Insertion of a MPEG 4 video clip

I imported the video clip of my cell phone Palm Pre in the import section.  He has accepted.  I dragged down into the timeline and you can see a small picture of him.

My calendar is composed of photos, then at the end it's the MPEG 4 video file.  It does not even after I published the movie.

Also, if this problem is corrected, will be the music imported clip be dubbed out by audio on the MPEG video file or be stifled?

Thanks for any help!

For the timeline, drag a second copy of the video on the audio / music and
send her to the left or right to align on the Audio track. Then right-click / mute the Audio track.

Now, you can split the video anywhere you want... CTRL + L... and delete a section...
Then, insert a Photo and give it the same duration as the segment that you deleted.

    Here's another method:

Split your video clip on each side of the area where will be the stills. Now... drag
the part cut on the audio / music. BTW... If you want to add a second 5 again...
Remove 5 seconds of the video clip. (info below on the separation if you need)

Drag your pictures still to the time line and drop them to the location where you
    deleted the video.

The Audio clip on the audio / music can be dragged to the right or left to adjust it to

  • My video clips become unreadable once inserted into the timeline.

Hello! I have problems with Windows Movie Maker 2.1.

I am doing a video review and I've set up titles, narration and audio with great success, but when it came to insert video clips I hit a problem.  The clips are all perfectly clear and readable when seen separately in Windows Media Player or Windows Movie Maker Preview Panel like separate imported clips.

However, as soon as I put on the timeline of the movie they will completely blurry and unreadable.  Video clips have been made using FRAPS, are saved in. AVI format, and Windows Movie Maker are Bit Rate: 1411 kbps; Size: 1.14 GB; Width: 1280; Size: 1024; Bit rate: ; Frame rate: 30 fps

I tried fiddling with the properties of the video and the Compatibility tab settings, but nothing seems to make no difference to the quality of the final result.  It seems that the script of the film can be reduce the 1280 x 1024 resolution to something like 640 x 514, but it doesn't seem to be a way to confirm or change.

Yes, the display resolution is reduced when we look at
    the script/Storyboard... (especially noticeable when
view full screen)... This should not affect your filled
    project.

Might be interesting to try to do a test and save the file in the
WMV or DV - AVI format movie to see if the result is
    Acceptable.

To save in a .wmv movie file...
Type of... CTRL + P (or go to...) File / save movie file)

Enter a name and a location.
    Next /.

Wait while the movie is saved.
    Finishing...

To save a DV - AVI movie file...

    Show more choices.
    Other parameters.
Open the window of the droplet and choose... DV - AVI.

If you have problems during registration, there may be a format
compatibility issue... you will need to convert your AVI clips

  • How to separate video clips online scene?

I just started using first Elements 7 which came bundled with my new laptop with Windows 7 64 bit. I put with success of video clips in the Organizer. I want to move multiple clips in the sceneline view and add effects of transition between them. Here are the AVCHD movies that are stored on my hard drive (.mts files). I drag the first clip in the first box in the timeline, and then a new box opens to the right. I drag a clip to it, and it simply adds to the rear of the first element in the first box. No matter how many clips I try to add, I'm with them all the joint together in the first box. I cannot not change them, cannot add transition effects, can not remove a single clip. I also tried with MPEG movies I have already taken and stored on my hard drive.

I have read the help files and bought two books on Premiere Elements, and this is not something that I see in the instructions. Is there a setting that I should look for to allow video clips present individually in boxes so that I can move around, clips of insertion, removal of clips, etc.?

    Marguerite

This is usually caused by having DD 5.1 SS Audio of your files. If you create a new project with the AVCHD Preset and choose DD 5.1 SS, this will allow its attachments for the line upward.

You can change in timeline view Mode, as it is, but you need to scroll to see the Audio tracks, where the Audio of your Clip has disappeared.

    Good luck

  • In Movie Maker 6.0 can a video clip (with mute) be spliced in another video clip so it seems to work with the original sound of the first video?

Hi, I put a video together for my MOM to 70th and one of her friends has provided a video clip of her playing a classical piece on the piano for several minutes.  I would like to cover this clip with other video sequences (landscapes, etc.) whereas the way piano since the main video track in the background.
I tried to let fall the piano video file directly in the audio editing panel and then cut a second 20 segment in the video editing and insert a 20 second video (mute) images of landscape. However, the piano audio from the first video stops as soon as the strike chronology inserted piece landscape and picks up again when it ends, even if the audio scenario shows the audio piano continuously?  Am I missing a step or is this not possible?   Thank you very much.

It should work quite as much as you described in Windows Movie Maker 6.0 (WMM 6.0), then maybe there is a step that is missed.  Let me describe how I could do and see if there's something you overlooked.

First of all, I assume that you have already imported the clip of piano and your other clips of landscape in your collection then you can drag the there where necessary.  First, drag the piano music to the track Audio / Music in the timeline panel.  Note that if you have your video extended timeline, it will show video, Transition & Audio, but you want to get off- below that, to the Audio / Music , to follow.  At this point if you play your 'film', you should not to see any picture but just to hear the sound of the piano.  You should also only see a waveform on the audio / music.

Now you can put anything you want on the video track.  Let's start by putting another copy of the original video of piano, but this time on the video track.  If you have developed the video track (to see the Vidéo/Audio/Transition) you will see the video piano and its associated audio waveform.  However, in your case, since you already have the audio separated, you want to cut that his partner.  Right-click on the Audio (attached to the video) track and select Muteor use the menus (Clip > Audio > Mute).

When you preview the project, you have synchronized video browsing with the original copy of the audio piano.  At the point in the video where you want to replace the video with another piano play, making a split (key M).  Make another split at the end of the section.  It is very import that select you the video track when you add new divisions and you have not also be divide the track Audio / Music .

Important: You want to make sure this divide the part that has the exact duration as well as landscape images, you want to replace.  So if you have 20 seconds to add, you divide 20 seconds piano images.

Right-click on the part of piano footage (video track) and choose Remove.  Then, insert the part of sequences of landscape (also on the video track) in its place.  Once again, you will have need put this added sequence muted landscape (Clip > Audio > Mute).

You should now see and hear the piano play.  Without any change in the audio playback in the preview window should implement the landscape images, then returns to piano images.

If you find that your project is not behaving correctly after these splits, but are you sure that you have followed these steps, it could be a problem with your video file types.  If in doubt, try to convert all your videos to .wmv format using something like Freemake Video Converter (freemake.com)

In any case, I hope that you are able to achieve, because it is certainly possible.  Good luck and post back with further questions or information, you can have.

  • How to get Windows 8 to be able to play MPG or MPEG-2 video files?

I just bought a Lenovo ThinkPad 2 with Windows 8 (not Pro).  I love the Tablet - this is really a replacement upgraded for the iPad!

My problem is that I record videos on a Sony camcorder and they are recorded as MPG files.  When I click on the file to watch on the ThinkPad, the audio but there is no video.
Temporarily, I've downloaded a trial version of Cyberlink PowerDVD on the Lenovo site and this allows to play video clips with audio and video.  My question is what is the alternative to Microsoft for this?  I wonder if the upgrade to Windows Pro and download the Pack Windows 8 Media Center will allow me to see the MPEG-2 audio / MPG files?

    Hello

The short answer is Yes... except for the disks from DVD or files...

WMP 12 them will play is more due to licensing issues, but will be Media Center.

Activation of Media Center provide most of the codecs that he and Media Player will need.

A problem though... I don't think you can improve win 8 Pro with the promotion you are considering... It is my belief that you must buy the Windows 8 Pro Pack.

Take a look at this link...   http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/feature-packs/

You can see in the screenshot that the video is narrowed down, thank you!

This dialog box appears only when you place a clip in an empty sequence. This is to help you create a sequence quickly that meets (or not) your footage.

To do what you want, go to your Pro first preferences > general and select the check box for the default scale to the size of the image.

    Click OK.

Group 2 - static images video

Group 1 - video clips video

    Audio track

The first video clip is "broken" at 00:00. If I try to move it just it snaps back to 00:00. Other clips can be moved but if I drag to the right it moves above the following.

Q1: in general, how to open a gap between two elements (for example, to insert a title)?

Q2: in particular, how can I move the first clip (and all subsequent clips) to the right?

    Thank you very much.

You should be able to select the first item, hold down SHIFT, and then select the end element. Now click and drag.

  • Delete message 'Trial' on video clips

    Hello.

Pending the arrival of buy first elements 10, I downloaded the trial version and started doing a recent holiday video. In the trial version all the video clips are marked with the caption: "Created with Adobe first trial Version."

Having now received the software on disks, I entered the registration code. To my surprise, the 'Trial' message is still on these clips that I placed previously in my project. This is not, however appear on the new footage inserted into the timeline.

But it is relatively easy to cut the original clips and then reinsert them lose the "Trial" message, I wonder if there's an easier method.

    Thank you

  • How layering audio clip interview on other video clips?

Help! I have some interview clips and want to ask over the audio from one of the interviews on different music videos. For example, I see the video and audio of the interview and then cut to a clip or a scene showing what is talking about the guy but still have the interviewees audio playing as a voice on the fastener of the flayed. How can I do?

    Welcome to the forum.

Is this Audio Multiplex (combined in a Clip w / both Audio & video), or is it only separate Audio file, which has been imported into your project?

If the latter, just drag an Instance of it to an Audio track free and position, as is required. Note: each Instance of an item can have different in and out Poiints, you are not limited to them being the same.

In the first case, the multiplex, there are two ways to do it, but possibly the easiest is to Alt-click on the Audio portion of the Clip (temporarily separates the Audio & video), and Ctrl + C (copy), then move the CTI (current time indicator/reading head) at the end of the timeline and then press Ctrl + V (paste), for as many Instances of the Audio that you need. Then, drag them to a blank Audio track, all holding the key Ctrl pressed for an Edit to insert, rather than a ripple edit, in order not to touch anything on this track, below the desired video Clip. If you replace the Audio.

Another way to do that is to use a Ripper Audio audio editing software, save as a WAV/PCM @ file 16-bit 48 kHz, and then import them into the project, for use in many cases.

Good luck and hope that helps.

  • Clip Bo pushing video clips on site

What I am doing wrong? I added mp3 clips audio ok until now, when I find the track I insert in the bar of the soundtrack grows all the video clips to the right for the distance of the melody.

If I put the track at the end, I tried right click the blank space when I supposed to option "delete and close the gap". But it doesn't matter.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Tim (PE10, Win 7).

    Tim,

When you drag your Audio Clip to any empty Audio track, hold down the CTRL key modifier, insert Edit, rather than Ripple Edit.

You can only delete and close space, if there are no Clips above or below this Clip/Gap should be deleted.

In addition, the MP3 can be problematic. This ARTICLE goes into detail. However, from your description, I think it's the difference between insert edit and modify the Ripple.

  • Rotation of a video clip and convert mp4 to avi

    Hello

    Just 2 quick questions...

I'm looking to convert a mp4 to avi file, the program that I usually use to convert files does not recognize the mp4, which is the best way to go about it

also, I have some video clips, I add to my production of Prime Minister. They are turned sideways. Is someone can please tell me how I can get to turn a video clip for what is the right way?

    Thank you!!!

Your best bet is to use Quicktime Pro as suggestions Hunt. There are some free programs like Super. It can convert MP4 video to AVI format, but if convert you to DV - AVI only to exports to a PAL 720 x 576 image size (with the other AVI formats, you can select the NTSC 720 x 480 standard) but you can set the frame for the NTSC standard rate. It can be downloaded from the following link. Scroll to the bottom of the page and ignore the ad AVS Converter until you get to 'Download the Super installation file': http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html

In Super go to "Select the output container" and scroll down and select AVI, you can then select the codecs video and audio output from the adjacent dropdown lists.

Otherwise you can try MPEG Streamclip, it can convert MP4 to DV - AVI (with the frame size) but it does not handle a wide range of formats mp4 as Super. http://www.squared5.com/SVIDEO/MPEG-Streamclip-Mac.html

To rotate your video in Premiere Elements, select the clip on the timeline and then click on the properties icon just above the timeline (or right-click on the clip and select properties), item properties panel opens. Then select query and you will find the rotation control there.
