  I have created a few articles and some material on Compendium projects. However, when I go to the products tab, then click on "Manage content", then browse and click on delete once I have selected the expected content, I get https://app.compendium.com/web/undefined and a message saying "page that you attempted to access was not found. Sometimes when I want to take down any content.

  Anyone encountered this problem before or know something to remove content?

  PS Oracle Support unfortunately is not an option.

  1. , We want to update our application previously added with DPS2015. That's why we want to use previously published issues with abilities and older menu selection because they were ready for it. If we bring a folio released with an earlier version of DPS in an application with DPS 2015-> can I use this content with Dps menu old version (including menu content, birds eye view etc.)
  2. is there a way to delete the content within an application made with new DP? I'm removing the application itself to remove content to open up more space in the ability of my ipad.
  3. The library made with DPS 2015 Audi app? If yes how to do a style of menu similar to that one? and if not is there a way?

  Hi Ediz,

  1. you can activate the page go to your migrated folios, and is the interface in DPS2015 we have which replaces the table of contents and the view from the Clothesline.

  2. we automatically manage storage of the device and purge older articles read as long as it is necessary to free up space.

  3. I don't think that audi still uses DPS 2015. They are always on the previous version of the DPS and used a showcase custom HTML to implement their user interface.

• To remove content outside a zone

  I struggled to get rid of the content outside of an area, for example: http://prntscr.com/bchn4c.  I want to remove the part of the shadow with the red X.  For some reason when I try to use the intersect tool, it instead removes the shadow and the circle (I alt + click the intersect).  If I use alt + click to use the intersect tool, he would say: "the filter yielded no results.  Please select two paths that overlap.  Is there another way to solve this problem?  Thank you.  In addition, for the shadow I used the gradient tool (if that helps).

  Looks like the circle that you were trying to use as the clipping mask was not in front of all. On your screenshot, it seems that your mixture is at the front.

  1. Select your red circle and copy (Ctrl C)
  2. Select the entire document (A command)
  3. Group selected items (Ctrl-G)
  4. With all this that still selected, paste your circle in front (Ctrl F)
  5. Select the entire document (A command)
  6. Now, go to the menu object > clipping mask > make.

  It should work.

• Impossible to install InDesign once removed from the computer

  Hi Indesign users,.

  Here are some technical details:

  1 MacMini 3.1, 6 GB RAM, OS X 10.9

  2 adobe CC - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

  3 inDesign has worked flawlessly until this morning.

  4. no update yesterday (Saturday, 30 November) and today (December 1)

  5. no fonts installed in between.

  What I did:

  This morning (1 December), I tried to open an InDesign file to check if my coworker has completed the project. The file is hosted on Dropbox in a folder that we share. Therefore, I did what I always do with any of my files IND: double-click it to open it. It has the file open, showed me a white screen with all the menus and tools of InDesign. And it was like that for several minutes until I decided to force IND quit smoking.

  Then I tried again simply open the IND software. IND began to gave me an error like: IND is blocking down a serious error...

  I turned off the computer, and he did it again. InDesign has the file open correctly, but I can't do anything: no no scrolling, no navigation between pages, nothing. He froze showing me a cursor circle Rainbow for the minutes. So, I decide, once again, to force the software to close. I can't open InDesign at all after that. The same serious error message is shown.

  I have delete all kinds of files based on things I've read on the forum: caches, workplaces etc. Nothing has worked.

  As I had enough of these errors I lived several months ago I decide to completeely remove the InDesign in the hope that I can reinstall it again once, clean without errors.

  I remove all instances where InDesign may be present. At least, I think that in this way.

  I shut down the computer and open it there even once, is went to Creative Cloud Desktop Manager and when I tried to choose install InDesign, surprise. The Manager is shopwing that InDesign is up-to-date. I can't install it.

  Help, please.

  I did a full instalation of my MAC, about a month ago just to get rid of these errors of InDesign. I had enough of it. I don't want to reinstall my MAC from scratch just because that damn application.

  P.S. I just read something on an old post. In this case I agree, there is a file with the extension: *.idlk that's why I can't open the InDesign file? What to do in the future when I see files like that? In any case, it is now unimportant because it won't save me from missing installation option for InDesign.

  You will probably need to run the cleanup tool now since you do not use the uninstall program to remove the program. See CS for installation problems cleaning tool | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3

• Typekit fonts do not display in iPad app DPS (created by Indesign) in Web content (leading edge)

  I think I tried every permutation to make this work, but probably miss me something.

  I'm creating a single application iPad DPS with InDesign, and I use a Typekit font throughout.  So far so good.

  I created a project to animate Dashboard using the same Typekit fonts.  In preview mode, this makes it very well.

  However, when I place the project dashboard animate in a frame in InDesign and use the Web Content Overlay Folio (I have use the .oam file or directly link output .html published by Animate), Typekit fonts will not appear in the dashboard part animate DPS app and use instead a rescue police.

  Can anyone suggest a way to make edge Typekit fonts animate the work when they are incorporated into a DPS app?  (For what it's worth, I have the same problem when the incorporation of output html of tumult Hype, it seems unlikely that this is a problem with edge animate at all and probably more to do with something in the way that the DPS application deals with embedded html content has.)

  Unfortunately Typekit fonts don't lend themselves well to borad distrubition you must define on site that the police is broadcast. For example, I want my fonts for display on www.mysite.com--je must go to Typekit and explicitly define www.mysite.com in the list of allowed sites, otherwise the police appears. It is a requirement on the side of Typekit so people can tear off the embed of someone other site code and use it on their own.

  As your digital publication does not have a site that can be defined, your fonts will not be shown by the use of HTML content incorporated (including Animate) with DPS. Typekit Fonts of office work as expected because they get shipped with the release with another Office font you use.

  Now if you are uncomfortable with using online-only, you could find a suitable replacement using Edge Web fonts that don't require site definition. If you have a police office that you want to use WITH the EULA, suitable for web use, you can use a web font generating service as FontSquirrel and incorporate locally with Animate.

  The best thing you can do is to just use the Google query methods to remove the content.
  If you believe that the content violates privacy and which is somehow urgent then ask for an urgent withdrawal:

  If it is not urgent then there will be a link on this page to ask the same thing.

  You did the messages on a public site on the internet, google came along and copied this public content, which they have the right to do so. He is not really concerned to Oracle if you decide that the information should be deleted. Of course, if you have saved personal data such as names, address, credit card details etc then Oracle will be very happy to change/delete the details of their own forum (they have before, I know) and don't know if this information is to exist on Google, then maybe Oracle will help you out (Justin will be able to give a definitive answer) by requesting the removal of google if google cache links are given , but I don't think they have.

  All forums (as well as any Web site) on the internet get indexed by search engines. That's what makes search engines, a powerful and popular method of finding information and what the internet is all about (shame some people with questions do not use everything first before posting ;)). • How can I get Indesign Table of contents gap filler?

  I will have no problem getting my table of contents to come out exactly as I expect to see - BUT -

  How can I get periods just to fill the space between the word/chapter title and page number?

  All the tutorials I see show them already in place. Mine come out blank or if I place in the model, it comes out with just how much I place - not plus-pas less. The chapter titles are words of different length and I want to the table of contents to finish in two columns justified.

  If you want the traditional Chief, open your box of paragraph TOC style dialogueOptions legends and move on to the screen. This is when you set the position of the tab and the leader.

  I prefer to use the underline myself.  Note that the field Style drop-down menu beside where you have your ^ t.?  In this area, select 'New Style' (in CS4, for earlier versions, you must exit the dialog Table of contents and first to define the character style) and create a style of character called underlined tab or something equally as descriptive. The only attribute of the style should add the underline. In the example below, I put the underscore for pt.5 Japanese points which are faces that the leader is created with a period or style of ordinary dotted outline. Ihaven can't included any offset, underscore appears on the baseline. You can change what you want, make sure the check box is on, not gray.

  

  Another thing that I would change, if you use the feature of underscores, is to replace your tab (which is a fixed position) with a tabulation of withdrawal right (metacharacter is ^, but you can select it from the drop-down list). A tabulation of withdrawal right is always on the far right in a column, even if you change the column width to a later date. Ordinary tabs do not move if you change the column. Using this method you would not a tab located in the paragraph style.

  Try to export the file as IDML. This can remove minor corruption.

  If the InDesign open from the IDML file has the same way, and then create a new document of the same size as the old, use move Pages to get all the pages in the new document, and then re-create the problem spread.
