  Your device is too recent to run on PSE11. You must upgrade to PSE13, then use the menu help/update to be able to use the version 9 of the cab.

  Raw files from Canon 5 d mark III would not be supported in Lightroom 3.

  You need at least version 4.1 of Lightroom to access there raw files.

  You can either upgrade the version of Lightroom to a newer version or you can install for free DBG Converter to convert raw to DNG files and access then in Lightroom.

  Choose the correct lens manually, then click on "Save new lens default profile is the" configuration of the menu drop down. LR should hold the lens and use it as the default in the future. See screenshot below

  I was testing my newly purchased (August 5, 2014) Canon 6 d camera shooting through the window of a car in motion and also to wander. I used the setting scene Intelligence automatic, shooting in single shot mode and burst mode. I used the kit lens Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 for the 6 d. I use LR 5.6 CC to download the CR2 files in a catalog. Before you download, I check the images to preview the camera 6 d and all feature the exact pictures - color and image look. However, when you use LR, because I'm downloading the CR2s or convert to DNG for my LR catalog, I noticed on the miniature Strip changes some of the images that are imported into inches showing shifts of color and blank white areas. After that LR has treated images as DNG or CR2s the transformed is now resemble these corrupt inches. Many images came out with sections of each image showing a rectangular area of the negative image (i.g. that the sky was purple, the orange trees, etc.) Also two of the white images expect for the a quarter circle of color distorted and negative imagery.

  

  

  When I try the software download from Canon, pictures are accurate, so I know card memory of the camera and, without doubt, the camera are not at fault. Any suggestions as to why I can experience this problem and how to solve?

  This only applies for the thumbnails? CR2 or DNG files look OK after using development settings? You create previews or standard full-size import? Have you tried to apply an import defined by default as your starting point?

  I can locate is no longer the installation disc for my my old Canon Pixma iP 2600 printer.  I am able to install it w / add it as a printer in the Control Panel, but the Office feature fails to read that the printer is connected via the usb cord.  I'm not find no possibility to install it as a usb printer.  Please help as soon as possible.  I can't afford to replace the printer and I have several documents that I need to print today or early tomorrow, or there will be dire financial complications for me.  I NEVER had that problem w/Dell.  (the operating system is windows 7, which is exactly what I was running on my old dell model - I searched this forum and find a similar question, but that the consultant has been able to find a usb option in the drop down menu to the port facility.)  that option is absent in my attempts).

  Interestingly, I discovered (after wasting a ton of time online and on the phone w/less useful HP tech) that the problem was in the two faulty usb ports on the front of this new processor.  at this point, I plan to return to the model of costco and return to dell.  Thank you for your help.

• I have problems to load Windows 7 driver for Canoscan 4200f Canon's site

  I downloaded the driver from Canon site which has been saved in a folder 4200fvst8611a_xpen. In this folder, it created a file called Set Up SG that is a .exe file.  When I open this file, it passes by Winzip Self-Extractor as Canon ScanGear CS 8.6.1a_xp Set Up and then nothing happens.  Cannon suggested that the I need to find where the computer stores the extracted file, and then run it form there.  I did a search of system using "Canon ScanGear" but it is empty.  WinZip Self-Extractor stores files in a fixed location?  Any other ideas of what I could do wrong?

  You are looking for something that does not exist.

  Run the 4200fvst8611a_xpen.exe of origin file installs the scanner, including scangear driver. ScanGear is not a stand-alone program, it is only open during the process of acquiring some program graphics you scan in. Assuming that you have installed the Canoscan Toolbox, you can also open Scangear from there by checking the box labeled "Use the driver scanner to make advanced adjustments". Otherwise, you never see the scangear interface and it was just a quick scan using the settings for any Toolbox button you have chosen. Scangear advanced mode, you can change various preferences including whether it closes automatically after each scan.

  It was stated that support for your camera is included in the final version of Camera Raw 8.7. The camera is not supported in the 8.7 RC which is available now. But the release candidate is never compatible with Photoshop Elements. Support is coming, but just be patient.

  These days I record a lot of my vinyl at the hearing, some for CD burning, some store in files. I like hearing, but one thing I find annoying and, if all goes well, there is a way to do better is that burn a CD or for export to files between each marker, I must address the beaches. This takes extra time and is unnecessary since the end of a range is the beginning of the next marker. However, at least for burning a CD, if I put the lines, it will burn the entire album with a track. Is it possible to simply place the markers and hearing recognized the fork between each marker automatically instead of having to manually set the beaches? It seems pointless for me like that.

  This could be the case for you, but it is not necessarily for everyone. I, for example, changed lengths of inter-piste silence on a couple of CD test, and you could not simply do it without being able to define the periods of track regardless. But anyway, I am not sure what your problem is - everything you need to do is put a mark where you want that each track to start and the other at the end call button 'merge' and they all became will instantly. The additional time required to do this, compared to how long it will take to burn the CD in any case, is quite minimal.
