Incorrect GUID in migration of accommodation

I move a site from a server Win2k3 running IIS6, CF7 and using a MS Access database to the new hosting provider. I am using their hosting Windows option so I can just put in place the access data source and move the code, but have encountered an error that I couldn't solve after hours of searching on Google. Any help?

Incorrect GUID. in a query expression ' sdate < = # 03/15/2008 # edate AND > = # 03/15/2008 # OR {fn MONTH (sdate)} = 3 AND {fn DAYOFMONTH (sdate)} = 15 AND recur = true'.

I cut out the two halves of the query and managed to isolate until you have something to do with the functions MONTH and DAYOFMONTH. This code works fine on the old server. Looks pretty standard SQL, what the new host would do to cause these error functions?

I don't really know why the {fn syntax was necessary on the original code, but this code is 1996 and I think back then I still need it.} Get rid of this does solve it, but get rid of this changing AND DAYOFMONTH to DATE only seems to have solved the problem. Not sure why the server (which is relatively new) has always supported the old code, but not the new server. Thanks for your help!

  • guide the migration to a new Mac Adobe CC 2015

After reading everything and everywhere. It would be nice if there was a guide 'full' Adobe move to a new Mac (OS10.11.3) CC (probably good for a guy from the window, too), including clouds, apps, library, maybe photo galleries, etc.

OK, I got it, you can not migrate Adobe...  Wonderful.

Do you have an only - allow CC, uninstall, both, or something else?

But when you do a "migration Assistant" you can't choose what applications to transfer and which ones who don't not to transfer. If you could you would get any anyway.. except plists, App Support, preferences, etc.

So when it says you need to 'install' the apps CC, which means to install ABOVE what has been migrated? or just reactivate what has been migrated?

And, if you please. Let someone know the result of the action... Great!, Just OK, or it's a list of what to do after the migration to get all your apps CC, etc operational return.

I would like to know before migration, a bit tells me how much time I have to leave before you start the next project (CC).

Normally with Mac. This is 'drop dead easy', follow your nose... Is equivalent to CC?

    Thanks, Ron

OK, here is what I did... first, trash migration wizard. Back up your old Mac using the carbon copy. Connect this player you new machine. Download all the cc apps that you use from Adobe. Then use backup to recreate the supporting documents. Reauthorize cc... (just start using them to start the activation process.  And all this works pretty well.

Time to get all upward and running depends on all the time it takes to download adobe applications and you get addicted docs at the course.

You can still run the Adobe applications on your old machine under the 30 day trial if if you need something from them, you may not otherwise... As supporting URL, name of user, password, etc for websites Web of DW.

    Good luck..

BTW... Ironically, the woman was similar (not associated with Adobe) problem move his pc. Using pcmover, but that's another story.

  • Switch the disk in servers without losing content

    Hello

Need to change the hardware of server on a couple of servers and wanted to just change disks, and if all goes well he wouldn't be able to start on the new server.
But this isn't the case :(

I took 2 disks (RAID 1) of a UCS B200M3 and put it in a B200M2 UCS, but everything was gone in the disks when I started the server.
There is no policy of scrub applied on any of the servers.

How I did it, was that I've disabled 2 servers, (B200M3 - Windows and B200M2 - ESXi) and separated from Service profile. So I swapped the drives and associated Services profiles again (now: B200M3 - ESXi and B200M2 - Windows)

None of the servers worked when I started again.

If all understand what I tried to do, please help, if there is a way to do this.

    Concerning

    Stig

    Hi Stig,

The reason why you have lost data from your hard drive in because as you move them between a M2 a M3 blade. These blades do not use the same raid controller, so it is expected that you will lose data. Not only that, as explained in the below installation guide raid migration (go to hard drive installation section) between the blades M1, M2 and M3 is not supported. Please let me know if you have any questions.

  • EMU for profiles with RDSH

Currently using management persona horizon for all our redirection/roaming profile, but the need to have a consistency in the desktop profile published and published applications has developed and persona management does not work for the RDSH server.

I read on most of the documentation of UEM9, but maybe I missed it.  Can someone confirm if EMU 9.0 manages the redirection of profile and specifically localappdata roaming so that the profile has published the same for desktop computers and applications?

Yes, EMU offers 1 profile compatible with any version of Windows, physical, VDI and RDSH.

LocalAppData location can also be managed with EMU. EMU does not redirect, but stores the profile on the network and imports part of the profile of the user's session when necessary (for example, to launch the application or connection)

Folder redirection is always necessary for the folders that contain the data of the user as Documents and photos.

Also, check out this guide of migration for Persona to the migration of the EMU.

    https://KB.VMware.com/kb/2118056

This guide will be updated soon, because EMU 9.0 now offers the Folder Redirection as a feature, so you no longer need to depend on the GPO.

Hello, the process would be even just reversed, rather than create vDS and the displacement of a vmnic both.  Do the same thing, create a new set of standard vswitches, create your port-groups and move a vmnic and test connectivity and migrate your virtual machines and move the remaining vmnic.

  • Newbee Goldengate Questions

    Hello

I just watch about GoldenGate to evaluate to see if it will do what we want.  I have read a lot of information but have not fallen on the answers to some basic questions rolling in my head.  Any help would be appreciated. These are real newbie questions so I apologize if seem really Basic...

The prod environment is Oracle CARS 10.2.4 on windows 64.  The new prod environment is Oracle 11.2.0.3 RAC on windows 64.  The test environment used to learn GoldenGate is Oracle 10.2.0.4 (no cars) on windows 64 as a source. It has a copy of the database of operational prod.  The target database is Oracle 11.2.0.3 (no cars) on windows 64.  The target is newly installed with a data base of departure yet created with nothing in it.  The goal is to use GoldenGate as 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.3 upgrade path.

Question 1 - What Versions of GoldenGate?

Of course, we will use windows 64 bit, GoldenGate 11.2.1.0.1, I guess GoldenGate 11.2.1.0.1 - for Oracle 10 g must be installed on the source, and GoldenGate 11.2.1.0.1 - for Oracle 11 g must be installed on the target?  It is this correct?  This seems obvious, but I don't like to assume anything.

Question 2 - capacity replication and extract.

The goal is to replicate the database to 10.2.0.4 on 11.2.0.3 and have an extraction process (probably go) is going to keep the 11.2.0.3 new database, synchronized with the 10.2.0.4.

    Is this possible?

In the test environment, the 11.2.0.3 database is a new database has just grown.  There is not even the 10.2.0.4 patterns or storage spaces.  To replicate, how many the 10.2.0.4 database must be put in place?  I think the storage spaces must be created, and the users who own the schemas must be created, to match what is in the 10.2.0.4 source?

    Question 3 - a good book?

    Question 4 - a good counselor?

Thanks again for any advise you can offer!

Question 1: You're right, well if you have a MOS account, get the latest versions of OGG for your db/OS specific out there, on the site of the Patch.  There is a 11.2.1.0.12 for Oracle 11 g on windows x 64 and 11.2.1.0.4 for Oracle 10 g on Windows x 64.

Question 2: OGG is not a tool for database replication, but DATA replication software.  You must create the target on the 11.2.0.3 objects db yourself, either with EXP/IMP, RMAN restore, etc.  There are suggestions to make a first loading here: http://www.ateam-oracle.com/?s=goldengate+initial+load and using OGG in conjunction with the initial load, you can capture changes to the data (and DDL for Oracle for Oracle, but stick with the basics of DML for now) here on the.  The link above has a guide to migrate too.

Question 3: I happened to have contributed to this, so I'm a little biased, but I don't know there are many others out there: Oracle GoldenGate 11g Handbook: Robert Freeman: 9780071790888: Amazon.com: books

Question 4: Forums like this one and Oracle Learning Library (research on goldengate): Oracle Learning Library (OLL)

This does mean that we cannot export, import in different circles of short 2.3, but we cannot import on short 2.4?

That is right. Studio does not allow importing different versions. Liferay Portal on which is based the Studio imposed this limitation.

You mentioned the doc for the export of the Integrator. What import?

The chapter on 'Import' immediately precedes the chapter on export in the document I have indicated.

My requirement is short 2.3 export and import are short 2.4 UI pages and the code of the etl. The doc what u mentioned pages of user interface that will work for this also and what import in etl?

The information you need will be in the Migration Guide 2.4 when version 2.4 is available. You can view the Guide of Migration 2.3 to get an idea of which may involve a migration.

When you upgrade an integrator, you can often continue to use the existing workspace, so export and import may not be necessary. Existing graphics, however, usually require changes to accommodate or to take advantage of the features that have been added to or changed in the Integrator components. After installing the new version of the Integrator, existing graphics may fail until these changes are implemented.
