Install the flash drive on mac

I was in need of upgrade my macbook pro flash player for a while now,

However once I downloaded the update from the Web site, I'm going to install it, and it tries to open it with a program that I downloaded, and it does not work.

I tried right clicking and going to 'open with', but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to open with.

What app should I use or y at - it another way I can open it?

I'd appreciate any help

Thank you!!

  • How to get windows xp re - install for installing the flash drive to the computer error portable "windows\system32\config\system".

My Acer Aspire One has error "windows\system32\config\system" How can I get a copy of windows xp original usb? When I bought the

computer laptop windows xp made & paid for. Product key is on the back. Can I download & reinstall using a flash drive?

C:\Windows\system32\config\system is one of the files that make up the system registry.  Backups of the system registry files are kept in the 'C:\System Volume Information' folder under the system restore program.  Probably all you need to do is copy of registry backups in the Windows\system32\config folder.  A reinstall of windows may not be necessary.

To do this is to start your machine from a free "Live Linux" thumb drive.  You can create a startup disk Ubuntu here:

Follow the instructions of "Try me" and you should be able to copy backups of registry in place.  Windows has "Hidden doubling" the System Volume Information folder, but Linux doesn't seem to have any problems with it.  After starting from the Thumb Drive Linux, follow the instructions in the following article from part 2, step 6, using the graphical interface of Linux to copy files (right click copy, make a right click Paste) instead of the lines of command in the article.  With a little patience, you can restore the registry from a backup, and be back in operation

Can someone advise how I can solve this problem.

    Thank you

If your version of Internet Explorer doesn't support TLS 1.0 or higher, which is also problematic.  I think that it is disabled by default in IE8.

    Try the offline installation program:

  • Install the Flash drive on a Virtual Machine

Host operating system: Linux Mint 17, Matt

    6 of VMware

    Windows XP Home SP2

    Opera 11.5

It starts to install then says that there is a connection error when there is no. Telling me just try the same steps more still don't cut it. Either I need to know why the installer thinks there's a connection problem, or should I be able to install offline. In fact, it would be simpler and better. Oh yes, one more thing. I opt to download Google Chrome, just in case where it makes a difference.

I need to run applications that use SWF files for video content in the program. Therefore, a browser plugin will not work for them.

    Hello

Please try the installation program offline posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows page in the section "problems".  Unlike Installer online who downloads and installs Flash Player silently in the background, this is the full installer and once downloaded does not connect to the internet to download anything extra.

Please provide logs previously requested that will help to troubleshoot why the online installer does not work. I've seen several reports recently of the installer online have reported an error of connection in XP. I was not able to reproduce the error and get the logs will help us troubleshoot why what is happening.

I recently downloaded and installed the Flash Player version 14.0, but it cannot locate on my computer (Mac OS x 10.6).  The version I can find is Flash Player version 10.2.153.1.  Can you tell me how I can find and verify that the version 14.0 was installed?  When I use the Adobe web site to check what version I am running I'm under version 14.0, but a search of my computer does not display the version 14.0 anywhere on my system.

    Hello

Version of the Flash Player plugin is installed in the directory/Library/Internet Plug-ins.

  • You can remove the flash drive after the installation is complete and Windows is completely implemented?

Have finished installing 10 Windows on my Mac, I'm too afraid to leave the flash drive, I used in the process. Is it OK to take it out now? Or the downoads will be lost?

Yes. Do not forget that you eject it before you disconnect it.

  • How to transfer the movie to the flash drive

I am trying to transfer the video I made using imovie on a flash drive, but it cannot be copied, the film is the 5.62 GB and Flash drive is 32 GB.

Probably, your USB is formatted for a PC and not Apple. Most of them is set form in format FAT 32 PC, or something similar.  This format limits any file size to 4 GB.   It must be in MAC OS extended (journaled) format. Order/Get Info lets you know how it is formatted.    If it's not MAC OS extended (journaled) Apple, you can reformat the drive to MAC OS extended (journaled) using the utility disc on your Mac application.    You must first remove all files from your USB drive to a different drive, because reformatting the flash drive will delete all the files it contains.  Once the flash drive is reformatted, you will be able to tailor your movie on this subject, assuming that other files do not use disk space.

don't know how to transfer pictures from a flash drive on mac i.

Plug a flash drive on your mac.  Flash drive icon should appear on your desktop.  There are adapters for sd camera cards.

You may be prompted to add pictures to the photo app.

If not or you do not want to add photos to the app, you can double-click the flash drive icon. You may need to explore the folder where are the pictures.  Drag and drop the photos where ever you like.

  • Install the device driver of printer not connected to the computer

My printer is too old to connect to my new computer.  I want to "print to a file" and move the file to another computer on which the printer connected (this second computer is not connected to the internet). How can I install device driver on the new computer with no attached printer?

    Hello

    1. What is the brand and model of the printer?

If you want to move the file to another computer, you can copy the file to the flash drive and move to the other computer, so that you can print the file.

  • Deleting files from the Flash drive

I have a Sandisk Cruzer Edge 16 GB Flash Drive.  I use it with two computers, an iMac and a Macbook Air, both using OS X 10.8.2.  Recently, I loaded about 10 GB of files on it.  I have now deleted these files.  However, Finder always shows the Flash drive as carrying 10.8 GB of files and having only 5,2 GB of available.  When I try to record a 10 GB file on the Flash drive, I get a message saying that there is not enough available space.

How can I delete uploaded files from the Flash drive so that I can reuse the whole 16 GB?

I don't use a Mac, so I'm going off the coast of the memory of what I read here before, but I think you need to empty your trash, while the disc is still connected to your Mac.

  • How to transfer pictures from the flash drive for PC

Uploading images to a flash drive

a friend gave us a flash player that has pictures on it. I plugged it in and it turns on but I get nothing on my screen says thast there download or anything like that. How can I get my photos once they are uploaded?

They don't automatically upload. In some versions of Windows, when you insert any type of removable drive (flash disk, CD, DVD, etc.) you will get a dialog box asking what you want to do with the content. I find it quite annoying, but, in this case, it would be useful, because then you can choose from various options that may include any software you have to display the photos.

As this did not happen, press the Windows key + E to open Windows Explorer, click Folders in the menu to display the folders pane, then click the icon that represents the flash player. You should see (depending on your display options), a list of the icons or thumbnails of the photos. Try a double-click on one to see if some kind of viewer opens (for example, if you have a recent version of the installed office and they are JPEG files, they will probably open in Microsoft Office Picture Manager). If this isn't the case, right click on one and choose open with. You can have a few viable options listed; If this is not the case, click on choose program... and select a probable from the list in the dialog box that opens.

Note that this will only display the photos; they are still on the flash drive. To copy them to your hard drive, you will need to drag them from the flash drive into a folder on your hard drive.
