  How the button code is depends on which version of Actionscript using your file.

When you publish your swf file, I also Flash publish an html file (configure you publishing settings).  You can then take this html file and copy the embed code that it contains your page file html web.  You will have to perhaps include a javascript file, as well to make it work, and you can say that looking at the head of the HTML code Flash created... that code head must also go to your page file web html and the javascript file must be placed according to how your html code targets there.

  You might do better just to get the html page that Flash creates working first for you.  He could find how to move into your web page more easy.

  My opinion: the best way to learn Flash for yourself is to simply dig in and keep him home.  You will lose hair, sleep and your mind as you will, but eventually, you get used to that or you defeat.

Obviously, as seen above, I do something wrong, or the Live View does not all the functions that the Design mode allows to.  I know that I can always access Design view in documents non - presentation of the fluid grid and it is my current work around.  I copy my Word file in mode available in non-fluid Design, then copy this code in my grid fluid, not true paper effective use of my time.  And even this workaround may not be available after the next update.

Regarding your problem above, I guess that you are into editing (orange box) and then paste text.

Have you tried to paste the text directly in Live View mode? It does not preserve the formatting of text.

  I have a project named price management Procedures; my opening splash screen says the same thing. The web page header however, policies and procedures. I can't find the document or the setting that gives me this header name, and I want to change it to price management procedures.

  I can't speak for WebHelp Pro specifically, but there are a few places that you can specify the title in the title bar of the browser. One is located in file > project settings, where you enter the title of the project. If this field is not already say "Price management Procedures", modify and generate your output to see if that solves the problem.

  If you use a context-sensitive help, the problem may come from somewhere else, but we will return if the above does not work. Post back and we do know.

  When you posted it should have been a file created html element that includes the code to embed the Flash file in it.  If you look at the html code of the file, it must identify all documents that you need to load on the server.  Look in the head section for any javascript file that you need to charge and in the body of the swf file that you need to charge.  Those who must be the only files except the file swf itself uses data and content files you may have to load as well (xml, images, etc.).

  I intend to use an iframe to refer to a Captivate e-learning module hosted on my remote server in a HTML of Muse. However, I would like to host the files of Captivate module in a subdirectory of the actual website. In doing so, I could keep all the organized files and add several projects on the site. However, you receive an error "file not found (404 error).

  I am able to navigate through the operation of the module of Captivate, but I'm not sure why the file is not found since its uploaded to the server. Does anyone have advice on how to organize the files correctly?

  I heard that a feature of Captivate 5 is that web pages can be incorporated directly into a captivate presentation without having to open the link in a new window outside the presentation.  I was not able to find this information in the new features of release.  Can someone tell me if this is true?  If it is can I be upgrading my Captivate 4 to Captivate 5 in the near future.

  Sorry for all the questions of beginners and if this has been answered before.  Things are progressing well with my project. I met an annoying problem.

  1. my scene size is 800 x 670 mm. There is a button at the top of the scene that plays the animation. This project ('step') is left/right, centered and inserted into a web page about existing 550px or down on the page. When loading the page in the browser you can see the button and the top 150-200 px of the scene. The problem is if you click on the button at the top of the scene of the animation time but you do not see most of it unless you manually scroll down the page until you see the entire scene.  My question is, is it possible I can trigger a "auto scroll" in the browser to center the 'scene' vertically before you start playing?

  2. more than scrolling... on another problem of scrolling, I was able to get scroll bars appear in my pop-up box of animated text, but they are big and bulky compared to the rest of the project. Is it possible to install ONBOARD custom scroll bars?

  I try to add a power point on my site presentation.  I use Dreamweaver for all my editing HTML and web design. I created a password protected page and I downloaded my presentation power point Microsoft sharepoint.  Using the powerpoint Web app I created HTML code and inserted into my Web page.  Initially, I was happy to see that the PowerPoint open correctly using firefox, but when I checked its function in Internet Explore or Chrome I got an error message saying "sorry, something went wrong.  I tried to access this presentation on another PC and Firefox, Internet explorer and chrome all gave the error message.  The only place where this file was successfully opened is on one computer and only with Firefox.  I spent 2 nights speaking with people at Microsoft to try to resolve this and we could not get this to work.  The gentleman who helped me has managed to create an HTML page in its environment and the file open correctly for him.  He asked if it was a problem of Dreamweaver so I came here.  I wonder if it's a Sharpoint authentication problem or would it be a problem of type of HTML file versus PHP? Any help is appreciated.

  Powerrpoint is not standard web media.  So the end-user needs Add-ons to see.  Most of the people do not have them installed and cannot be disturbed for a web site.

  Any chance you can rebuild or export your Powerpoint presentation to static images?  You can then use JavaScript or jQuery to scroll through slides.
