  I tried the other day, the workaround is to create a new page in the constructor of the page and set it as a copy of another application - options in the first steps of the wizard.

  My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but it is very difficult to find something relevant when you are interested in the function V!
  
  My application consists of a number of different applications APEX that use the same cookie so that you can easily navigate between applications without having to log in again and to keep the same session id. Having separate applications allows to group pages and reuse the code easily.
  
  I have a requirement to be able to write the values stored in the fields in a single application to the database through a process on a page in another application. As a simplified example, that is to create messages and bookmarks of pages to display specific records in the database. The user will navigate through the system and find a record that they are interested, click on a button that displays a page from another application, enter in some details and then save the record in the database.
  
  The application of 'other' page knows the url of page called him, so that he knows also the application id and the page, but he doesn't know what file is being viewed. I can find the application and the page id is the name of the element that stores the primary key. I noticed that the V function also accepts the stream id, so it should be easy to then get the value by V (v_item_name, v_app_id). However it always returns null.
  
  I've simplified this by adding a page on the homepage (32561 application) process to insert a value in a table of test using a process page:

  insert into test values ('#'||V('P1_ID'));

  The result is #41
  So if I go to the page in the other application, I have a page process which is:

  insert into test values ('*'||V('P1_ID',32561));

  The result is *.
  I thought that maybe the other page of the application was ignorant of id flow, in that I spent, but change the above to:

  insert into test values ('*'||V('P1_ID',));

  The result is * 1 (the value of P1_ID in the other application)
  
  I'm doing something wrong? Have I misunderstood how the V function? Or is there another way I can retrieve the value of an element of application in another application?
  
  I am currently in 3.1.2, but I just tried this on apex.oracle.com (3.2) with the same results.

  OK in my case, that it is related to the RAID used on my computer, with which Indesign 11.4.1 problems, known by developers.

  Easy solution: uninstall 11.4.1, install version 11 and install the update to 11.4 and NOT 11.4.1.

  11.4 works well.

  If I understand what you're asking correctly, you have an account segment that is disabled. It does not log for this segment of account if you do a live journal entry but made it through the interface? We found that we need to disable all combinations of code containing this segment accounts for 'block' a disabled in the interface account.

  1. open the dialog box "Edit > spelling > user dictionary.

  3. open the file "MuseLog.txt" from the Documents"" folder.

  I have a scenario and I hope someone can clarify:

  I'm working on a Mac using Adobe Illustrator & Indesign CS4. Whenever I have copy and paste or drag an image in illustrator into Indesign, this particular chart is not editable in InDesign, and it's ok.  I want it like this to the clerk/typists to use in their InDesign files.

  However, on a PC with Vista, when the chart is copied and pasted/dragged from illustrator into indesign, this graph becomes editable using the direct Selection tool in InDesign.  I want to know is if there is a way to disable this option on the PC version as on mac?

  Perhaps the difference lies with the way Illustrator fits images.

  Here, with my trusty CS3 in 'preferences files and Clipboard' (translated from the french), I have the choice of exporting the Clipboard in the format PDF and AICB format.

  If I understand your message, I guess Mac export as a PDF and Vista exports AICB format.

• InDesign crashing while packaging

  Using InDesign CC (2014), it is updated. Yosemite running.

  Trying to package a 36 page file. I tried to save idml and then back to indd, no help. Already trashed my preferences.

  I also returned to a similar file that I packed with success last month, tried again to package it and it also crashed my InDesign.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  I don't recognize the crash, and I'm not that good with blocking of the reports, but I don't see a call to Extensis suitcase, which is always high on my list of suspects. Try to disable the plugin Extensis and see if that helps.

  So, I did some work on JavaFX 2.0 integrating graphics into a program called Max/MSP. It is a kind of Visual language for handling the music. Among it's features is the ability to write your own classes java, extended by the MaxObject class and create the custom components in your Max Patches. I received a MaxObject to launch a JavaFX applications, so I know that this part can be done. Now, I need two programs to talk properly with each other.
  
  So, what I'm looking for is a pretty standard, reliable way to get ApplicationA, i.e. which launches application (and thusly can pass arguments by hand), to be able to transmit information in application B and vice versa. I'm assuming that someone else out there he wanted a JavaFX application to interface with another piece of java code. An Advisor on what should I look for in? Both applications are running on the same computer. And I hope my question is clear decently...

  I would like to try some of the following to refine your question:
  * Put your launch within another thread code to see if that stops the problem of blocking
  * use a random value that is passed to your application instead of 42 so that you can tell if new instances are created, etc.
  call a different method for bang for your second call to the method just separate the flow to isolate your question

  Something like:

  Either way, you mention that you want to use the Singleton pattern. You pretty much are already - the 'instance' is a singleton that gets the value once (when the Application is launched) and is then used in the world. There is nothing real magic of singletons.

  Also, just to let you know the 'main' method in your application of circles is not needed or used. The bang method directly calls the launch. You only need this main method if you want to run the standalone app of circles (which is still useful for testing).
