• The dvd on the s-video output display problem

  I think I am doing something stupid, but I can't understand it.  I used my T40p for many years, inclunding using the vga external display monitors and digital projectors player.  For the first time, I wanted to use it to view DVDs on a TV using the s-video output capacity.

  I activated the s-video and connected to the tv without problem.  My office is correctly displayed on the TV.  However, when I use the dvd playback software to show a dvd, the tv does not display the content.  The content of the dvd shows correctly on the computer screen, but not on the TV screen.  If I use the view "full screen", nothing shows up on the TV.  If I show only the dvd in a window, then everything on the desktop is shown properly on tv, except the dvd window is blank.  Yet once, it appears correctly on the computer screen.

  I have tried various software to media, including intervideo WINDVD and Classic Media Player player.  I tried PAL and NTSC discs.  No difference.

  I think I'm missing something obvious.  Any ideas appreciated.

  T40p 2373-G3U, 1600 MHz, 1 GB RAM, WinXPP SP2.

  OK, I solved this problem myself.  The solution is to use a configuration that uses ONLY the external display.  Apparently if you enable the output s-video, but do not turn OFF the LCD screen, the video card only then produces the dvd on the LCD, not s-video content.

  There are two ways to select the s-video output only.  Go to settings-> control panel-> thinkpad configuration.  In the window of thinkpad configuration, at the top left, there are five buttons to activate different display configurations.  One of them is "tv only".  If you click this button, the LCD of the computer stops, and the s-video output became active.  Showing a dvd in this configuration using intervideo WinDVD or other programs video display shows the contents of the dvd to the TV via the s-video output screen.

  The other way is to implement a model of custom view using the Director of 'presentation', which is accessible from the 'thinkpad configuration' window described above.  It is available under the "view" dropdown  I created a custom method called 'dvd' that automatically sets the external screen in 640 X 480 resolution.  This is consistent with my standard TV ntsc resolution and avoids the need to change the display resolution before you activate the s-video output.  I choose this plan using the key FnF7 is quick and easy.

  Hi, I built a website using Dreamweaver (I'm a complete newb to CSS and HTML, I'm a kiltmaker!). It uses a table layout that will connect eventually to a shopping cart. I'm just working on the html part, and I would include a Flash menu bar. When I add the SWF file, I would like to align with the top of my product images, but unfortunately, ends up looking like this:

  I would really like it if the top of my menu flash would align at the same height as the rest of the images, for example at the same height as "dress sporran" etc so that the design is flush.

  Any ideas on how I could solve this problem would be greatly appreciated!

  Also, I would like that the spacing between the images were not as big table, so that it looks a bit neater, is this easy to do?

  I see you still seem to be placing the menu and products in the structure of the table.  First create an external table which has two cells side by side.  Make sure that the 100% table.  In the left cell of the table, place the Flash menu with its setting valign to the cell.  In the right cell of this place of menu a new table that contains only products.  This approach allows you to remove any dependence on the menu arrangement of the products and vice versa.

  Play with it in a new page of practice... feel free to try different things.  I think it's good for you to gain experience with the handling of the page layout using tables.  That way, if/when you move to the side of the css, you will be able to say why it is preferable (if you do) by personal experience, and not because someone else said it.

  If I insert the code in the html object several times and publish the page, sometimes I get the correct display.

  This seems to be a bug.   I use the beta program, but don't see any indication that I use the new version of cloud, even if I am a subscriber of cloud subscription.   I have adobe muse 4.1.    all my software is installed since my license of cloud.

  I think that I found the problem in Google calendars.    After many many many wasted hours on this.    first Muse, and then finally in Google calendars.    I removed 'birthday and events Contacts.  in my calendar.   I discovered that the calendar worked in muse when I was connected to google calendar, but when I wasn't, the formatting was wrong.   After trying several times and comparing it to two years old web calendar that worked, I removed the 'Anniversary Contacts and events' calendar of my view of the calendar.   He appears in design mode and preview of muse and after publication, it is the display in safari and chrome.   I will continue to follow closely.

  I (finally) managed to get a version of the management assessment and systems of working capital and also managed to publish the site "avisports" sample that comes with the Download Sites WebCenter.
  
  Only one problem: while the content of the site and pictures to the loading section, there is no CSS style applied to anything.
  
  Something to note:
  
  (1) I tried to repost. That didn't seem to do anything.
  
  (2) two CSS files are referenced in the avisports - 'all.css' and «form.css» homepage When I try to access these files directly, I get a 404 (file not found) error.
  
  
  Any ideas on what could be the cause?

  Looks like the avisports sampling site expects to find these CSS in the form of static files under the Web application, they are not managed as assets within Sites and therefore are not publishable. In an installation of tomcat for example they are found under

  webapps/CS/avisports/CSS/LT7. CSS
  webapps/CS/avisports/CSS/Form.CSS
  webapps/CS/avisports/CSS/All.CSS

  There are 72 files under webapps/cs/avisports, for most of the images, css and javascript. If you copy this avisports file to an equivalent location within the webapp deployed on the instance of delivery, but then the avisports site should find them.

  Installer downloaded FP 10.1 for Mac 10.6.x, installed, does not work:

  • When visiting sites that require Flash player, makes me "download flash player.
  • When you visit Adobe trouble shoot site, where it shows the version of the flash game, it displays 'content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player.
  • I.e.HD/library/internet plug-ins/flash player Uninstaller works can be deleted by the uninstaller

  What is a similar case with PC users? If Yes, could someone from Adobe please provide a solution as soon as POSSIBLE?

• CC Flash and google display network "clickTAG"

  I tried to add a "clickTAG" to my announcement in CC Flash files seems to work very well, but google rejects ads as a "format not supported". It seems that Google only accepts SWF files up to 10.1 and the lowest, you can export in CC is 10.3. I downloaded 10.1 Encoder and added to the XML program files but still not not acceptance. My last hope was to open in CS5 CS6 and who should work, but I can't seem to be able to backsave, or I don't know how. Any advice on that? The "clickTAG" that I use is below:

  I had sorted it... Finally. I found a link that explains hpw to add 10.1 but the info was not 100% correct, another guy was entitled to 10.2 so I just went through the code 10.2 with a fine tooth comb and it evolved and it works now.

  For someone who is looking and I'm not a coding person, far from it, that's what I did.

  (1) downloaded the 10.1 playerglobal.swc of Adobe here.

  (2) right click on the mouse (or Ctrl click on mac) on the Flash file and display the contents of the package - and then click content/Common/Configuration/ActionScript 3.0 /.

  (3) create a folder named FP10.1 and drop in the downloaded file (which should be called playerglobal.swc).

  (3) go back to the common folder and go to Configuration/Common/players

  (4) duplication with the FlashPlayer10_3.xml as FlashPlayer10_1.xml and open the file in textedit or another editor you have and change the text to this:

  Flash Player 10.1

  Device Central/adcdl.exe

  Device Central/adcdl

  (5) close and restart flash

  (6) the levy 10.1 in your export settings and it works now.

  Seriously, thanks to everyone who tried to help, Adobe should really fix this because it's a pain for people who are not developers and code is foreign to them.

• Are there tags for the Flash buttons so there navagation for iPad

  Maybe I not looking in the right places, but anyone know of a label or an alt line which can offer the iPad visitors the possibility to navagate a website that uses Flash buttons?  There must be something that can appear instead a button Flash when flash challenged iPads come visit but is not visible if the flash buttons are visible to others. The goal is to find a change in the code rather than review site, by replacing all the buttons, or simply ignore this market growning.

  Perhaps the simplest solution is the one that has been available for years... even this last boom iProduct... before and which is to provide replacement for any Flash content HTML content... made via swfobject, a small Flash detection .js. If Flash is detected... it displays the Flash, otherwise, it displays the HTML content.

  If you don't want to bother making up the overthrow HTML or CSS buttons, open your Flash buttons file .fla and 'Export' (.jgp) image of the Flash buttons... it will be the same size as the .swf... so fits very well. Then place this image in exactly the same

  as the .swf and hotmap nav links directly on the different buttons.

  Who stand up and working first, then if you still want to use Flash, use swbobject to place the .swf in the same

  It seems that your screen displays some graphical anomalies when you connect to your user name. I would use these troubleshooting steps in the following article on the resolution of screens:

  Restart your Mac in safe mode to reset the default display resolution.

  If booting safe mode doesn't resolve the problem, reset your Mac NVRAM and SMC to reset the video ports on your Mac to their default values.

  If you encounter this flicker, then the next troubleshooting step is to restore from a backup. If the behavior persists after the restore, then the last step is the factory restore.   I work for an e-learning company. Today, we have a significant number of users who can play is no longer our Flash tutorial. These users are running the Flash Player version published 22 yesterday, June 16. We can reproduce the problem in IE11, Edge, FireFox and Chrome. Tested OS include Windows 7, 10, and 10 Windows running in a VMware install on a Mac.

  The tutorial plays as expected with Flash Player version 21. With Flash Player version 22, content is not displayed. With Flash Player version 22, we see other Flash content, for example, http://www.timeticker.com.

• Cannot display the Flash content after Norton Utilities scan

  I did a scan of Norton Utilities yesterday, and afterwards various sites Web looked very odd in Firefox. Worse, I've lost the ability to view videos embedded on websites such as the BBC, YouTube, etc.

  Other tests this morning show that the problem is not for ALL video content. There are YouTube videos that I can see perfectly, for example. And while I can't display content in media player on MLB.com , some video on the home page seems to work very well.

  I've updated my Flash plugin to the latest version and Adobe's Web site tells me that it's working properly. Any ideas what could be the cause of the problem? Norton Utilities to remove some files that I really needed? I have read a few replies Forum on other issues that suggest I should disable Norton scans regarding the Firefox folder, and I'll do it - but how to fix the problem, she caused? I tried a restore of the system without result.

  Scans of Norton Utilities tend to cause more problems then they actually solve, so I would never recommend them. Looks like that it damaged your profile Firefox, specifically your cache.   Try this if you do not have

  Windows Explorer to create the folders and shortcuts in your document folder, drag and drop them on your desktop.

  If you have completed the steps and was not even useful,

  Follow these steps:

  Try to create a shortcut and sending it on the desktop.

  (1) open: Start Menu ,.
  (2) right-click: Internet Explorer icon .
  (3) select: send to > desktop (create shortcut).

  There should be a shortcut on the desktop .

  Make sure that the "show desktop icon" has a check against it

  OR

  Just click on the empty part of the desktop, choose new > then select the folder to create. Right click on this folder , select Rename it.

  If the steps above do not work then:

• A1-830 flashing screen between the lines running and display

  Tablet for years.  The display of the A1-830 began yesterday flashes between the display and execution of vertical lines.  When the screen is exposed, it will accept touch and can accept requested measures.  However, cannot work between the flashing vertical lines.  Not verified no update pending.  Tried to find the rogue app, but flashing happening now every two seconds (mounted) and unable to see display for a long time.  At this stage do not know if an another alternative of data factory reset and not even sure if it would solve the problem.  Tablet not recently declined or new applications have been installed before display glitching.  Any help appreciated.

  It seems more a hardware than software problem but a factory reset is always useful to refine the culript.

  You can do the factory reset from recovery instead of the android OS.
