• The dvd on the s-video output display problem

  I think I am doing something stupid, but I can't understand it.  I used my T40p for many years, inclunding using the vga external display monitors and digital projectors player.  For the first time, I wanted to use it to view DVDs on a TV using the s-video output capacity.

  I activated the s-video and connected to the tv without problem.  My office is correctly displayed on the TV.  However, when I use the dvd playback software to show a dvd, the tv does not display the content.  The content of the dvd shows correctly on the computer screen, but not on the TV screen.  If I use the view "full screen", nothing shows up on the TV.  If I show only the dvd in a window, then everything on the desktop is shown properly on tv, except the dvd window is blank.  Yet once, it appears correctly on the computer screen.

  I have tried various software to media, including intervideo WINDVD and Classic Media Player player.  I tried PAL and NTSC discs.  No difference.

  I think I'm missing something obvious.  Any ideas appreciated.

  OK, I solved this problem myself.  The solution is to use a configuration that uses ONLY the external display.  Apparently if you enable the output s-video, but do not turn OFF the LCD screen, the video card only then produces the dvd on the LCD, not s-video content.

  There are two ways to select the s-video output only.  Go to settings-> control panel-> thinkpad configuration.  In the window of thinkpad configuration, at the top left, there are five buttons to activate different display configurations.  One of them is "tv only".  If you click this button, the LCD of the computer stops, and the s-video output became active.  Showing a dvd in this configuration using intervideo WinDVD or other programs video display shows the contents of the dvd to the TV via the s-video output screen.

  The other way is to implement a model of custom view using the Director of 'presentation', which is accessible from the 'thinkpad configuration' window described above.  It is available under the "view" dropdown  I created a custom method called 'dvd' that automatically sets the external screen in 640 X 480 resolution.  This is consistent with my standard TV ntsc resolution and avoids the need to change the display resolution before you activate the s-video output.  I choose this plan using the key FnF7 is quick and easy.

Hotmail also no longer works in firefox, though it's fine in Internet Explorer. (In a moment paranoid, I was afraid that Microsoft was blocking Mozille; but this seems unlikely.) Connections look good: it's just that the browser is no longer implements/displays the text marked in the way I want (and I'm used to) to see. I deleted some code/action unintentionally? If so, how can I return it?

  You can display HTML text using bean RawText. Assign the ViewAttribute value.

  For SQL: I don't think that you should mention html and other optional tags... you can simply use tags as follows:
  SAMPLE TAG*.

  I tested your code using RawText bean... its works fine for me...

  Permission denied is the main reason for the error. As you saw command line as well as executable files are evidence of permission denied for user wccadm. If please check or give higher set of permissions for the executables under u01/app/Middleware/Oracle_ECM1/ILO/linux/lib/contentaccess and test it.

• The stylesheet/CSS with display problem avisports collection site

  Hi guys,.
  
  I (finally) managed to get a version of the management assessment and systems of working capital and also managed to publish the site "avisports" sample that comes with the Download Sites WebCenter.
  
  Only one problem: while the content of the site and pictures to the loading section, there is no CSS style applied to anything.
  
  Something to note:
  
  (1) I tried to repost. That didn't seem to do anything.
  
  (2) two CSS files are referenced in the avisports - 'all.css' and «form.css» homepage When I try to access these files directly, I get a 404 (file not found) error.
  
  
  Any ideas on what could be the cause?

  Looks like the avisports sampling site expects to find these CSS in the form of static files under the Web application, they are not managed as assets within Sites and therefore are not publishable. In an installation of tomcat for example they are found under

  webapps/CS/avisports/CSS/LT7. CSS
  webapps/CS/avisports/CSS/Form.CSS
  webapps/CS/avisports/CSS/All.CSS

  There are 72 files under webapps/cs/avisports, for most of the images, css and javascript. If you copy this avisports file to an equivalent location within the webapp deployed on the instance of delivery, but then the avisports site should find them.

  I provided a Startdate calendar (YYYYMMDD) but it always starts with the current

  I just bought a Macbook of 2016 (El Capitan) and have a Google account.  There are events in my calendar for mac that do not appear on the Google Calendar.  Is there a way to control the initial synchronization to ensure that the timetable for mac replaces Google Calendar?  In other words for one-way synchronization initially?  Thank you!!!

  Thanks for posting here! I see that some events that are on your Mac calendar are not displayed on your google calendar. I know it's important to have all your events calendar in the right place so that they can synchronize with all of your devices.

  It is possible that the events are not displayed on your google calendar are synchronized with another account like iCloud, or serve a local calendar on your Mac. Check out this resource on the application of schedules: the basics of the Mac: calendar keeps your appointments - Apple Support

  On the top left corner of the calendar app, click on "Calendars" to display all the calendars on your Mac, and you can see what the calendar is synchronized.

  

  You can drag the events that are not on Google calendar on the corresponding Google calendar in the left sidebar to move this event to this account.

  I have a Z3 with the latest f/w but I got calendar crashing on me for a year now through different Z3 2 and it has just occurred to me what is the problem.

  When you create an event on the phone, the maximum time of reminder, that you can set is 1 week.  When you create an online event in Google calendar you can set reminders later than 1 week before.  If you create an online event with say a reminder of 2 weeks and then try and change the reminder in the app, the app will crash.

  It is essentially the only way forward when there is a serious bug in an application of Sony. The interest to fix is minimal (see the responses on this thread). Instead of trying to reproduce the bug (it takes 1 minute to do), they ask you to try safe mode, reset your phone, the Voodoo dance around your phone, etc.

  I'm disabling apps Sony one because bugs are never corrected (but apps to get a lot of new intrusive permissions to "improve the experience")...

  I use the default Google Calendar comes with the phone app. When I look at the monthly view, appointment dates are bolded. Is it possible to change to show a different color?

  If not, is there another calendar application, which can be synchronized with my Gmail calendar that will give me more control over the way she looks?

  Bob, there are two calendar applications I used that work very well with Google Calendar and are very customizable.  There is "Calendar Pad" (and the version of tax 'Calendar Pad Pro') and my favorite, "Jorte" (free).  The two have several great widgets that display your calendar on a home screen.  Both will use the colors of your Google Calendar, or you can choose your own.  "Jorte" integrates even with Google tasks.  Good luck.  -MarkC

  I use a HP Photosmart 7515, using Windows 7.  I want to know if the option of the printer Google calendar appears on the calendar printed in the date cell as additional events on this date.  It will print the additional events to the back of the page, but there is no information on the date cell of the printed schedule additional events are listed, so a reader of the calendar does not know that the additional events exist.  The print calendar can show something like "Plus 2", or "More", or some other similar indication that additional events in this date cell are listed on the back?  Thank you.

  RoundyO, unfortunately, you are dealing with a limitation of the software you use is controlled by Google. HP printers only interpret and print information that is sent to them, beyond their software packages do not change the print.
