  You can use two different identities, or if you want to have access to these accounts in identity, set up your accounts and use message rules to move incoming messages.

  Probably missing me something incredibly obvious, but indicative googles suggests that something might be up with the 2.6.8 kernel and the e1000 pcie version.   Once you re-install your Windows XP, you will not be able to restore anything, unless you take a backup. I suggest you to install the driver network card and software of roadrunner from the manufacturers Web site.

• The Road Runner toolbar uninstaller

  Hi people,

  It's weird, but after seeing the problems withh rr toolbar, I tried to uninstall it in the list of programs and features for I can reinstall and start over. A message box poped upward and said he may have already been uninstalled and asked if I wanted to remove from the list of progeams and features. I answered Yes and it was deleted. The problem is that the toolbar is still there, but is no longer on the list. I can't delete or download another one Time Warner RR page.

  If you use IE 8 look in tools / manage add-ons / toolbars and Extensions, see if you need to disable in there?

  What do you see if you right click on an empty area adjacent on the toolbars in Internet Explorer, is there a drop down list with options?

  We are the kind of partner with Cisco in China. Our SIP in the Intranet clients can register to CUCM and make calls to the other. Now, we intend to let our customers SIP Internet CUCM registry. As far as we know, Cisco edge expressway and highway-core are required for Cisco devices is registered to the CUCM. However, we wonder if the third-party SIP clients in the Internet can join CUCM via Highway-core and Highway? After Google search, could not find a clear answer to this question.   MRA does NOT with any 3rd party (SIP or H.323) device, endpoints only Cisco working with ARM.

  Deepak is just saying that internally, you can register as a VCS - C (and the trunk then to CUCM), and in fact, if they are SIP, x8.8 also allows recording on EXP - C, once again, internally NOT on ARM.

  You say you already save those of CUCM internally, there is even no need registration VCS - C.

• DHCP DNS options

  I have a small office, served by a SA520 and Road Runner cable modem.

  What is the recommended setting for our DNS users?  At the present time our DHCP (via the built-in router DHCP server) passes on its own address as the DHCP server.  Then client machines indicate that the DNS server on 192.168.1.1.  Our WAN config on this router then points to the servers DNS of Road Runner.

  Would it be better performance if we passed the DNS servers of direct Road Runner customers?  Or even open DNS servers of google?  It seems that the performance would be better if they went directly to a DNS server rather than the transmission by proxy through the router.

  DNS is a distributed system for balancing on multiple dns servers.  Basically, the sa520 is a proxy dns cache.  The way it works is:

  client wishes to connect to something (for example,www.cisco.com ).  The customer research in the local dns cache, if it has solved this recently he will use the locally cached IP address to connect.  (faster)

  If the local cache has expired or has no entry for www.cisco.com, the client goes to his server dns (sa520), if the site is cached, SA sends the dns response returned and the customer then goes to the site.  If the site is not cached, the sa520 will go to the resolver (Roadrunner) and dns RR can go to its resolver and the process continues until the dns process gets to a server who knows the .cisco .com.     and www (it could be 3 different servers)

  but, and this is where the local caching comes in to make it faster.  If you have several devices on the network, it is likely, someone has already gone on this site, it is cached locally and the router can return a result not resolve on the internet.

  This is more important with web pages that have multiple http connections on several sites (facebook icons, ads, twitter links, graphics, etc.).

  Local caching puts less load on the Web servers of root, or dns googles.

  for average config, you can point your dns 8.8.8.8 SA520 wan settings (google) and see if its impact on your performance, but it really depends on the combination of dns queries that happens on your network.

  generally local caching on the router pointing to a fast dns is the best combination to reduce DNS querys and traffic, but always respond quickly.

  Note, a lot of questions "slow internet" are really caused by the slow dns resolution (as well as the programming of web pages with 10s or hundreds of links on them.

  If you use a bookmark try to access OAW through its login page.

  If printing of web pages is too small then make sure you are not zoomed out on these pages.

• How can I sync my email between my mac and my iPad

  I'm a Road Runner e-mail account and use Outlook on Mac.  I also have an iPad 2 Air which I just bought.  Is it possible to sync my email between my mac and my iPad?  I wish I could use my Mac or my iPad to check my email and store messages in my files.  I currently can't do this on my Mac, I don't know how to synchronize between both devices.  Did I ask for possible?

  If the e-mail account can be configured as IMAP, you can add the account for both devices and they will keep in sync.

• E3200 router and DNS their with RR

  OK so I bought the e3200 router to use with my internet Road Runner. Everything works beautifully all day until about 18:00 then I start getting dns problems and my modem disconnects for aboput aminutes, then it comes back.  Ive cloned my mac address of the router, also, I went to OpenDNS and changed on the router hopeing that would work, but no luck today that I'm disconnected again at 18:00.  anythought on why im getting disco would be around the same time every day.  My thought is that it is the modem directly. but any help would be wonderful thanks to all.

  If your modem disconnects, it is not a problem of the router. Ask your ISP. Probably the modem crashes and restarts...

  In addition to Brian's suggestions, see here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 after you disable e-mail analysis, then delete your e-mail account, compact and repair the database of WinMail (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) then add your account to e-mail back again.

  You can also test it out yourself copy emails you send and then see if you receive.  You can also connect to RR via the webmail interface, I think and send and receive from there to ensure that it is not not a RR problem.
