  Actually, no. There are a few built-in spacer in each character, so they're not typing all cramped upward.

  Move the whole box as bit to the left? Use an optical alignment?

  Or manual mode: insert a trailing space to the left of the character; Then you can use kerning between this space and the character to move all the way to the left.

  I have problems with the inset spacing.  Now with the 2014 edition, whenever I create a text frame, it comes with an outer margin.  Maybe one day I will come to appreciate it, but for now he won't let me put the name of the photographer immediately under a photograph.  I think I got a little more than 1 / 8 inch of space between the picture and the text.  It didn't used to be this way, and, indeed, it is not affecting text photo combos made with earlier versions of inDesign - only new text blocks made with the latest edition of 2014.  This includes a copy of former executives and sticking them elsewhere.  You would think that affecting 0P0 spacing to insert in the dialog box Options of text block, but that makes no difference.  How to do things the way they were?  In other words, no spacer insert.

  Since you have confirmed that this is not a problem of setting of the Insert, to check if it is a problem of text wrap preferences:

  If the problem is only certain documents, open a document

  1. with no object selected, go to Windows > Textwrap > select the first box (i.e. without default text wrapping)

  2. now, create new frameworks and make your adjustments

  If the problem is in all new files:

  1. to any State of pub (not open documents), go to Windows > Textwrap > select the first box (i.e. without default text wrapping)

  2. open the new document, creating environments and make your adjustments

  What is the problem?

• Inset spacing is more available, down, left, right options greyed out

  I have InDesign CC 2015.

  I have long used Options of text block to set the inset spacing on door pages of chapter, with no problems at all. I have a roof built for this frame, leaving the other values for the bottom, left and right, unchanged.

  Now, in 2015, CC, what I see is an option to insert spacing with the Word insert (rather than high) in the upper left and bottom, left and right options grayed out. This is despite the symbol screen showing that these values are not related. If I try to use the inset menu item to change, all margins are given this insert - once again, even if the screen shows that they are not related.

  A bug? A feature? Is there a way out?

  It probably means that your text box is therefore more a rectangle; It must have been biased.

  Go to object > convert shape > Rectane to return to "into shape".

• Tool menus - the display of text instead of icons?

  Given that I've updated Photoshop CC, I noticed that some of my menus tools have changed. In particular, the style of a large number of orders have changed text (often with an associated checkbox) to icons.

  Keeping in mind how annoyingly small each icon in Photoshop is, at least be able to read the name of the button that I have previously made a bit easier on the eyes.

  To give an example specific using the Magic Eraser on my PC (which I have not updated yet), work, I see the word "Contiguous" with a small checkbox next to switch between adjacent/non-contiguous pixels. However, on my PC at home (with the latest version of PS) this button has now been replaced by an icon:

  

  Does anyone know if it is possible to return to the menu text of old style commands.

  Hi Steve

  You should uncheck 'Enable close Options Bar' in Preferences > workspace.  Restart Photoshop and you will have the text instead of icons.

• The most effective way to import text ('tag' or 'style' pre-text?)

  Once again, my apologies to all the good people here who are so useful that I shows ignorance about the FrameMaker product.

  Always in collaboration with FrameMaker 9, still working on an old background of PageMaker (and print background before that).

  I remember being able to import the tag pre or pre style plain text in PageMaker.  For example, I could put in something the equivalent of a bunch of text that looks like this:

  [body] Lorem ipsum... bibbibity bobbity dooo...

  [subtitle] Presentations to the delicious taste

  [body] More fun text

  And then import this text in PageMaker is pick up these defined styles and make the material much faster import process.

  Is there a way to do the same to that of FrameMaker 9?

  You can use a text editor such as Notepad and the markup of the content in XML format. If this tag is compatible with your ESD, then you can import it into your FrameMaker document for copy or reference and he enrolled in full.

  Hello. Before the update today, I used the option to display text instead of icons on my toolbar buttons. This option is now removed? I can't find.

  I'm not well-versed in indesign, but what I've discovered, is that the box around the page number on the master was wrapping text, which was originally my text to break around her at the center bottom of the pages.  Problem solved, and amiellemiel is right.
