  My question / problem: the company I have a job publishes a multi-folio-tourguide-app. It is produced with InDesign DPS and the App Builder, published via Folio Producer and should now be sold on iTunes at the Apple iPad, so the publication process leads inevitably to iTunes Connect. We have already launched the multi-folio-app itself as well as a free leaflet as an in-app free and no consumables purchase. The application is now online, downloadable and our first folio works very well - even it stays "waiting for download... I think, the multi-folio-app tells iTunes Connect to get the producer of Folio data, but I don't know the exact details of this operation.

  The next step was to publish a second, in-app purchase price.

  Our efforts were (it might be useful for a solution, I guess):

  -publication of the folio in the producer of Folio (Status: Public - trade).

  -creation of an in-app purchase no consumables to iTunes Connect, using the same ID of product as the producer Folio, folio

  - and tell the download of an update for the entire application, because Apple and Adobe.

  But the folio never appeared in the app. It just the iTunes Connect-menu "Waiting for Upload", as our first, but it will not appear.

  My wisdom as a graphic designer came to an end a long time ago, Apple told us, that they look at these in-app purchases at all and we should ask Adobe for help... and well, aid Services Adobe sent me here.

  So, I would be extremely grateful for any help or lights.

  Is it possible to create a folio / application and deploy it in multiple (stand-alone) iPads WITHOUT having to download on Apple's App Store using InDesign / DPS?

  Scenario / content:

  I would like to create a photo album sheet and deploy in a single iPad. I would then like to offer this service as part of my business and deploy several iPads (if needed) without having to download it via the Apple App Store.

  Any thoughts on if this is possible and if yes, how, would be much appreciated.

  1. You must submit the app to apple and will be available in the app store.
  2. You can create a .ipa and sync it to the device that is listed (in your apple developer account) for testing.
  3. You can share your folio with all those who have access to the content viewer using adobe ID on their iPad.

  Other than that if you want to sell your application without submitting it to apple is not possible.

  I downloaded 3 Adobe applications to work on the outside of the school when I have to finish assignments on the outside, but the first time I installed Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, I was told to reinstall the application.   I try to use the generator in Folio in InDesign CS6 but it says when I access the Panel updates are necessary.   You can try for free the application Adobe "Edge" free download from Adobe Labs, which is a HTML5 or Hype timeline animation tool (mac only, look for the Mac App Store)

  These tools allow you to create fantastic animations and then import them into indesign. Hype is not import video, not sure about edge.

  If I understand you correctly, the problem could be in the version of the folio safe.

  Check if it is less than 28 and change anything from 28. You can change the version in the foiio generator (folio highlight and select properties).

  [Edit] I had version 27 in my mind as the border, v28 No. But after checking the double, old folios opened on my system, so my opinion are may not be incorrect.

• Adobe CS5 DPS plug in question

  I just downloaded the Digital Publishing Suite for Adobe Indesign CS5 and I have a few problems to work with the Overlay and Folio Builder creator tools.

  The problem with the creator of the Overlay is the Pan and Zoom function. I managed to put a text frame with, in a setting (trying to create content drop down) but when I go to the Pan tool and Zoom, I have no option available. All I get is "select crop image frame is the display area in which the Image pans. I chose both the text and the image containing it (even selecting them separately) but there is still no future option of this feature.

  Next is the Folio Builder. I tried to sign in with my Adobe ID, but I always get the error log.

  Is this Plug in still support CS5 or I do something wrong?

  CS5 is not supported for DPS. You¹ll have CS6 or creative cloud.

• Place a .oam on board animate in InDesign DPS

  I try to add a short animated infographic that I produced inside Adobe Edge animate in Adobe InDesign DPS document 2014 2014. I want the background to be transparent when I export dashboard animate so I put my step to an alpha of 0%, and when I put my settings I make sure it is set to transparent publication. Then I place the .oam file in the document dps and I put it to AutoPlay with de.125 delay and with an invisible background. When I go to display it in the content viewer animation produced a black background behind the objects in the animation... Any better ideas how to configure? publication settings? settings in the file? implementation DPS? I am open to all ideas! Thank you.

  Instead of reinstalling, choose the option to upgrade this software under license.  You want then enter the Adobe ID associated with your subscription.

  2015 inDesign only supports DPS 2015, not the earlier version of the DPS. To use DPS with the Folio Builder Panel, you must run 2014 CC InDesign, InDesign CC or InDesign CS6. You can run multiple versions of InDesign on the same machine.
