  My question / problem: the company I have a job publishes a multi-folio-tourguide-app. It is produced with InDesign DPS and the App Builder, published via Folio Producer and should now be sold on iTunes at the Apple iPad, so the publication process leads inevitably to iTunes Connect. We have already launched the multi-folio-app itself as well as a free leaflet as an in-app free and no consumables purchase. The application is now online, downloadable and our first folio works very well - even it stays "waiting for download... I think, the multi-folio-app tells iTunes Connect to get the producer of Folio data, but I don't know the exact details of this operation.

  The next step was to publish a second, in-app purchase price.

  Our efforts were (it might be useful for a solution, I guess):

  -publication of the folio in the producer of Folio (Status: Public - trade).

  -creation of an in-app purchase no consumables to iTunes Connect, using the same ID of product as the producer Folio, folio

  - and tell the download of an update for the entire application, because Apple and Adobe.

  But the folio never appeared in the app. It just the iTunes Connect-menu "Waiting for Upload", as our first, but it will not appear.

  My wisdom as a graphic designer came to an end a long time ago, Apple told us, that they look at these in-app purchases at all and we should ask Adobe for help... and well, aid Services Adobe sent me here.

  So, I would be extremely grateful for any help or lights.

  Please change the settings of your publication publication. (Enable file-> settings-> from the deployment package publication animate, specify the path and the name of the published output and then publish). Go to the specified output location publish and (./publish/oam) you will find the .oam file. This .oam will be your animation which can be used in workflow InDEsign/DPS.

  It is a known problem with smooth scrolling items in the web viewer: Digital Publishing Suite help | DPS Bug Fix Release Notes:

  'Smooth Scrolling in web viewer items are not displayed correctly on the last page if the length of the article of smooth scrolling is not an exact multiple of the height of folio. For example, the last page of an article 1024 x 2000 may be cropped, but a 1024 x 1536 (2 times the height) or 1024 x 2304 (3 times the height) should display fine. The question is particularly common in portrait orientation. One solution is to make the size of the height of page scrolling smooth an exact multiple of the height of folio. Another solution is to use the format to PNG image to scroll smoothly instead of PDF article. »

  If I understand you correctly, the problem could be in the version of the folio safe.

  Check if it is less than 28 and change anything from 28. You can change the version in the foiio generator (folio highlight and select properties).

  [Edit] I had version 27 in my mind as the border, v28 No. But after checking the double, old folios opened on my system, so my opinion are may not be incorrect.

  Hi Tom,

  Unlike the HTTP protocol, there is no standard method to pass the original IP address client to the LDAP directory server.

  DPS can take advantage of the client IP addresses in 2 different ways:

  First of all, you can classify the traffic entering in different "groups" using the "Connection Manager" feature based (amongs others) on the IP address of the client. Then the policies (e.g. target the servers to use, or administrative use limits) are applied based on group menbership.

  Second, you can configure ACIs side DPS, based on client IP addresses: DPS supports similar to ds Crea ACIs, but unlike the ds acis, aci definitions are stored and evaluated on the proxy side. Certain restrictions apply regarding proxy acis, but IP-based acis are supported. The doc is a bit misleading in this sense Siam can be applied to any data view, including the Plains data old LDAP, data views views not only "virtual".

• Is there a place I can go to to search for known issues with the applications made with DPS and the iPhone 6?

  I was wondering if there is a post or a site that lists known issues with products and applications on the iPhone 6.

  There was an application made, and for 3 devices that they all have the same problem where sometimes the app is fully loaded on the iphone 6.

  We tried to republish the content. Discovered that the problem is more than likely a connection slow or weak. I meant also more info on if there is a list of some sort with the known problems with some devices. Thank you much.

  It says that images should not be greater than 1024x1024px but the retina display is 2048x1536px. So, if you want to use images of 1024px they'll appear lo-res on the retina? Is this correct?

  It is an old TechNote that needs to be updated.

  The best way to target the SD and HD (retina) devices is to create folios of 1024 x 768 in PDF image format. See the articles of multi-rendu creation. Another option is to create HD and SD formats, but even if you take this approach, we recommend however stick to documents source 1024 x 768.

  The size of the image, feel free to use for non-interactive images high resolution images. When the articles are created, these images and all other non-interactive page elements are sous-échantillonnées in the article image format: JPG, PNG or PDF.   As the title says I want to put a flash file in my digital Publication.

  I know .swf are not supported. I tried to make it work in edge animate or as a videofile but my Publication will not appear any video if I import a .mov, .mp4 or a .flv. even if the video file is in the same fodler as the .indd file.

  IM all out of luck here. Then, how would I get this thing to work? and why doesn't my video?

• Need help on repeat lines of the table and the subform

  I hope someone can help me find a way to accomplish things with a subform of repeating table in a form I'm building.  I have attached the file here.

  I have a table (AssessChart1Table) set up on pg 7 (analysis) and built in buttons (AddRowAssesChart1 and DeleteRowAssesChart1) so that the user can add or remove rows of additional data according to the needs.

  The problem is that the user enters also cross the line header (AssessChart1HeaderRow1) in this data table.  There are 10 available columns; However, they will have to add more data than that. Therefore, I made a button (AddMoreCourses) for the user to click on to add another instance of the subform table (AssessEvalChart1) and also to cancel adding the subform with this button (UndoAddMoreCourses).

  In addition, I setup that whatever data the user enters in the cell of this table cell (Prog-DeptObjChart1) are automatically transferred to another table (AssessChart2Table), cell (Prog-DeptObjChart2), which is located on the next page (AnalysisCont1).

  All above works very well except that whenever the user presses the button (AddMoreCourses) I don't want it to automatically fill cells of text field that are copied from (AssesChart1HeaderRow3) because I need the user to be able to enter different values rather than add more columns to fit their data.  In addition, I would like that the values of the cells in the left column to repeat well because these values will not change.   Account given what you wrote that you must continue to use InDesign CC 2014 to create folios by using the system you know. You can install InDesign CC 2014 parallel to your version of CC 2015 and keep working until you get used to it.

  LCA is Adobe Content Viewer. You can use it to display a preview of the folios, that you have created in InDesign, and you can share this folio with others. But if you want to create a custom application, you must pay. For example, with a full subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, you can create an unlimited number of simple editing applications. Single edition include only a folio and they work on the iPad. To create other types of applications that run on different platforms, you subscription DPS Pro or business.
