Insertion of Gif in Windows Live Mail

I can't insert gif in the message on Windows Live Mail. In Windows Mail on my Vista, it was pretty easy. But on Windows Live, I was not able to understand so that they look right. They do not animate and I am unable to place them where I want that they. I use Windows 7 Home Premium.

I tried to insert a piece attached in the message, but which does not work right...

What is the Menu bar in WLM? If this is not the case, press Alt + M and click on show the Menu bar.

Open a new message window, enter the recipient, the subject and the text of the message. Now click on the position where you want to insert the GIF, click Insert > Image > Inline and browse your image. He would not, but I assure you it will be when it is received. Send to yourself to prove.

  • Transfer and insertion of images in the Windows Live Mail client

I use Windows Live Mail to manage my email.   When I want to send or forward an email containing images WLM wants to put the photos in a slide show that almost always completely destroyed the tone, intent, impact, or creates a new message that is ineffective.

Even if I'm generates a new email I try to insert a picture or two in the body of my email and he rips out them and puts them in a slide show, that makes no sense when I place a picture in the middle of the text which he described.
How can I turn off completely?
    Thank you

  • Insert a table into an HTML email - using WIndows Live Mail

I use Windows Live Mail to my email software.

I just want to insert a table into my messages sometimes, but I don't see an obvious way to do it.

I certainly think that its possible, I don't really see it.

    Your response is appreciated

    Windows 7 64

You used to be able to do this with OE with Insert. Text file and then designate a htm and then file it will get inserted.  So, if you save the table as a htm file, you might be able to do.  You can also try to copy (of a Web page) and then paste it into the e-mail.

I'm not an expert on WLM, so if this does not help, ask in the forum here that is specific to Windows Live Mail: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/email they also severely diminished the capacity of WLM, so you may not be able to achieve.

  • Windows Live Mail 2012 request username and password

Windows Live Mail 2012 never asked me user and password because it has been installed. After trying to send a photo from my Canon camera software after I had downloaded the images from the camera, asked for the username and password. Joined those from Microsoft. E-mail does not; It is in the Outbox. Choose the icon on desktop for Windows Live Mail 2012 and all contacts are gone. Email arrives, but can not send email. Need problem solved.

If you try to use the Windows function send to > message recipient to send an image, you must be logged into Windows Live Mail. There is a bug in the program.

When you are connected, you will see the contacts that belong to the Microsoft Account sign in to help. These are the same ones you see at http://people.live.com so sign here with the same account. If you are not signed in, you will see the default contacts list. There is no link between these different sets of contacts.

To avoid the bug, start by opening a message compose window in Windows Live Mail (for example by pressing Ctrl-N), and then apply a Insert > single photo to insert an image or images in the body of your message, or attach a file to send in the form of attachments.

If you are not able to send messages, please remove any message not sent from the Outbox, then compose a simple message, try again with a single topic and send it to yourself. Send the error message in your response.

  • Windows Live Mail: One or more of the pictures in this message could not be found

Normally, I can receive, view and send on, almost all images, photographs and videos that I receive. However, on some occasions and I don't know why it is, I get the following warning Message:

One or more of the pictures in this message could

not to be found. When you send this message these

photos will not be included. Are you sure

    for sent this message?

    YES NO

I do not understand that at all and I'm not a computer guru, I'm just an old guy who tinkers with his computer and tries to stay in touch with the family. If there is someone who can help me understand this, don't forget, keep things simple and use the word which I can understand. As I said, I'm not a computer guru.

Thanks for any help in advance.

    [Original title: Windows Live Mail]

One or more of the pictures in this message could not be found...

It is a painful bug that affected some users of Windows Live Mail since the release of version 2011 in 2010. It happens because the program stops to be able to make the connection between the placeholder image in the body of the message and the attached file. It happens that some incoming messages, including those who have at some point crossed a server AOL, some which were composed in Word, some which came from an Apple computer and so on. Despite having requested and received thousands of examples, support staff have never cooked with an explanation, never forget a cure.

A search for your error message produced something like 200 discussions on this problem in forum Windows Live Mail. The only reliable solution is to click on the bottom half of the Next button and choose forward as an attachment. This will send the message exactly as you received it. It requires that the recipient can open the .eml files.

If not, right-click on each image in the incoming message and select record under to save the image on your computer. Then, when you write the forwarded message, remove each image and use the option of the single photo on the Insert tab to insert the image you saved.

  • How can I remove a background image when replying to emails using windows live mail?

I have Windows Live Mail on Windows 7. I'm trying to reply to an email, and I want to remove the colored background, but not pass in plain text mode. This was easy to do it on Windows Mail, but I don't see no option anywhere to do this on WLM.

  • I need to disable the slide show feature in Windows Live Mail 2011

I asked the question back here December 7:

I have a list of disks that I send that contains some pictures. Is there a way to disable the slide show feature is not there when I send this list. Also - for some reason, it is much more difficult to add to my list because I went from Windows Outlook to Windows Live Mail 2011. No idea why it is difficult to make additions to my list?  Thanks - Bob

It was the response I received from Michael Santovec:

    (1) turn off picture messaging
WLM 2011: ALT + F, Options, mail, compose - uncheck: message to convert to e-mail photo when you add photos

    While composing
WLM 2011: Insert (ALT + I), simple Photo or attach file

There is a solution to avoid the send from Windows Explorer forcing picture messaging in WLM 2011 despite the program settings.

When you select to send, accompanied of a record no graphic images.  This could be just a file dummy.txt which is located in the same folder.

You will always have the ability to resize the images, but they find themselves attached instead of a mail of the photo.  You can then right click on the file dummy.txt and remove it from the message before sending it.

An another workaround if you are connected with a Live ID account in WLM is right click on the album in the message composition window, then left click on the tab tools of Photo Album that highlights in the Ribbon, and then the trombone to convert attachments.

Now, I'm not much more than a 'computer' man so maybe I did something wrong but the instructions above do not work. And now things have become even worse:

-now, I try to download my list several times before it actually works. Most of the time part of the page or the whole page becomes completely black.

-the few times that I can send my page and send him off to someone it takes about 5 to 6 minutes to go from my Outbox sent items.

I really need to turn off the slide show feature in my windows Live Mail 2011, otherwise I'll have fet another e-mail provider that is not something I want to do. I really don't like the new look of WLM 2011, but this problem with the slideshow feature drives me crazy. Any help here will be greatly appreciated - Bob

P.S. I thought to return to Outlook from Windows, but since I am on Windows 7 is apparently not an option.

  • How to import my AddressBook and emails from Windows Live Mail 2011 in Thunderbird?

My new ISP had problems with Windows Live Mail so I'm now using Thunderbird for the first time. I've never used T-bird before so keep the simple instructions.

A picture is worth a thousand words, they say.

Apparently, the choices are slightly different after 5 years. "Import all messages from a directory '

In the toolbar, click address book. On the Tools menu, select Import and specify the file type.

I'm talking about opening a CSV file in a spreadsheet hereto clean up the columns and positions because it is much easier to use tools of import from Thunderbird to make. (they crack on this task)

  • Cannot create the e-mail account, but can with windows live mail

I have a thunderbird e-mail account will not create just I have contacted my ISP and I have all the correct settings, but every time that I get a message saying. Thunderbird could not find your e-mail account settings. but on my other email account with thunderbird Charter set up very well. but when I used the settings to configure the email account in windows live mail, it worked. My ISP told me that this is a problem with thrunderbird. can someone help me please.

Not a problem with Thunderbird, a problem with your anti-virus crashes Thunderbird to access internet.

the configuration of the Charter is here https://autoconfig.thunderbird.net/v1.1/charter.net

Thunderbird can not find, if it cannot connect.

Check the firewall component of the anri virus and make sure Thunderbird has full access to the internet.

  • How to import Windows Live Mail storage folders in Thunderbird

I am trying to import the .eml files that I have in storage files in WLM in Thunderbird. Of the help section on Thunderbird:

Windows Mail (.eml files) in Thunderbird import is enabled by ImportExport third-party add-on tools. Download and install this add-on to transfer messages from Windows Live Mail into Thunderbird.

However, import Tools is an as file and my computer (Windows 7) cannot open it. Although I found an online program that convert into something readable, my software virus identified the program as malware. Does anyone know a way to safely convert a file as something Windows can recognize and run?

Or y at - it another way to get this add-on to run?

You should have a new tab under tools at the bottom that says "import/export - tools".
You can watch modules / Modules to see if
ImportExportTools is installed and activated. The choice of installation it is probably fine as it is.
