the merger application Extensibility Guide.

  • Strange behavior with the function «Help in command line»

    So I do a little playing with the opening of the files compiled help (.chm) with the command-line help feature, and I saw a strange behavior when trying to index multi-level access keywords. According to the documentation, if you set the 'Key' operation, you can enter a value for ' string to search for "to access this section. The more precise help that:

    If this string contains a keyword index, the string must match the key of the index as it appears in the help index file. To access a topic with a multilevel index keyword, enter the keyword of the top-level index, a colon and the keyword of the second level index. Do not separate the elements with spaces. For example, a chain of error codes: GPIB jumps about a subject with a keyword of top-level index of error codes and a second level keyword index of GPIB.

    All right, seems simple enough. Except that when I tried, I couldn't work, even with the example provided. I tried the following simple test:

    Opens the help file, but it opens to this page, not to the page ' error codes: GPIB "non-descript. I saw this in 8.2 and 8.6. Anyone have any success with access to a multi-level keyword?

    Curiously, the Index for the help lvconcepts.chm file looks like this:

    In other words, the input index text is just "GPIB", but the text that appears in the keyword field is "codes error, GPIB. I'm curious to know how this was accomplished. I decompiled the lvconcepts.chm file and watched the .hhk file, and it is not immediately obvious to me. (By the way, if you try to use "error codes, GPIB" it does not either).

    It is a very strange behavior.  I tested out and seen the exact
    same results you are experiencing.  This was reported to R & D (AUTO ID # 130246) for further investigations.
    From what I can tell the a possible workaround solution that we have documented
    in the post of root Canal.  I can't continue to look into this in order
    to see if there is no other workaround solution or a reason why it is

  • All the keywords entered in Lightroom CC no appear in the Photoshop Info file

    HI: The solution to this problem seems like it's pretty easy, but I have not found an answer after a little research. So I apologize in advance if it is dealt with elsewhere.

    Here's the situation. In Lightroom CC, I type in the Keywords field all the keywords I want to be associated with an image. Before you export the image file to a folder on my computer, I select "Include all the metadata" and check "Write keywords as Lightroom hierarchy." But when I opened the image in Photoshop, only some of these keywords appear in the Info file. (These same words also appear if, in Lightroom, I select 'Will Export' in the menu dropdown next to "Keyword Tags.")

    I do not - and have you not want - to do anything fancy with my Keywords. I just want to type the words in the box of Keywording in Lightroom and all these words have same show when I or someone else, opens this file in Photoshop.

    How can I do that no matter what keyword I have type in the in the Keywording field in Lightroom displays all the time with no matter what image I get in? In other words, I have to go through my long string of keywords in my list of keywords and check each keyword individually (which could be really very long)?

    My default, all keywords must include on export checked.  Try to test a new keyword - is it verified?

    I've seen a few reports over the years of catalogs in which a large number of keywords had somehow got unchecked.  Unfortunately, it is impossible to batch edit keywords, your only option is to examine each keyword in turn.

  • How to simulate the behavior of the user interface of JUnit test

    In my application, for users to choose a hospital, I have a LOV associated list linked a view called HospitalVA accessor. When users select a hospital from the list, I'll call "getCurrentRow()" on the HospitalVA to get the selected line of the hospital. Please refer to the code below:

The cause is that, because there is no user interface, it has no real selection on the LOV. Accordingly, the view accessor does not get its pointer set on any record by ADF.

    Instead of using "getCurrentRow()", I can also use 'findByKey()' for the selected line. However, I believe that this is not the best option in terms of performance.

    I would be very grateful if you could show me if I did something wrong or else please tell me the right way to interface behavior test user in a unit test.

    You must include the selection of a row of the getHospitalVA() process in your test case before calling the setHospitalUuid() method. This will select a rank which serves then the current line in your setter.

  • Sharing of inconsistency between the API and the user interface for catalog

    In the vCloud Director UI, you can go to the properties of a catalog and share TWO everyone in read-only AND specific users/groups to have full control of the value. The API seems to allow to BE ReadOnly value all or specific users/groups to full control. Even when I put the two in the UI, when I do a GET with the API, if IsSharedToEveryone is set to true, the individual user/group access control settings are not displayed. They are mutually exclusive?

    So who is correct? the API or the UI?

    If the user interface is correct, how can I get the same result with the API?

    What I want to achieve, is to allow full control to a specific group of users and read-only for everyone.

    The workaround is to have a group set for total control and another with everyone in the org in a different group of read-only value.

    This is a bug confirmed in 2013: #424745.

    It is expected that the code for the custom control must be compiled and linked (unregistered, however). However, the link must succeed, and you should be able to interact with the custom controls everything in operation. This was the behavior in 2012. Certainly, it is not a good way to interact with a progress bar in the user interface editor. But for other custom controls (control password, for example) it makes more sense.

    at first glance, it seems to me that there is a problem in your code; in the method "getBooks" you call "findAll", and in the latter, you trigger a refresh of the provider. The refreshment of the provider calls internally "getBooks" method to update the data of the user interface. So here you have some kind of loop. You can debug and see if this is what is happening. "getBooks" should have only the return line.

    If this does not resolve your problem, you may show your amx code to see how you manage the search field.

  • Change the colors of the images between monitors while the user interface remains the same

    Hey! Im having a problem where photoshop change colors when I move the window between my monitors, see here: http://sta.sh/04y5s60vf3j is not due to the monitors themselves being different, it does actually change after a few seconds to move inbetween the monitors. The left was callibrated with an elite group of spyder 3 I do not have access to. I applied the file with windows instead of the utility of spyder color management. The second is new, and it is not callibrated by what that is, but instead was done by hand with integrated RGB brightness/contrast/custom settings. Two of them are very close to eachother, so enough for my taste. but when photoshop changes which looks like the image, it is causing problems. Curiously, when I disable calibration of the screen on the left, the image doesn't change color between monitors, but instead always appears as it does on the right. but then they do not match to the top and all the screen looked washed out because it's uncallibrated, so that won't do me any good. Something else interesting to report, is when this image is saved as a. JPG and read with firefox, the image appears exactly as the monitor on the LEFT (which is my primary monitor) despite the monitor left which is the force has changed. does anyone have any suggestions? It also appears that photoviewer windows behaves in the same way, although firefox does not work. Meaning when I open an image in all 3 on the left monitor, they look alike, but when opened on the right monitor, windows photo viewer and photoshop both display the image such as the brighter and redder that firefox works. It's frustrating, because it seems that photoshop changes the image with my measured on my monitor left to match what it looks like on the web, it does. but it does not for the monitor right, or the left is uncallibrated. Another question, I can see with this is even if the user interface is the same shade of gray, the images are different between the monitors because of this change. Does anyone have suggestions?

    What you need to understand, is that Photoshop converts the image data, the document profile for the display profile, independently for each display. It is a managed pipeline standard color display. Windows Photo Viewer does the same thing (but do not have a lot of other applications).

    When you move a picture on the screens, it snaps when you drop; as the new display profile is picked up.

    Calibration is only partly about changing the monitor's response. The second part a profile, which is a complete description of the screen in its calibrated State. Then a conversion of standard profile is performed as he goes to the screen. The profile has a much higher level of accuracy than the single calibration.

    If the image on the web has the stripped document profile, Firefox with default settings does not have this conversion and sends just the unchanged data to display. In other words, it is not color managed. This behavior can be changed, but get your first straight base display profiles. Unless you get a new calibrator it is no that you can do to match these two views.

    Is it possible to restore the v31 pre user interface style? Why the user interface has been changed in the first place? The user interface was the area with the least amount of questions, especially when it comes to style and colors.
