Instal thinks there is a more recent version.  Does anyone have a solution?

I am trying to download Acrobat Reader and going through the process, he says he has not installed correctly, because a more recent version is already installed.  I am running windows 8.1 and have checked my list of programs.  I don't have adobe Acrobat (or any Adobe) it.  Help!

Hi epmc,.

Uninstall the drive using this cleanup tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning - Adobe Labs tool, reboot your system & reinstall it using this link Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution.

Kind regards
Nicos
