Incorporating the .ttf fonts in Spark TextInput 'invites '?

That's what I have:

Main.MXML:

<fx:Style source="Main.css"/>

<s:TextInput x="72" y="95" focusColor="#CECB02" prompt="E-mail: "

skinClass="components.TextInputSkin"/>

TextInputSkin.mxml:

 <s:RichText id="promptDisplay" includeIn="disabledWithPrompt,normalWithPrompt" x="10" y="7"

color="#666666" fontFamily="Acens" fontSize="15" trackingRight="1"

color.normalWithPrompt="#333333"/>

<s:RichEditableText id="textDisplay" d:userLabel="Text Display" x="10" y="7" width="230"

fontFamily="Acens" fontSize="15" heightInLines="1"

width.normal="282" color.normal="#999999"

tabStops.normal="S0 S50 S100 S150 S200" trackingRight.normal="1"/>

Main.CSS

@font-face
{
    fontFamily
: Acens;
    src
: url("C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\Acens.ttf");
    embedAsCFF
: true;
}

So, the 'promptDisplay' in a computer (online) that does not installed "Acens.ttf" shows that predefined, but the text of the inscription is shown correctly with the embeded font! Any explanation/solution for it!

Thank you ;-)

Is the prompt to set up to show the italic or bold?  If so, you need to incorporate italic or bold version as well.

  • Newbie question of layout - content placement on a wedding invitation and the cursive font problem

    Hello

    I just want to say that I am a complete newbie to InDesign. I literally installed it for the first time ever the other night. I have a subscription to creative cloud for utilities to video editing, but to be responsible for creating a wedding announcement I realized I should give it a go. Can't be THAT hard, right?

    In fact, I managed to squeeze in something that was not half bad (by my standards), but I have two outstanding issues that I couldn't understand so far. In addition, I know really anything about jargon. So please forgive me for my childish descriptions of the things that you guys probably have good words for.

    1. main page layout

    The invitation (the size of the paper) is not a size that exists as a preset. It is 22 cm x 16.4 cm using landscape, and there is a vertical in the center fold, so that it can be folded into a small "magazine." Well, if do you this and count the first page page 1, then everything I do goes to page 3 - the right hand, 'inside '. When I created the document in InDesign, I got the dimensions in there, I said to create a two column layout and tried to imitate the size of the fold (only a few millimetres). On the screen, it looks good, but when I print on my Canon MG8250, whole body text (whether it is all centered, as horrible old Webdesign) is obviously placed too far to the left. The left side of a line of text-based is 1.9 cm on the left side of the page (the fold in the middle of the paper), while the right side of the same text is 3.5 cm on the right side of the page. Another shorter line is 2.7 cm on the left side and 4.4 cm on the right side (all somewhat approximate measures). All the text boxes are made to be the same width as the part "title safe" page (i.e. guidelines rose/mauve InDesign do for me) and the text is centered in their breast. Now, my skills of basic math tells me "How about moving the right margin approximately 0.8 cm to the right - that will do look right!" - However, which is the right way forward on this issue? Someone at - it care to weigh for helping me see the light?

    2 centering of the italic fonts

    Two pieces of text uses a font italic - the names of the bride and groom, and the names of the people that the invitation is for. I liked the look of the police "Künstler Script", so I went with it. However, compared to the rest of the text (which uses by default is Minion Pro for now), the text in italics is not centered at all. Of course, I see the problem of where the 'Center' is in fact, because the base line is a little more to the left of the top letters. As far as I know that a layman is that InDesign and I have very different ideas about this balance actually means. Compared to the other lines of text, the Künstler Script lines seem to be much further to the right. I did another measure. Pixel the most left one line name to pixel more to the left of the next line below, we have 0.7 cm difference (the name being wider line). However, the pixel the rightmost line name compared to the pixel more to the right of the line below is 1.5 cm further to the right. Is it possible this Center in a way which actually makes it appear centered to a human being?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

    And don't forget to leave a margin in the crease. At the present time, after folding, your text will seem a little too far to the left, because there is no space between the frame and the fold, but you do not have an outer margin.

    How much leave can be difficult to decide, according to the case on the right is a virgin or not. You can print a sample on plain paper (select 'Spreads' in the print dialogue box) and add a few toppings brands you can cut it to size and fold it see what he looks like.

  • How to change the color of disabled text in spark TextInput?

    Hi guys,.

    Disabled by default for spark TextInput text color is too light. It is difficult to see. So I want to make it a little dark.

    The s:TextInput is placed inside the mx:Form or s:Group in fact, and I put the container for people with reduced mobility.

    I tried with TextInputSkin, but without success.

    Thanks in advance,

  • HP Laserjet Pro M451dn: Problem on a computer with the printer fonts

    Hello

    We have three computers that seem to be running the same configuration.  The problem occurs with Microsoft Publisher as follows:

    -On both computers, when specific documents are called, they work fine and fine print

    -A computer, when particular documents are called, we get the error: "load fonts - information on the police below shows what fonts are embedded in your publication or are unavailable - Goudy/unknown/not available & Goudy ExraBold/unknown/not available."

    I checked all computers and confirmed that the same TTF are installed, even to copy fonts goudy from one computer to another to ensure that they are the same.

    When I go into one of the computers that work and look at the "commercial fonts" section in Microsoft Publisher, it tells me that:

    Police = Goudy

    font type = printer

    Police source = system

    Police = Goudy ExtraBold

    font type = printer

    police source = system

    I tried to install the latest drivers for the M451dn of Laserjet Pro, but the fonts are not yet available. I have no idea on how printer vs TTF fonts. If it were an FTT, I would simply copy, but I don't know how to fix this computer to access the printer fonts.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Jeff

    > fonts, I'm looking are listed as "Additional PS emulation fonts" for a different model printer.  When a non-PS driver is used, the driver can always access these fonts...

    I don't know for certain, but I guess these "Fonts additional PS emulation" can probably be used only if you are using a PostScript printer driver.

    If you use a printer PCL5 or PCL6 (PCL XL) driver, then these policies probably are not accessible.

    EDIT: I found an online source for one of these PS_12542.ttf (= Goudy) fonts, and it doesn't seem to be a valid TrueType font that (in theory) can probably be used by other pilots.

    But this policy has a "limited" license, which means that it cannot be incorporated in the documents:

    It is possible (probable?-I don't know) that support routines and standard printer drivers that you cannot use this policy as a "source" for temporary downloaded fonts "smoothly."

  • The OpenType fonts appear to be Type 1 fonts

    Whenever I export a document in InDesign to PDF (this has been true through multiple versions of InDesign... now using CC), in the PDF file that created (currently using Acrobat Pro 9.5.5), in the Document properties > fonts... all fonts display an icon for Type 1 fonts, even if all the fonts used are without a doubt, the OpenType fonts. I'm doing something wrong?

    OpenType font files can contain either the contours for TrueType or PostScript fonts.

    OpenType PostScript font files generally have the extension .otf. OpenType TrueType fonts usually have a .ttf extension.

    Once the PDF workflow, what you have is the outlines of fonts, not the font files. Document properties > fonts shows you what kind of shape are incorporated.

  • How can I change the default font of Sticky Notes?

    I want to change the default font of Sticky Notes in Windows 7. As said in the previous thread, I can copy from other software to get it. Point is that when I restart the application or the operating system that it returns in Segoe Print again. Sometimes it is not displayed as Segoe Print at all (especially mixed with other languages). I searched the Internet, told to remove the police to get the modish, he will risk the stability of the BONE or something? What can I do to set up another police? I've heard it can be changed in Windows Vista, is it true? Is there a patch to add or difficulty that is then? Or which will be added in Windows 8?

    You can solve this problem by editing the registry a little more. It's pretty easy.
    1. go to the registry: start-> run-> regedit
    2. go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts
    3 right-click the font that you want to change, and then type the name (the name of the file) of the font you want with the following. (For sticky notes, edit Segoe Print and Segoe Print "BOLD". For example, arialn.ttf and arialnb.ttf for Arial Narrow)
    Reboot your computer, and you should be good to go.
  • By using the google fonts in dreamweaver

    I am new to Dreamweaver so patient with me, I'm sorry.

    I'm editing a Web page which is mainly text, it's a .html file, my boss sent me, he wants the fonts changed to our company policy, Roboto family.

    Roboto is a font of google.  I want to use this and this.  Currently, I'm download the fonts myself in Dreamweaver as .ttf files and then use them to modify the Web page.  I want to do is pull in as Webfonts.  Please let me know if you need more information.

    Additional but less important question: when I use versions .ttf of these fonts which I am responsible in dreamweaver, the correct font only displays in "live" mode but not in "design" mode  Why?

    There is nothing to download.  Just copy & paste the script fonts Google directly in theof your documents.

    Google fonts are hosted on Google's servers.

    https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto+Condensed" rel="stylesheet">

    Add fonts to your CSS code, like this:

    H1 {do-family: "Condensed Roboto", without serif ;}}

  • Why OpenType fonts appears as the Type 1 fonts in the Acrobat font list?

    Update old files from InDesign to the customer. Part of the Task Type 1 (all OfficinaSans) doing a search/replace, replace all the old fonts with OpenType fonts. InDesign does this without problem. BUT! When I export these new files in PDF format and view the list fonts, it always shows OfficinaSans as a Type 1 font. I do something wrong, or I simply cannot understand something fundamental? Either way, I tried not only file > export to a PDF Print... I also printed in a PS file and distilled it. Same result... PDF looks like all Type 1 fonts.

    Using Windows 10... latest updates InDesign and Acrobat.

    Thanks to anyone who can "splain to me!

    What a creation of PDF files, with a few limited exceptions, when they are confronted with the OpenType fonts, these fonts OpenType CFF with contours of curve Bezier path of Type 1 and referring or OpenType TrueType fonts TrueType outlines quadratic curves and allusion, Adobe applications will extract the equivalent TrueType or Type 1 fonts and integrate them as Type 1 or Type 42 (TrueType) fonts in PDF files.

    The general exception only when creating forms, in this case if the font used for the form is in any OpenType format, the complete OpenType fonts will be incorporated. The reasons for this are (a) all the glyphs of the police could potentially be required and (2) fonts full OpenType has measures that are useful or necessary for the correct layout of the input data.

    On the other hand, fully integrating a font OpenType bloats the PDF with more data than necessary to fully and properly render text in the PDF file.

    Note that in OfficinaSans, if the original Type 1 both the police following OpenType CFF have been drawn from Adobe, you will see a difference in the PDF file. The police OpenType version would be named OfficinaSans Std well incorporated as a Type 1 font.

    I hope that you give insight into what's really going on.

  • Is the Calibri font a default font from the system?

    I was invited by a customer to change the font used on their website to Calibri. Is Calibri a police system or do I have to use a time provider?

    I have never been asked to use or never considered using Calibri on a website before, and he does not appear in the list of fonts within DW, so I'm puzzled!

    Thank you.

    No, Calibri is a Win/Mac web safe font.

  • Why Muse does not once (Proxima Nova) when the other versions are installed on my computer? The police also does not appear in the system fonts.

    Hello

    I want to use web fonts Proxima Nova (as woff) in Adobe muse on my site. These fonts are on my computer.

    The otf and ttf files are also installed on my computer, but they do not appear as sytem fonts in Muse.

    When I try to add the web fonts for Muse, it gives an error.

    Can someone tell me how I can get Proxima Nova as a system font in Muse?

    Thank you!

    In the version of June of Muse CC 2015 Typekit fonts have been integrated into the Adobe's Muse.

    Please try following steps to add them to your list of Web fonts.

    1. go into file > add/remove both

    2. Select the tab for typekit and "Proxima Nova" police search

    3. Select all, and then click OK

    4. these fonts will be added to the list of Web fonts.

    You can also check out the link below which has documentation for the same thing.

  • seal the OpenType fonts in a form

    Hi, I'm debugging a problem with a simple form created in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and Adobe Lifecycle Designer ES

    my original form had textfields by using a truetype font and worked well on the original (win7) system and other systems, I copied the form to

    Then, I decided to replace the textfields font an a opentype. (kidscript)... the form works very well on the original system (since the font is installed on this system)

    w7.PNG

    but everywhere I have copy the form, I get a generic font to substitute for my one OTF

    vista.PNG

    and when I look at document properties

    embed.PNG

    I don't know where is the problem?

    the strange thing is that label textfield shows ok but not the textfield itself!

    reading using Acrobat, I noticed

    A font can be embedded only if it contains a parameter by the seller of the police that allows it to be incorporated

    and when I read the license that came with the police,

    You can embed licensed fonts in any document you send to third parties. These documents can be read and printed (but not modified) by the beneficiaries.

    any tips? y at - it a tool that would allow me to review the setting of the indicator on the police to see if it is properly defined to allow incorporation?

    Thanks in advance

    Sam

    It looks like not allowing the police to the editable embedding, which are to be in order so that it can be integrated for use with a machine that does not have the installed font. Microsoft font properties extension displays the authorized type of incorporation, but it seems that you already have this information.

  • Embedded police does not, if the original font is not available.

    I use Macromedia Director MX 2004 version, while I try to embed fonts in 'Insertion, MediaElement, fonts' Director, he was the incorporation and also save the police with the given name and *. while I am runnig that this project to the other system in which the original font is unavailable, embedded police will not charge and the text appears in a default font in system also it shows that this font is missing. Can someone help me on this would be grateful.

  • Where is the minimum font size in Safari Version 10.0 (11602.1.50.0.10)?

    I need to control the font size in Safari. Apple seems to have removed. Does anyone know where the police since the previous version of Safari controls went?

    Minimum font size control has been using Safari... keys to allow the text on the pages to have a readable size.  What is happening with Apple?
