  I'm not very good with the understanding of gradients but it's like the gradient acts as a mask over the scene and if you draw the ellipse has a solid uniform color

  Is it possible to create a mixture using the mixing tool with one of the objects to mix transparency (with no fill or a diagram)? If not, could someone please suggest an alternative? I know that I can do something quite similar to gradients, but I really like the mixture control level provides.

  I use Fireworks CS4. I have to remove music stave logo on the left of this image in the header, but it's over the gradient fill.

  

  I have no access to the original images. I thought that I could do with the stamp tool, but I can't get the colors to match. Can anyone help?

  In fact, I don't know why I don't think first of this approach:

  1. With the selection tool, select an area of the gradient to be your "source of duplication."
  2. Copy (command-C) and paste (command-V) as the selection of a new bitmap.
  3. Use the arrow keys to position the image horizontally and vertically, following the angle of the gradient. (Hold SHIFT to move larger increments.)
  4. Copy the 'clone' and reposition to cover more of the undesirable object. And keep repeating.

  It's just a start, but it should get you close. You will probably need to clone at least one more large surface and can try feathered or masking, as well. In addition, to better see how the clone is blending with the background image, choose View > hide edges. (This disables the blue border around the selected object.)

  I need help. My task sounds simple enough but do not know how to accomplish it.

  I created the following path in Illustrator (see image - the top one). Actually, it is a graph of the lower third.

  I managed to importating in .ai. However, should I use a solid or a layer of shape or it doesn't matter?

  I can add a stroke that affects the color and the thickness of the outlines OK.

  However, I can't understand how to add a gradient fill, or one that is 50% transparent? Can anyone help?

  Oh... I will mention that I use After Effects CS3.

  Looks like you're a real novice in Illustrator. I create the entire work in Illustrator and import the AI as a composition. Put each item on a separate layer.

  Take your form and complete with a gradient. Check the appearance and adjust the opacity. Duplicate the shape and caress the first Folio and remove the gradient. Adjust the opacity of the stroke (if you wish) using appearance.

  If you don't know how to make this go a Google search for Assembly of the Illustrator Gradients. You can take a look at this Basic Intro to the Illustrator Gradients to Layers Magazine.

  I use XTags to build a document in ID, but for some reason any all my gradients have an angle of 0 degrees, and they all need changing at 90deg.

  Can I change a single box with success, so I don't know the line of the 'hard core' script works. My problem is finding a loop that does the job. The results are erratic. If the boxes with fillings are part of a group, that they do not change. If I unlink everything (I don't want to do that every group is the image of the product, description, price and need to go together), then a change is coming - but although the gradient box shows 90deg, boxes of all watch them to be filled with solid red (instead of red light dark as it should).

  It's the kind of thing that I play:

  To reach the items grouped, you can use "all elements of the page and filter from there." Something like:

  I have a bubble with a series of simple bubble chart. Each graphic element fill is determined by a fill feature. Initially, this function of fill will fill all elements of graphic with gradient of colors yellow, red and green. As soon as I select an item in the data grid, that I have a function which corresponds to one of the graphic element. Here in this function when an item is selected, I'm changing the fill of graph items by using the property item.fill to a solid color (who initially had a color gradient) and keep the rest of the same graph. So I called the method invaliedseriesstyles on the card that will redraw the map. After the realignment of the graph, I found that the other elements of graph has also changed their solid color fills where I expect only the selected chart element to change the gradient of solid color. Please let me know how to remedy this situation.

  As a variant of the solution is to create an itemRenderer for the selected drawing element using another style.

  Fill in the property if the series is applied to all items.

  In your rendering engine, so you can choose the style of filling based on data and define a special property for the data to distinguish it from the others.

• Left click and double tapping with touchpad does not.

  has been using my computer earlier and left click (with the click button) and clicking on double tapping with the touchpad its self gradually ceased to work in the course of half an hour or two.  I did a system before the problem happened and check the drivers but everything is perfect.  I have a mouse and left-click on it works.  I'm really just ideas on how to fix this problem if any help would be great.

  P.S. If you have any help please try to be specific I'm not terribly good at working with computers.

  You may have a hardware problem and need a good computer shop (no leeks and peaks at)
  a Best Buy or a big box store) or the technical support of the system manufacturer.

  Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touch pad-
  The driver tab - click on Update Driver (which is may not make anything like MS is far behind certifying)
  (drivers), now right CLICK on the touchpad and UNINSTALL.

  Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in).
  RESET

  This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB.

  Here is the similar procedure in XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific
  device if present.

  Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers to install or reinstall.

  Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

  make your object with two fillings in the appearance palette.

  give the upper fill opacity to 0%.

  Apply an outer glow for the background fill.

  Select the object in the appearance palette (i.e. the entire object is selected, not one of its individual fillings).

  in the transparency palette, check the piercing group.

  The code is not in the head section, but in the body section. Try to paste the code in the html body and test it again. Sick it works. I couldn't make it work for rectangle with image fill, but it works for images.

  That's two shots, the one of them compensate for slightly (effect > path). I just got rid of filling completely. Double click on 'Print' and trash filling it.
