  You cannot change the font size in Windows modern user interface, it's by design. However, you can install a third-party application using your favorite search engine to change the fonts.

  Note: using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

• Fonts from the far East on Vista

  Recently, my hard drive had been decimated by a virus.  I had to replace and re-installed Vista.  I live in Korea and I have Hangul (Korean alphabet) on my computer.  As I came back, I can't the far East fonts on my computer; they are no longer available in my language tag.  I have my language bar upward and I can click back and forth between English and Korean, but in fact type in Hangul isn't even an option.  When I look at the download of far East fonts on any Microsoft website, it seems that the only options are downloading fonts to Word or other programs, but not for the full operating system.

  Man in the shop told me that the second disc of my re-boot Vista did not, perhaps that is the reason?  I can't understand why it worked the virus before, but not now.

  Where are you trying to type in Hangul fonts?

  It seems that the fonts are not installed. You will have to perhaps download and install fonts on your system.

• Calibri fonts mysteriously disappeared!

  I had problems with the sites that have as their default font calibri fonts. Especially my outlook account (but also of craigslist and other).

  I don't see the content that is found in this policy. At present, the only way I can read my e-mail messages is to hit the answer, ctrl A and change the font Arial! I tried to change username on my computer and it still does not work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my browser and it makes no difference either...   Thanks for you replies. I was not able to re install the font - got an error msg saying: the fonts of the WinSxS folder was invalid.

  However, I deleted the calibri police in the folder fonts (and copied to my desktop) and now the default font was changed automatically to another (arial maybe?) - anyway, I am able to see the content of my email so that the problem has been resolved somehow...

  If you know another way to get the police calibri on my computer, please let me know

• How can I change all the fonts in Windows system?

  I read this article about how to change the fonts, but in the SYSTEM.ini and WIN.ini, there are no sections named "windows".  I guess I might have to make one, but then the article says also that the police must be a .fon font.  Is this some sort of font file?  I think that most of the fonts in my folder of fonts opentype, certainly not "fon."  OpenType can be converted into fon?  Or can I just use opentype, or whatever it is?  Also I don't really understand the 'present in the windows\system folder' thing, although I think it simply means that the font file should be there.  I've changed most of the fonts on the appearance tab, but that does not change everything, especially dialog boxes.

  The System.ini file is used only for 16-bit applications, the file system.ini 'old' cards through the registry the following keys which are used for 16-bit applications:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WOW

  and

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\IniFileMapping

  The %systemroot%\system.ini file is kept only for compatibility reasons, for the use of applications of by16 bits that can't read and write in the registry.  There is nothing to change for Windows XP system fonts.

  If you see only the fonts system and no additional (specific program) installed fonts, then you can try the following steps and check.

  Most likely, the fonts are installed on your computer are hidden. Did the same by following these steps.

  Method 1:

  a. open fonts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, appearance and personalization, and then clicking fonts.

  b. now click organize , and then click on folder and search options.

  c. click the display and check to select Show hidden files, folders and drives.

  d. click apply and OK. Check if you see all the fonts.

  (Make sure that show you the files hidden after the repair is done by selecting don't show hidden files, folders and drives.)

  Method 2:

  Try to perform the clean boot procedure and check if it helps.

  My colleague has a Mac and I work under Windows. We both use PS 5.1. Whenever I get a document he PS tell that not all fonts have been found. I'm doing a script that goes through all the textlayers and find these missing fonts.

  My problem:

  The script that loops through all the textlayers, find the font and checks using Application.fonts.getByName () if the police. The problem is that the Application.fonts.getByName () always succeeds and returns the police, even when it is not installed on my system. How is that possible? (When I try with a name completely bogus as "jklm" it will fail as expected)

  (In the future I would like to extend my script, so it can replace these fonts with another font of my choice.)

  The problem is that the fonts in the document are included in app.fonts, even if they are not on your system.

  I don't have CS5 to test and I don't know when the key to necessary action descriptor added so this may not work for you, but it works with Photoshop CC.

Do not have a contract for coverage with Dell. Y ' All are my choices before paying for the repair and answers... I am a 70 year old and not really rich.  Thanks in advance for whatever you can do.

  It's your drive D: Recovery being almost full messages.

  Your recovery Partition was photographed on your hard drive during the production of your computer by the manufacturer for all of these reasons.

  1. to reinstall Vista from in the case of a failure of the system, based on individuals or the keys at startup.

  F10 or Alt + F10 or F11 are a couple of different manufacturers use sequences.

  You will need to ask your manufacturer for proper sequence.

  2. to make the recovery disks on if your drive hard breaks down, so that you can then reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive.

  Also ask them how to make records.

  Your D: Recovery Drive is should not be used for backups, defragmented, etc..

  There are backups on an external hard drive.

  To resolve the problems that have arisen with the recovery D: Partition, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to remove all that has been added to it.

  What is needed here is to make a few changes as part of Foglight UI called Web or WCF component framework. In WCF, a rendering engine is what decides how will be rendered text.

  In short, a different rendering engine with a larger font size will need to be assigned. The necessary

  converters exist probably already; they would have enough to award the details timerage and alarm points.

  Note that changes to WCF requires care - changes to items such as assignments of renderer can have significant consequences. If you are uncomfortable with WCF can you please let me know? I can provide some details for you if this is the case.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
  ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
  contacts data with a pencil eraser.

  Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
  manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.
