InDesign CC does not open
I downloaded InDesign CC but get this message when I try to open:
"Cannot launch Adobe InDesign that you do not have sufficient permissions to access the preferences folders. Be sure that you have appropriate permissions and restart Adobe InDesign".
I don't know how to solve this. Please help! I tried to uninstall/reinstall and restart my computer. Successfully, I downloaded Adobe Flash CC before that and opened it without problem.
See replace your preferences to find the TWO folders where are stored the preferences. If you do not know how to view files and folders hidden on your operating system you will have to Google to learn. Once you locate the files, the rest permissions to allow read and write access to everyone.

My InDesign CS6 does not open after expiration of CC 15 day trial.
My InDesign CS6 does not open after expiration of CC 15 day trial. The only option is to subscribe to the CC. I don't want to subscribe, I want to use my copy of the CS6. I uninstalled and reinstalled ~ no still no chance. Anyone know how to open it?
If you have installed cs6 install the subscription, it will capture your license CS6. Common sense would have been to disable CS6 before install CC as CS6 contains its own (and better kind) CS6 software with more upgrades and possibilities than the old version in a box.
If you can not install CS6 with your own serial number for this reason, you will need to contact Adobe to reset the activations.

Why my InDesign application does not open?
Message says to wait, but it never opens. No problem with any other CS programs.
You seem to have a subscription to Photoshop CC otherwise you could not run this application. Maybe you have the plan of photography with Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge CC?
You can go to www.adobe.com. Sign in with your identification code Adobe click on manage my account and it will tell you what type of account you have.
But you seem to not have a subscription to InDesign CC, this is why it is not executed.

Hello
I just run the update to 2015.3 CC Illustrator and Photoshop CC 2015.5. There is no update currently available for Indesign and according to my CC desktop application, Indesign is up-to-date. I use an iMac. InDesign does not open because I ran the update for Illustrator and Photoshop. I don't see how they are related, but this is how it happened. I could open Indesign very well yesterday, but since the update when I select the Indesign icon in my doc, he bounced back to start the update and then nothing. When I opened the window "force quit", it says in red "Indesign is not responding. No idea what to do to solve this problem. Should I uninstall and reinstall Indesign through the creative cloud?
I'd appreciate any help offered.

Just upgraded to Windows 10, now Indesign does not open
As the title suggests, just upgraded to Windows 10, now indesign does not open. It is interesting to other applications CC open, but no indesign. When I try to open from the finder, I get an error indicating that the file ddl virtual studio c ++ 110.dans is missing. I tried all the normal things to make it unmissing, but they do not seem to work.
If I try to open indesign CC, nothing happens. No error, nothing, I'm just pressing an empty button.
Thank you.
Hello, I had actually already tried using the tool unistaller. All uninstalled, then reinstalled, which did NOT work.
I was upgrade to Windows 8.1 for windows 10.
I managed to get InDesign to work as follows:
- Everything uninstalled uninstaller of windows (and not via CC).
- At running the Adobe uninstaller tool (it has not found anything however).
- After I installed CC, I noticed that CC has reinstalled the package to redistribute C++ 2008 I've heard causes problems.
- I uninstalled then manually C++ 2008 package, but left 2012 and 2015.
- Then I installed InDesign. When I installed indesign it installed a few other packages C++, but... Responsible inDesign! Still a bug or 3 but it works at least.
It worked for me.

Updated for Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator 6/18, now nothing does not open: error 16. None of the 16 fixed error using the Adobe PCD folder permissionms and SLS store work. Uninstall and reinstall do not work. Is on the phone with Adobe 5 times since that happened on June 18. Probalby spent 5 hours on the phone with 4 different tech. I'm waiting for a recall, but the guy Adobe told me that it will be 2 days. Other engine have this same problem... everything is resolved? Help!
PS - also made a new user account and tried to open with that, thinking it was a permissions problem. Always error 16. Frustrating... can not work if I don't have the software.
I found a solution on a post in the forum.
Installation of creative application Cloud Desktop caused my PS CS6 and applications of Cloud Photoshop CC go error 16. After trying just about everything, open the Terminal and type:
sudo chmod-r 777 library/Application\ Support / Adobe
instantly solves the problem.
I think I typed in my login pw also when he asked for it.
It worked for me also! After 8 days and 7 hours on the phone with Adobe, it worked. And no thanks Adobe... the tech support people 'high' of my case, but continued in havingme circles try the same thing with the same results: error 16. I was promised a call back 3 times and NEVER RECEIVED a reminder. I used to think strongly about Adobe and I look forward to the new release... no more. It is aggravating and costly for a professional designer go 8 days without being able to use the software, that we rely on. Kudo forum for suggesting a solution that works. Boo to Adobe for not to do so.

InDesign trial download but does not open
Hello.
I have problems to download Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. I'm working on a Windows XP PC, I'm guessing that since 2004. Tried to download Illustrator via the Cloud. Tried to open the program; it loaded for a few minutes and then came up with the following message "this program has encountered a problem and needs to close. We apologize for any inconvenience. »
Then downloaded InDesign without program helping - directly on the site. This also failed. I tried to remove the program and then download it again in a different location, but this did not help. I repeated this process several times, tried several different places, but no luck. The software will actually download, but does not open. When I try to download in the Adobe download window (for the download destination folder options), there is a yellow symbol with an exclamation mark next to "Adobe InDesign" and the file size will be.
I thought there were not enough disk space, but even after that I tried to clear the space program did not open. I'm pretty certain disk space isn't the issue because my computer tells me that I have enough space to download InDesign.
I also read somewhere that the reason why InDesign can not open, this is the printer default may not be connected. I have connected default printer, downloaded the program again and the problem was not corrected.
I have also tried to download Adobe Photoshop and in the destination download folder, the yellow exclamation point symbol options does not appear. However, this program crashes too after I open it. Unlike with InDesign, I get to the system menu of Photoshop, but after a few minutes of loading it comes up with the message: "this program has encountered a problem and needs to close. We apologize for any inconvenience. »
InDesign has warned me that my 30 day trial has expired and I can't download the program again. I would appreciate your help.
Well well, brief and accurate: you do not meet the system requirements, which is your Win XP does not have Service Pack 3 or is otherwise misconfigured. Run Windows Update and install SP3.

Document is crushed in InDesign 5.5 - it does not open
I have a doc that comes crashing my ID5.5. It does not open, ID "not responding" and I have to force quit. I cleaned up the preferences, I tried to open the file on another computer. Nothing works.
I posted the crash report. Can anyone help?
Received. Yes, it won't open for me either. In the InDesign Debug version, it reports things that encourages the idea that the document is simply corrupted:

Surprisingly, I was able to convince him to keep trying... Oddly enough, I had thought bever try exactly this approach, which was to run gdb and force stack frames for «back» (That then, I hope this isn't a violation of the EULA).
I sent you a re-recorded version of the file.
In the future, I would suggest that you keep backups much better... Hope this has been helpful.

I reinstall CS4 after failure of hard drive and everything works - photoshop, Indesign - EXCEPT Acrobat 9 Pro. I am running Yosemite on iMac. I reinstalled Acrobat from the disks, but when I open I get that Word to Acrobat in the finder without other menus - the application does not open. As a first step, I get an error message.
Acrobat has detected there are missing components
Adobe Pdf Finder
Adobe PDF Viewer plug.
What is the cause? If yes where can I get.
I tried to uncheck the boxes, but no difference.
Is this or an activation problem
Thank you
K
Hi Kate,.
Acrobat 9 is not supported on OS of Yosemite.
You could face compatibility problems.

Whenever I try to open a Finder .indd file, it does not open... displays only the following... "the application 'Adobe InDesign CC 2015' is not open more." What a pain.
Any suggestions?
Just applied an InDesign update over the last two days... worked well before that.
Uninstall the update help please.

Try to restore your InDesign preferences:
Garbage, replace, reset or restore the application's preferences
If this does not work, you can use app creative cloud for InDesign to uninstall, and then reinstall it again.

I had to reinstall programs CS4 on my Mac (current Yosemite), and some programs does not, including Photoshop. The icon flashes for a second, but nothing happens. For InDesign, an error message appears, Illustrator seems very well, does not open Acrobat, etc. I had to drag and drop the programs of my backup hard drive because I couldn't drive 2 installer Adobe CDs to work at all. What now?
Hi Chari,
Try to reinstall the programs by using the following links: products CS4 download

Professional Flash cc does not open?
Hello! recently, I went back to flash with an interest in animation and was surprised to see that adobe has changed a lot since I used modified their programs (flash cs5).
I downloaded adobe creative cloud and installed flash professional cc, to the title of a 30 day free trial. creating cloud says flash is up to date.
My question is this: the program does not open! I clicked the loading image appears in the middle of my screen, but then it disappears after loading and nothing else happens. Flash.exe is running in my task manager, but I don't have a window or anything. I've tried everything I can think of and I'm very frustrated about all this!
someone had a similar problem, or is anyone know what I can do to fix this? I prefer not to reinstall because I'm under a deadline, but if I have to I will: S
my computer is Windows 7.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help out me!
suspension av and anti-malware, right-click of your exe and click "Run as Administrator".

Illustrator does not open "an unknown error has occurred (-108)".
I installed Yosemite a few weeks and it took several days to finally get things working again. Everything was fine for awhile, but now Safari try to continually reload pages, Mail crashes when I check new messages (it disappears without warning), Illustrator gives me "unknown error (-108)", just InDesign disappears when I try to start it, Word does not open, preview does not work in the finder. This is a major drawback and makes my pretty useless Mac.
