  I have an interesting dilemma: I need to increase the partition of several Win2003 Citix VM operating system. I am fully aware of using a "helper" virtual machine to add the OS disk to the and then use diskpart to extend the partition.  However, our Citrix VM use the M: drive lettering for the partition to the OS instead of the default C: drive letters.  After I used my vm "helper" to extend the partition of the OS on the Citrix VM, I start the VM original Citrix and get the following message:

  The logon User Interface DLL M:\windows\system32\ctxgina.dll failed to load.

  It seems that the OS disk is returned to the default C: drive lettering when the disk is handed to the original VM Citrix.  As the map in the file ctxgina.dll is a path on the M: drive, he can obviously find it and so, logon is completely broken.

  Question is to know how to extend the OS disk and keep the M: drive letters.  I believe that I can do this with converter, but wanted to see if anyone had any tips to make this work.

  I accidentally deleted the 5 GB recovery partition on my Satellite Pro A200. I have since recovered (and the data inside) and tried to create my discs of recovery using the "Recovery Disc Creator', but it is to say that it cannot find the recovery partition :(

  Unfortunately, I think you will not be able to fool the recovery tool, if the recovery partition cannot be found.
  You can rename only the partition NTFS FS. This can be done in the disk management console.
  But I don t think this will solve this problem.

  It seems that you have to reinstall the whole OS using the CD of restoration of Toshiba or the original CD of Microsoft Vista

  I messed up my Windows 7 64 bit system desinstalling Ubuntu default (it is a dual boot with GRUB). Now my system will not boot. I have repaired my partition table using Linux tools and therefore can access files on each partition (SYSTEM; WINDOWS and RECOVERY) which was not the case before.
  So, I consider this task fact and ok.

  But I don't know which partition has been marked as boot; hidden or whatever. There are 3 partitions on the first HARD disk that are the SYSTEM; WINDOWS and RESTORE

  -They are all PRIMARY partitions (I think so)?
  -Is the hidden SYSTEM partition?
  -What is the boot (SYSTEM or WINDOWS) partition?

  At that time, when I use the recovery CD, it detects Windows 7 disk D:\ instead of C:\

  Install Ubuntu on your computer as the 2nd operating system, you have moved recovery partition. In General, it is not available more hopefully, you've done a recovery disk before partitioning.   Range partitioning provides a range of values. Therefore, any value greater than the maximum value in your definitions of partition would fail. Thus, for example, 01/01/1988 and would especially error. That's why the range partitioning allows you to specify a 'best' possible values where you say 'lower values (MAXVALUE) '. Therefore, if you had included a partition "emp_maxvalue" by 'lower values (MAXVALUE)' after the partition of 'emp_1987', any value of 1988 or higher would go in the emp_maxvalue partition.

  {Because there is no minvalue specified, a value of, say, 06/01/1979 would go in the score of "emp_1980" as it is "(01/01/1980) below"!}

  Yet once, as the partitioning is a date range, you cannot Add a partition. You need to DIVIDE a partition. For example, if you had a present "emp_maxvalue" partition, in order to create the partition of emp_1988, you would be SPLIT "emp_maxvalue" into two partitions: emp_1988 and emp_maxvalue.
