  I have a satellite P200 with Vista Home premium SP1 and I need to install it on Visual Studio 2008.
  When the install wizzard starts it checks the compatibility of the computer and could not return this:

  So the only solution I have is to exit the installation wizard, so I can not install VS2008

  Microsoft product support has apparently no solution and find it strange!

  Sorry, but just because one person in a MSDN forum has randomly the same machine you, does not mean that there is a related problem of the machine. Technically in comparing it s absolutely the same material as in an office and so why Don t you contact Microsoft technical support?

  It seems that it is certainly unwanted Microsoft and has NOTHING to do with Toshiba hardware or software, so please see MS support sites or give them a call, because it s THEIR software which won´t operate according to THEIR operating system.

• Problem with the installation of Visual Studio 2010 Express on Window XP 10 MS.

  I tired to install MS Visual Studio Express from 2012 on window XP with SP3 with all updates to date. But it fails with exit code 1602. Please help solve this problem. • Impossible to reinstall Microsoft Visual Studio 2015

  • Earlier, I installed microsoft visual studio 2015 in drive H and it worked very well.
  • Later I mergerd H drive with other readers to a place in the Visual studio installation directory and drive C has been moved to a folder in drive E.
  • Visual studio was not at all and add remove program can not repair or uninstall.
  • Then I took it off by revo uninstaller and the remaining files and registry entries.
  • I also uninstalled 4 to 5 other programs that are installed with visual studio, something like the pack of language, etc.
  • When I tried to reinstall, the installation was already selected and gray outside so it cannot be changed, nor custom nor typical option.
  • The installation location selected was H:\visio
  • I searched on the internet and then I changed the drive letter from E to H, so the installation started, but it find you the following error.

  Can you list the following information so that we may be able to reproduce your problem:

  -Version of Windows (Vista, XP, 7, 32-bit or 64-bit)

  -Version of Visual Studio 2008

  -When you installed visual studio, you said that you were a developer c#, VB developer or Web Developer

  -In your settings "Options-> projects and Solutions" you "Always" display the Solution and/or "Save new projects when created" checked or unchecked

• Why Visual Studio 2010 always plant and then display "Unauthorized requested registry access"... and then stop?

  I am running Windows 7 Professional - 64-bit. I installed, then got the result above, then uninstalled and then turn off the entire computer. Reboot to try another version, this time used a book called "Foundation - Expression Blend 3 with Silverlight", this book shows how to install programs-Visual Studio and Blend - what other applications that I could use, but missed and in what order, that these need to be installed. If the mixture is not supposed to be installed first, I'll find out in this way and uninstall all, restarts and follow the order of installation, this book gives to think. I hope that this is the reason, but I have my doubts.

  Have you tried right clicking on the shortcut to the program or the .exe and select "Run As Administrator"?  Perform, even if your user name is an administrator.

  I have a problem on my laptop which is the startup screen freezing after installing Hyper-V on Windows Pro 8.1. Actully I need because it is used by Visual Studio 2015 do Andriod device emulator work

  After a search internet I found that this problem is caused by the driver Ralink Bluetooth and common

  I'm also thinking that I can boot windows successfully when I disable virtualization BIOS, so I logged on windows and I have tried a few solutions

  1. Disable Bluetooth device-> does not

  2 - Install the latest Ralink driver-> does not

  3. Remove VEN_1814 & DEV_3298 & SUBSYS_18EC103C & REV_00-> work but the returned key after that restart so I have to delete this key, everytime I open windows, and more that's a problem with virtual switches on Hyper-V

  Any solution permanent please?

  I discovered Mediatek drivers which are no longer updated.

  Not sure if that helps in your case with Visual Studio.
