Installation Documaker 12.4 Enterprise Edition

Installation Guide Doucmaker 12.4 Enterprise Edition says that - minimum hardware you need for a sandbox is - Windows Server 2008 x 64, Intel 2 Core 2.3 GHz x 64, 16 GB of RAM and 150 GB of hard drive. Which means that - DB, WebLogic, SOA and other previously required, all software will be installed on the same server. What is the only requirement for the sample / demo Version of the software available.

This is the requirement for ODEE only. The other required components have their own requirements that must be met. Although it is possible to install all components on a single server, it is not recommended for anything other than the sandbox environments or development. The indicated conditions might work for an all-in-one, but you may need additional CPU or RAM.

  • BI enterprise edition installation. all on a single server

    Hello world
I'll install Oracle business intelligence, 11 on linux x 86-64 platform. As it needs a database must be installed I have to install Oracle 11 g 2 on the same server.
I was reading the Oracle BI documentation that I came across this sentence:
The database must be facing up and running and doesn't have to be on the same computer where you install the components
Base on the distribution, it is best to separate the repository BI (Oracle database) and its application.
What happens if I want to use the same server for both? Any special error or prevention by the installer?
    All the best,

    Hi Arash,

The recommendation to have different hosts for each component of your BI environment is mainly to optimize performance in production systems, development and the environments of demonstration that you can have the whole stack installed in one system.

The remote control is a separate download, you can find it at the bottom of this page:

    Hello

Operating system of the server on a laptop?

May I ask why you want to do this? I don't see a reason for this and portable isn't designed for server systems.

In addition, Windows 2003 Server is based on Windows XP and Qosmio F60 and XP no driver available is. It supports Windows 7 only
Therefore, search all the drivers yourself on external pages if you really want to do this.

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

Enterprise is a completely different animal than other Win10 versions and is NOT intended for personal use, but on the contrary, for commercial use - in situations where the operating system is installed and maintained by the it Department staff.

So, it doesn't have the convenience of restore consumer versions.

And Yes, since you didn't have (apparently) the foresight to make an image backup before installation of Win10, the ONLY way to return now is to do a factory reinstall using HP recovery media - and which erases the ENTIRE disc.

Since you have not bothered to inform any PC, you need to check yourself if HP makes these available recovery media.

It is a set of DVD and a CD or a USB key, which will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs. You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

You can look online for recovery from the paged media related: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Once there, enter your product name or number. On your software page and download the drivers, select your operating system and version. Click on "Update". If the HP recovery support is available for your computer, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entry and click on order to press for more details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!

If HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

  • Volume under license of Windows 7 Enterprise Edition new install hangs at disk.sys

Original title: installation of new Windows 7 hangs at disk.sys

We have conducted our mail, ftp and video servers on XP because we expected a software upgrade for our video server, so that we can install Windows 7. The MB is a Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H Revision 1.0. Last week, I took the server down to do the installation of Windows 7 Enterprise. Using the ISO downloaded from our Volume Licensing account I burned onto a dvd it and booted from it.

The system should start and begin installing Windows. The files would load and the screen change to . Then nothing. I fought with him for two days and I tried a thousand (Finally, much) "solutions, I found online, but nothing has worked.

I cloned the drive that contains the system partition - formatted system partition (to record the logical drives on the other partitions) - and tried to install on the empty system partition. Same failure. I allowed the system to boot from the hard drive to the existing installation of XP and it worked normally (it's how I could get away with spending so much time on this: I could put the machine into service between tests).

I took the drive cloned out of the machine and bread-boarded it with a new motherboard (different mfg/etc) and the monitor. I also moved the DVD player, I used during the installation of the system has failed.

I moved the hard drive to three different Virgin machines awaiting completion and it Windows 7 has started and ran on all of them.

Go to research on the web it is clear that it is not yet near a problem isolated - I found pages and pages of the report and a variety of approaches to fix - it would take a lifetime to try them all. Surely MS is aware of this - it is hoped (in vain, I'm afraid) that he would have been treated by them. Maybe it's one of these 'features' that defies explanaton. But I hope not.

  • Configuration of SQL 2008 R2, Enterprise Edition for vCenter Server 5.1

    Greetings to all seasons.

Kind of a newbie here. That's my lab environment.

I have always used the vCenter Server install Simple option that also installs the shipped Microsoft SQL 2008 R2 Express edition.

Now, I do an eval of vSphere 5.1 and I want to manually configure a database server using the Microsoft SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition.

I know how to install the database server and it works. But I do not know how exactly set up a database for vCenter Server.

I looked at the guide Configuration / Installation of vSphere and I don't seem to be able to follow the preparation vCenter Server databases section, because I'm not a person to the database. Y at - it any other guide or a blog, I can follow? I searched a lot and found everything I was looking for. Thought I would ask here.

Here are the virtual machines I have.

    Lab - DC1 (domain controller)

    Lab - DC2 (domain controller)

    Lab-SQL1 (SQL 2008 R2, Enterprise Edition)

Lab-SQL2 (SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise - subsequently configure failover clustering)

    Lab-VC1(vCenter Server 1)

    Any help is appreciated!

  • Difference between Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition for Oracle RAC

    Hello

In our current configuration we have CARS on standard edition and customer is now considering to go to Enterprise Edition, but not yet to decide because of the cost.

Is there a difference between the Infrastructure of grid 11gR 3 Enterprise edition and Standard Edition?

They told me first install Enterprise Edition and then will move to Standard Edition if they can not get the EA license, so in this case do I have to re - install standard edition network infrastructure?

    Hello

There is no "grid Infrastructure 11gR 3 Enterprise edition and Standard Edition", is the only Infrastructure of grid 11 GR 2.

On the Oracle Clusterware licenses (grid Infrastructure).
At least one of the servers in the cluster is allowed for the Oracle database (SE1, SE or EE)
A cluster is defined to include all machines that share the same Oracle Cluster Registry (OCR) and the drive to vote.
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/license.112/e10594/editions.htm#CJAHFHBJ

    On the licensing database.
    http://www.Oracle.com/us/products/database/Enterprise-Edition/comparisons/index.html

Note: Oracle Real Application Clusters (Oracle RAC), is an option to Oracle Database 11 g Enterprise Edition and included with Oracle Database 11 g Standard Edition (on clusters with a maximum of 4 Sockets).
If you move to EA Oracle, you must purchase a separate license to use the RAC option

    Regarding the Installation:
Nothing changes on your current installation of Grid Infrastructure 11.2
Just install a new fresh install to choose EF of the Oracle (the current clusterware) database during installation. Configure services database from this new HOME of ORACLE. Change anything on the database of all the previous backup and used functionality remains unchanged. With the help of this new House Oracle new features are enabled to be used by your databases.

  • Cannot install the vCenter 4.1 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition 64-bit

I have a brand new installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition 64 bit, but when I try to install vCenter Server 4.1, I get a window with the message following (screenshot attached):

This product can only be installed on operating systems for 64-bit at the following address:

    Windows XP SP2 or higher

    Windows 2003

    Windows 2008

I checked the compatibility matrix before I started and he says vCenter 4.1 is compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2. I checked the community boards and the knowledge base but have not met anyone else having this problem. Am I missing something, perhaps a Windows role or service before installing vCenter necessary?

Is it a controller AD? You can not install vCenter Server on an AD DC.

  • Implementation of a virtual disk that is shared for clustering in Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition

    Hello world

I'm relatively new to Vmware, and I have no knowledge of Linux commands. Here's my problem I have Vmware Workstation 7 installed on my PC, I installed Vmware ESX 4.1 in and use Vsphere client to connect to the ESX Server. I installed 3 Virtual Machines each running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. The first DC1 server I set up like the DC with AD, DNS and DHCP, the other two servers called CLR-SVR-1 and/CLR-SVR-2 I have joined to the domain, but did not make them a domain controller. I want to create a 2 cluster nodes, but when I try the installation I get an error message not Quorum shared disk was found, and a second NETWORK adapter is required (although I have 2 network cards installed on the virtual machine).

I tried to use the vmkfstools to create a floppy disk, but when I turn on the virtual computer, I get an error that I have not used the thick option (I entered this command, vmkfstools thickness - a free - 1 c d G vmfs/volumes/datastore2/CLRDISK/CLR.vmdk, but it didn't work).

Can someone explain please how to do step by step to someone who knows nothing about Linux or vmware CLI commands commands?

PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS TO YOU ALL.

Take a look at http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1004617. This KB links to documentation MSCS he for different versions of ESX. I think the last doc on 4.0 U1 should work for 4.1 as well.

  • Eclipse Helios and Oracle Enterprise edition

    Hello
I'm new to the oracle database, I have installed Oracle 10 g Enterprise Edition in windows XP sp3, I also installed the last JDK (jdk1.6.0_25). When I open (double click) on the eclipse I get a pop window JVM(Version 1.4.2_03 of thr JVM is not suitable for this product.) Incompatible Version 1.5 is required). I use the latest Eclipse Helios. I tried on the previous versions of the eclipse (Ganymede, gelileo), it's the same projection. When I uninstall oracle 10g Enterprise Edition eclipse works fine, after the installation of the oracle, I get this pop up window.
Please suggest me a solution for this.

    Thank you.

"- vm" option in eclipse.ini to specify a JVM for the eclipse to start with. The "-vm" and the path to the JVM must be in separate lines in your eclipse.ini as follows:

    -vm
c:/JRE/bin/javaw.exe (replace this line with your jvm path)

I do not think that the order of installation of the Oracle DB and JDK issues. It is more likely that install the DB Oracle adds that the machine virtual JAVA embedded inside the Oracle DB to the system path. But with the above option, you can specify JVM eclipse should use. For information about how to specify the options in eclipse.ini, refer to this wiki page http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse.ini

    Hope that helps.

  • Can't find a fedora linux enterprise edition for tests to download?

I have fedora 12 running on a test computer and you want to try to run oracle enterprise edition on it. I down loaded the file "Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.1.0) for Linux x 86-64" after file extraction, that I tried to start install and got this message

    "From Oracle Universal Installer...

So it appears you can not use a linux open source with this version. Does anyone know what oracle download works?
