Insert table scripts are stored in an oracle table?
Hello world! Are the scripts insert to a table that is stored in an oracle table?
I mean, as in Toad, we do a right click on the table and create scripts insert for all lines. So can I directly go to this table (if they're stored anywhere) and look!
Thank you
NO, there is no place where that is stored. What the TOAD is to generate them on the fly, as it did for GVR.
Imagine store each insert statement for each table in the database, which take a lot of space.

display in which sql all scripts are stored
Hello guys,.
I am an Oracle DBA (cooler in the field). I want to know in what a view or table the sql queries are stored as I have a performance problem. I want to know what sql scripts are afffecting the most time to execute that in turn affects the overall performance of the database. I'm working on oracle 10g.I'm not sure I quite understand your question, but you might want to check the following views:
v$ sql
v$ sqltext(These views are owned by the SYS schema)

Manager where do Calc scripts are stored?
Hello
I had a planning application that I want to rename.
So, after you copy the old to the new, I deleted the old,
Unfortunately, I forgot to save my work at calc Manager.
I realized that after I get an error in the workspace
Calc Manager: failed to process the request.
The session is not authenticated.
But when I go to GestionnaireCalc, the application is missing.
Can you help me looking for my Bishop calc scripts where they still exist?
Thank you
Nikos
Manager of calculation rules are stored in the table CALCMGRRULES of the RDM and BODY field if the type is a BLOB.
If the rules have been made to the planning application, they will be also in the HSP_CALC_MGR_RULES table and field BODY which will take place in XML format.
See you soon

When indexes are stored in the Oracle?
I just read that "the index blocks have been already in memory. Can someone explain this please? I thought that the indexes are waiting in the data file?
In other words, I'm learning the location of index.
Thanks for your help.

Introduction to computing systems 101: (in other words, really, really basic and nothing to do with Oracle, or any other application)
The data are stored on a physical medium, such as disk or tape.
Data cannot be used (acted on, analyzed, etc.) until it is in memory.
For Oracle, this means a block of data (and an index is simply a particular piece of data) must be read (disk) storage and placed in memory (buffer) before it can be used for anything.
When you say "data cannot be used (acted on, analyzed, etc.) until it is in the memory." Then, please correct me if I'm wrong, the first operating system or get the expected data from disk to memory, then these data are used in memory.
Is there any document relating to this information.
Thank you for your remarkable knowledge.
Do you want to confirm? You know, it would be far too costly to try to read the disc things and process. That's why Oracle would bring the contents of the disc in its structure of memory (buffer cache) before he would let you access and process them.

Given Oracle Spatial are stored in the database tables?
Given Oracle Spatial are stored in the database tables?Oracle spatial is DBMS oracle server functionality. It allows you in NATIVE mode, store and manage all standard types of spatial data and their attributes and metadata in the oracle database enterprise, in the way that you are quite familiar with. on top of standard oracle database features, adds types of geographic data, spatial index, geometric operators and queries, functions, spatial and analytical, to name a few.
MapViewer is a feature of Oracle Fusion Middleware, which makes cards using spatial data managed by Oracle Spatial. That's what you called "generator of maps. but of course, it's not just a map generator, he has much more to offer, such as MapBuilder, WMS, Oracle cards.

Insert table with stored procedure
Hello
is it possible to use bind insert table in odp.net that calls a stored procedure, or who loses the point of contact of the table?
I need to do at once two insertions in a parent table and the child table (get the primary key generated by a sequence in the first table.). Don't know if this can be done without storing seq.next_val somehow?
Edit: I will extend the question and ask if the table bind sql text can be a block anonymous plsql
Edited by: KarlTrumstedt 16-jun-2010 02:49You can do both. You can table insert a stored procedure and an anonymous block.
Here's how (these are based on the ArrayBind example provided with the installation of ODP.net/ODT.
Installation program:
create table zdept (deptno number, deptname varchar2(50), loc varchar2(50)); CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE ZZZ (p_deptno in number, p_deptname in varchar2, p_loc in varchar2) AS begin insert into zdept values(p_deptno , p_deptname || ' ' || p_deptname, p_loc ); end zzz; /** drop table zdept ; drop procedure ZZZ ; **/
table and link it to the stored procedure call:
static void Main(string[] args) { // Connect string connectStr = "User Id=;Password=;Data Source="; // Setup the Tables for sample Setup(connectStr); // Initialize array of data int[] myArrayDeptNo = new int[3]{1, 2, 3}; String[] myArrayDeptName = {"Dev", "QA", "Facility"}; String[] myArrayDeptLoc = {"New York", "Maryland", "Texas"}; OracleConnection connection = new OracleConnection(connectStr); OracleCommand command = new OracleCommand ( "zzz", connection); command.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure; // Set the Array Size to 3. This applied to all the parameter in // associated with this command command.ArrayBindCount = 3; command.BindByName = true; // deptno parameter OracleParameter deptNoParam = new OracleParameter("p_deptno",OracleDbType.Int32); deptNoParam.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input; deptNoParam.Value = myArrayDeptNo; command.Parameters.Add(deptNoParam); // deptname parameter OracleParameter deptNameParam = new OracleParameter("p_deptname", OracleDbType.Varchar2); deptNameParam.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input; deptNameParam.Value = myArrayDeptName; command.Parameters.Add(deptNameParam); // loc parameter OracleParameter deptLocParam = new OracleParameter("p_loc", OracleDbType.Varchar2); deptLocParam.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input; deptLocParam.Value = myArrayDeptLoc; command.Parameters.Add(deptLocParam); try { connection.Open(); command.ExecuteNonQuery (); Console.WriteLine("{0} Rows Inserted", command.ArrayBindCount); } catch (Exception e) { Console.WriteLine("Execution Failed:" + e.Message); } finally { // connection, command used server side resource, dispose them // asap to conserve resource connection.Close(); command.Dispose(); connection.Dispose(); } }
"anonymous plsql block.
Well Yesstatic void Main(string[] args) { // Connect string connectStr = "User Id=;Password=;Data Source="; // Setup the Tables for sample Setup(connectStr); // Initialize array of data int[] myArrayDeptNo = new int[3]{1, 2, 3}; String[] myArrayDeptName = {"Dev", "QA", "Facility"}; String[] myArrayDeptLoc = {"New York", "Maryland", "Texas"}; OracleConnection connection = new OracleConnection(connectStr); OracleCommand command = new OracleCommand ( "declare dnumber number; dname varchar2(50) ; begin dnumber := :deptno;dname := :deptname;insert into zdept values (:deptno, :deptname, :loc); update zdept set deptname=dname || :loc where deptno = :deptno; end;", connection); // Set the Array Size to 3. Virtual copies are stored in the backups? How can I insert a backup in an existing catalog
I deleted a tif image file that I didn't intend, which had several virtual copies of LR, created from it. Virtual copies had a lot of history important that my impression of the preparation of changes to the document. These virtual copies are saved in the LR backup?
If so, how can I insert in the catalog that I use? I did a lot of changes in the two days since my last backup and don't want to lose this story either. Are you suggesting that I do a backup current prior to extraction of files since I last saved? I know I'm supposed to go to the backup location and open the last backup, but how work with the work during the last 2 days?
Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you, TomHuff says:
This may have been a mistake
It was, but not catastrophic.
Photos in Lightroom are defined by a database ID, not a file name, so you cannot rename them in order to be considered of the same picture as before.
So, theoretically, if master and virtual copy pictures are in your backup, you should be able to import all of them (copies of masters and virtual) - make sure that you remove first did re-imported in your catalog and make sure the name of the source file for tif on disc is identical to the front.
Huff says:
- The section has new Photos, which gives 2 choices of file manipulation: a) add new pictures to the catalog without moving them or b) not to import new photos
- Replacement of A changed existing pictures of the article with 2 options: a) nothing or metadata (b) and develop the power only. If you choose this option you can check a box to preserve old settings as a virtual copy.
1. a) add without moving
2. I thought you were only to add backup photos which no longer exist in the catalog (current) target, in which case it should be no replacement.

Attached files are stored where?
I wonder where are stored the files attached in a task of human processes? They consume database space? (in which schema/table?) Or are they kept in memory and deleted once the process instance is finished? Who would lead with the help of an external document management system where files must be stored in the long term. I need to size, if our current infrastructure will be sufficient for a new project of process, which requires to join several files in a document review process?
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance,
Charly
By default, Oracle BPM gives you two General options for storage
bindings of the human tasks:
1. the SOA INFRASTRUCTURE underlying database. This consumes database storage space.
2 oracle ECM - what makes the HW engine to store attachments in Oracle
WebCenter content. For this option, you need to configure both
components of BPM and COE to talk with each other.
This last option brings your scalability more but requires more complex
infrastructure. WCC Oracle is include the license of BPM Suite
(AFAIR), so it does not require you to purchase additional licenses.
If you need other assistance let me know.
See you soon,.

Insert and update records to MySQL from Oracle
Hello
Our application will be insert/update new records in the Oracle database, but I need to insert/update new records in the MySQL database. Oracle and MySQL tables have the same columns.
Right now, we intend to create DBLink between Oracle and MySQL. The question is to know how to write code to insert/update new records to MySQL from Oracle. I'm a new guy in this area.
Please give us some examples of code, thanks!
With Oracle, you should be able to just write the same thing as usual, except for the include link database when you reference the table for example your SQL
insert into tablename@mysqldblink...
updating of the game tablename@mysqldblink...
Services gateway through the database link (odbc drivers or anything else that is used) must make the most of the necessary conversions for you.
