Inspiron 1764 startup problem on reboot.

He cold starts fine, but if I do a restart of the desktop (Win7), the start screen displays "Operating system not found '.  CTRL ALT del and get into the bios confirms that it has not detected the HARD drive after the reboot.  Stop and make a start cold, he finds the HARD drive and boots in Win7 as usual.

BIOS is newer (that I can find, "A13".

Did a full scan of the disc etc HARD surface

Set the HARD disk boot order

Re-writes the mbr in the cases where it was the problem, but most likely a bios problem?.,.

.

anyone?

  • New Dell Inspiron 1764: Problems with signal low connection to wireless networks.

I have a new laptop Dell Inspiron 1764 I received on 25 June. It is "replace" a Dell Inspiron 9100, who has learned to be too slow and too bulky for my needs. For the purposes of support, the two laptops are running on Windows 7.

Overall, I love my new Inspiron 1764. However, I noticed the connection/signal strength seriously degraded, with wireless (Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini card) card, compared to my Inspiron 9100 (Dell Wireless 1350 WLAN Mini-PCI card).

In areas of my home that my 9100 can obtain the power of the complete signal (5 bars), my new 1764 bars 2 or less. This behavior is not as limited to only my house as I have tested in my work and in an area of less than 10 feet away from the wireless router, I have 'Internet connectivity problems.

I tried twice this morning talk with Dell technical support. The first person I talked to tried to be helpful and initiated at least a DellConnect session with me so that he can check out some of my settings and such (However, why they went twice in my sharing settings I could not determine as they have absolutely nothing to do with the intensity of the signal).

Unfortunately, I was disconnected from the session when I went to a place that had less signal than just next to my wireless router.

I then go on the chat support with Dell and received another technician to speak with. I explained my problem, told them that I was in a DellConnect session with the other technician, and they looked to the top of my support contract.

They then told me that my warranty does not cover software issues and referred me to the software Department and said it would be a supplement. I told them that I did not believe that it is a problem of software in any way, shape, or form. They told me that it must be a matter of adjustment. I spent several hours scouring the internet forums on Dell and other sites check those who have had similar problems. Some of their questions were certainly the software settings, but I still don't yet to find anything that tells me I have an incorrect setting of software.

So far, I'm standing in my kitchen, tapping on my Inspiron 9100 with a full 5 bars, while my Inspiron 1764 is sitting next to me with a skinny 2 bars, and I am literally standing 7 feet above the room which houses my Linksys WRTU54G-TM router.

Personally, I suspect a faulty wireless card, but how to convince Dell to hear my case and replace it instead of trying to bilk me for support of useless software?

I hope Dell Tech Support bed actually this post, or people with the same problem can Dell refer to my previous post describing the problem and the fix.

It IS a PROBLEM of MATERIAL WITH the ANTENNA, AND VERY PROBABLY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN a DECK CONNECTION at the ANTENNA of the PLATE, from connections TAPE FOIL INDIVIDUAL at the ANTENNA of the PLATE, THAT DELL MUST HAVE RESPONSE BETWEEN WHAT MINE PORTABLE has BEEN CARRIED OUT AND THE SPARE ROOM WAS MADE. THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOFTWARE, PROVIDER OR ROUTER, IT IS THE PLASTIC WITH THE ANTENNA CASE!

Dell is in fact losing more money with the hours of technical support through software patches and sending technicians with new wireless cards that does not solve the problem. They need to send and replace the plastic case behind the LCD screen with the updating of antenna and connections.

    Good luck!

  • Startup problem blue screen that seems to be associated with BHDRVX64

I have a laptop model Dell Inspiron N5110 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - Bit.  I have Norton Security Suite running - seems to be normal.  When I started my pc this morning, I got the dreaded blue screen of death.  A window will appear which indicates that there is a startup problems and offers several options to correct the startup problem.  One option is to run a startup repair program.  I tried and failed, then it has proposed restoring to a previous date program.  It does not work.  He suggested then reload the Windows program by providing more options of Windows rereloading.  I'll try the drive backuo system I created when I got the new computer-, but then, for reasons unknown, my pc suddenly decided to restart all of himself and it started normally.  Happy, happy.  But then a window pops up that says my computer has a device problem that has been identified as "ROOT\LEGACY_BHDRVX64\0000" she added that "BHDRVX64" was absent, does not, or that he needed a driver. Okay now my pc works normally, but I'm afraid to turn my pc off because this problem seems to be associated with start-up. »

HELP, HELP. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you. Bobbysan 70

This program is part of the Norton Security software, so I would like to uninstall and reinstall.  For more information, see with Symantec.  Here is a link to the Google search, I did, FWIW.

When you got your system back as you, I invite you to buy an external hard drive, and a good backup 3rd party program. You can configure it to automatically do everything in time and frequency of your choice. 1 TB external hard disks around $ 70 these days and a very good FREE backup program corresponds to the Easeus todo backup free of charge that you can download from

http://www.todo-backup.com/products/home/free-backup-software.htm . Who can make you save a lot of time and frustration, the next time something like this happens. Sooner or later, it happens to all computers for one reason or another.

    Good luck.

  • HP Pavilion 23: startup problems

Because we bought our computer in October 2014, we had many problems with the start, problems of drivers, startup problems, graphic card problems and more. It was supposed to be fixed once by the bu retailer still, there are questions. The biggest problem is starting:-it freezes, error messages that say lag not found drivers or disk not detected though when checked is. Also, we have done numerous resets hard which are just a quick temporary solution and back problems. We pay every month for a service contract with the retailer, but they mostly just try to run the store for our computer repair you... NOT HAPPY because for the third day, we bought there have been problems and we haven't bought a computer to sit in a workshop constantly, not at the price we paid coupled with the monthly fee for whatr amounts to nothing. Is there something we can do to solve this problem without driving miles and being without a computer that actually, we bought to USE?

    Hello

Without compromising your contract, I suggest

SYSINTERNALS which is a suite of tiny applications bit that may help.

    https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/Sysinternals/default

Now only 3 or 4 are likely to be beneficial, and some does not at all because they are for servers etc.

Thus a special interest may be...

    AutoRuns

    LoadOrder

    RamMap (maybe)

    Contig (maybe)

    PageDfrg

    ROOTKITREVEALER

    DiskView (maybe)

    PsInfo (not really)

    psping (not really)

After trying a few please ask if there is something to be interpreted.

I suggest you turn off auto update if you can.

  • Problem in reboot loop after updates.

I have windows XP on an Asus A8V-E-SE motherboard has developed a problem in reboot loop after updates.  It will not go in safe mode either.  Stop at a display of the driver.  I used the recovery console using the XP cd and you can see the update directories in the systemroot folder.  I followed the instructions in the forum to uninstall every update by accessing commands back to the subdirectory spuninst update and then run "Batch spuninst.txt.  I get a bunch of 'access denied' messages for each of them (varies in amount of "access denied" messages by everyone but consistent for each.)  It's not like the batch uninstall for the update does not work.  I tried to uninstall all updates yesterday 10/02/10 (I had 10) even with the "access denied" messages, but it still will not initialize properly.  No way to move the access denied message?

  • Dell inspiron 1764 radeon hd4330 or i5 igpu

Hello, I have a dell inspiron 1764 with this model of motherboard

The integrated motherboard gpu is a radeon hd4330.

The processor is an i5 - 520 m which has an integrated gpu.

If I upgrade my memory to 8 GB memory ddr3, integrated processor graphics would be much better than the hd 4330.

My question is: is it possible to use the integrated graphics card of the processor instead of the graphics card built-in to the motherboard?

    Thanks for your reply.

The answer is no – it is not possible.

  • Disable the touchpad to Inspiron 1764

    Hello

I can't turn off the touchpad on my Dell Inspiron 1764.  I downloaded the latest drivers, but still no luck.  The access key does not work and when I go into the properties of the mouse, the touchpad is not visible - therefore, that I am unable to turn it off that way too.  I have Windows 7 64 bit, and I was wondering if this has something to do with the drivers work does not correctly.  At some point, when I updated the drivers, I got the error message that the pilots did not download correctly and to check for errors and fix them, I didn't click to correct mistakes and move forward.  I hope someone can help me with this!  I am constantly hitting the touchpad and jump around everywhere or completely destroy stuff.
    Thank you!

For the Inspiron 1764, specifically, install the driver Alps Touchpad R275830 of http://drivers.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php?p=101686&t=0&i=1

Run the driver to install it.

    Reset

After the restart, find the Touchpad icon in your taskbar (at the bottom right by default), and then right-click to bring up the menu.

    Select Touchpad properties

In the Touchpad properties, click the device that you want to select

There is a checkbox at the bottom of the dialog box to the box 'disable the Touchpad/Pointing Stick when the mouse USB's present external

Assuming you have an external USB mouse connected, your touchpad should now be disabled. I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, YMMV on other operating systems

Can you also please make sure that all network interfaces are correct.
Ping the private sector of both nodes of interconnection and make sure that the servers can communicate.

You should also look at 'How to Troubleshoot Grid Infrastructure startup problems [ID 1050908.1]'

You said in your 1st post + "suddenly 2 days back NODE1 got failed...". » +
That happened the node does get deported, did the crash of the instance...?
Have you looked in the nodes of the log files if there are errors during this time? I don't understand that you can't get any kind of message in the log files to give us an indication of what could be wrong.

Please look at all the files following logs on both nodes during the period when the 1st omitted node:

    /log//alert.log
    /log//crsd/crsd.log
    /log//cssd/ocssd.log

  • New Inspiron 15R SE 7520 video startup problems

I recently bought a new laptop and it has had problems since I got it. Originally I was to blame these on windows 8 and stuck through them to get used to, but my graphics card which is a 2 GB AMD RADEON HD M 7730 planted a lot almost without reason. The screen would go black and then reappear with a bubble WARNING saying something like "AMD graphics card has recovered from an unexpected fall. At this point, I decided to go back to windows 7, but after trying to do a new reinstall Windows 7, it just stopped and then whenever I start, it displays an error message on a black screen background I would like to select windows 8 and he would go as usual.

Now the real problem you now have the baseline. Today I opened my laptop after leaving it on when the lid accidentally closed. It seemed that everything was fine, but the continuous black screen and then finally just stayed black. I turned off the laptop to see if I could reset it and when I turned it back I had no video output at all. The power light turns on, the fan starts going and nothing other than the gradual power in light. One of the buttons on the front, which I assume is the battery (a small box with a lightning bolt in the middle) button flashes between red and white.

I tried to find solutions, but almost all the other problems that I find tell me to wait for the dell logo to appear or buttons wedge at a time when starting, but I still don't receive anything other than a black screen.

Any help would be appreciated to gretly, luckily I still have my old laptop so I can use it to ask.

Well, after a few other sites by browsing, I found that if I just remove and replace the battery it now works fine. Ill put this here incase anyway everyone has the same problem.

  • Satellite S1800-814: startup problem, screen is black

I know there are several comments here to point out how the black screen at startup. I think my problem is similar, but I need a few more details.

A year ago, a friend of mine gave me his old laptop, a Satellite 1800-814. I use it mainly as a typewriter and check my email. He could never operate on battery only, longer than for a few seconds, but I've always used it with the connected power cable, no problems. Sometimes it wouldn't start, and I had to unplug the power supply for a while to turn on.

I was visiting someone and wanted to connect to the Internet. They had this USB wireless modem, that I have it plugged into my Toshiba. During installation, the PC froze, and I had to reboot by pressing the button market for some time. He did restart, but at a standstill. I restarted again, sometimes had it works, sometimes not, and ultimately he entered its current state: with the power cord plugged in, it will start, I'll hear the processor fan (or whatever it is) work and the lights of the battery and the power will be green at the bottom of the keyboard.

The screen, however, is black, there not all sounds and ceilings and the insert key lights do not react to what whether - they are permanently gone.

What is happening here? I tried to remove the battery, give it some time and then reinsert, but in vain. I also tried to start it upward with the USB connected modem, no luck there either. What I do have an appointment with the Doc of PC, or can I fix it?

I have really important documents there. Grateful for any help!

Your description is quite long, but I'm still confused. You mixed several questions in the description of the problem and there is no stated clear what happens when you press the button walk / stop.

    Power is ON?
Is there a HARD disk activity?
You see something on the screen?
What happens if you use the power supply only (without the battery inside)?

Sorry, but it is not easy to tell what can be the problem. The best thing you can do is to contact someone with enough experience PC. The person who has the laptop on the desk and try to start this laptop can be more specific about possible problems.

BTW: Please check this http://support.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSD57013H000JR01.htm interesting document
