• Windows 7, normal use - mouse freezes when you move around the screen

  Hi there I use Win7 since the RC1 of scene and found it rock solid, I'm now running Windows 7 Enterprise. I installed it on a Dell XPS 1710 and had few problems so far. When I start my computer and you move the mouse around the screen, the mouse "hangs" for a second or two, then moves, then crashes again. In even the startup sound I is unstable, as are MP3 when I play those. All these things worked * perfectly * until a lock suddenly toward the top of the computer having been on during a few hours, which was a new event. The computer haddnt overheating but since then this nervousness thing that happened.

  What I tried:

  Selective startup, without the elements of startup and services, without change.
  Search for new drivers for my card (Nvidia 7950GTX) gfx, no change.
  Shut down the computer to turn off this device to save power 'allow' in the option of USB hub root

  None of that helped him. The CPU spikes 16% at most when you the mosue blocking, I have a lot of RAM available. Occurs when I use the touchpad as well and even when I'm not running all programs - oh, I have a Microsoft Intelli Mouse 5 button.

• Scrolling AND selecting items in a ListField on the storm?

  I use a ListField to display several items in a list. I also use the touchEvent (TouchEvent message) method to listen to a click (TouchEvent.CLICK). Well, everything seems to work except when I need to scroll through the list. It seems that using the touchEvent method, I can't scroll through the list. If I remove the touchEvent method, scrolling works but I am unable to use the touch interface to select an item in the list by clicking on it.

  Question:

  Is it possible to get both? In other words, can enable scrolling in the ListField AND allow the user to select an item by clicking on it?

  I can't find a simple/direct method to determine the index of the selected item in a list box.

  I feel I'm missing something, but I can't seem to figure out who (if any) returns an index number if you use it with the recall of .onChange for a ListBox control.

  The following code implements that I need, but is not particularly efficient or elegant and can get confused if you introduce multiple lists to check.

  Any suggestions to reproduce this behavior, even with the best code would be appreciated.

  I guess you already tried and the result is 'undefined', the reason is that you have this property

  I'd give you the first selected item, even if you only have a single element selected, for all selected items to loop through all the elements in the selection table.

  not sure if the wonderful guide Peter explains this (explained in the Guide to the tools), but you should read it too, he has tons of info.

• Problem with the selection and transformation of the layers:

  I can't click more freely between the layers in my image. I got my toolbar now to select a layer and then opt to "see the processing of orders. I already tried to reset my preferences, what I should try next? I use the full version of creative cloud on a Mac. Help is very appreciated! Deadline tomorrow afternoon.

  I'm not sure that you understand the problem. Maybe you are looking for the new command in Edit > Transform.

  Red layer: as they appear in (and commit the activation in the options bar)

  Blue layer type: seized and used free Transfrorm (+ validation)

  Layer of green type: seizures and edit > transform > transform again it runs the previous

  

• Why can't I drag stuff around in the preview window?

  Alrighty, so I'm transition from Premiere Pro 2.0 to the latest version with the creative cloud, and I'm having the time more difficult trying to find a function!  I * used * to be able to drag around the Visual elements in the preview window and position them as I am pleased!  But now I can't click and drag anything in the preview window.  Could someone explain this to me?  I can't find answers through the usually reliable Google search!

  Nevermind, I figured it!  Looks like I needed to select the clip that I wanted to move/drag in the timeline itself and then select the effect of 'Request' in the 'Effect Options' window, * then * I was able to drag and move this element as much as I wanted to!  See, I can learn!

• How to drag a shortcut from the taskbar in Windows 7?

  I have already in XP to create a shortcut for a network on the desktop drive and then create an icon with a program icon for the associated drawing letter that drive (e.g., P for projects), F for finance, etc. and to associate this icon with the shortcut.  Then I could drag and drop this shortcut right in the task bar and voila - a big letter indicating the network drive I could then single click on my desired disc.  It's simple, fast and convenient.  Now, in Windows 7, I can't and drag that shortcut on the taskbar.  Anyone know of a workaround?

• replace the missing layer dependencies and components

  How do you replace missing dependencies of layer and the constituent elements in After Effects?  Stupidly, I renamed and reorganized some folders of files in the finder and do not remember what they were called before!  What is someone best solution / "workflow" for when this happens?

  What happened is: I imported a multilayer PSD file in sequels "in the form of composition.  Sometimes the last night, I must have changed the name of one of the folders on my Mac Finder app in the box where I keep my project and my project to lose track of the different LAYERS in my composition originally imported.  I'm explaining it well enough?

  I certainly know how to replace lost images or files, as long as they are not in the form of MODEL.  All suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!

  ANSWER: both pis. This is more a problem in After Effects. I am running after effects CC 2015. All you have to do is:

  1. find your project window. Upstairs in the search bar, type "missing." This will expose all your missing files

  2 see the layers embedded missing, individual in front of you. Select one, one and right click it and choose "replace Footage > File.

  3. now simply point that this layer sup in the sense of its parent (probably a Photoshop file or an Illustrator file in our case here) and After Effects automatically fills all as it should be. This is the part that I pop up. I hesitated to point/replace/recharge an individual layer missing everything a PSD file, fearing that it would, of course, replace ONLY THAT layer with all of the PSD project! But... it seems so far, that is not the case... After Effects seems to be smart to know what I was going to. Rock on!

  This has always been a solution and I didn't have on this subject, or is a new feature, or I just made bad and won't know until he made! I'll post back and confirm that this method does in fact solve my original problem.

• How can I change the color of the layer selected in the layers panel?

  When I select an object in my PS5 image with the selection tool, it is supposed to select the layer in the Panel (automatic selection on). Depending on where in my line of sight the layer in the Panel, the color is so close in contrast with the other layers that I can hardly find than what I chose. Is there a way to change the default color that indicates when a layer is selected? Maybe they need a black line around the selected layer?

• Cannot select items from menu top 25% of the window of the browser most of the time.

  Running Windows 7 Pro, on a new HP Ultrabook (2 months) with FF 15.0.1. Several times, selectable items work not, but usually in the 20-30% of the browser window. With the pointer hovering over selections, it does not change to indicate a selectable element, or if it will allow you to select. It happens on sites such as Yahoo!, HP, etc. He doesn't do it all the time, but I'd say at least 50% of the time, even if you reload the page and allow all sites with NoScript. There is no warning of filtering.
