As I mentioned in your other post, you provide enough details for anyone to be useful.

https://community.Oracle.com/thread/3878729

In your other post, tell him that you have also installed 7U79.  I recommend you to uninstall this version before installing.  Generally, it is not necessary, but because you have problems, I recommend it.

Also, I think that there is some problems with 8u65.  Please uninstall and install 8u66

Finally, please try to not create message with themes of duplication.  For now, we'll let this one active, but I recommend that you use your other post to investigate this matter.

    Sandy

    Two things:

    1. you didn't did not read carefully my last update.  I said that you need to install JDK 8 (more precisely 8U51 or newer).  Which suggests that you installed and that he tried to use Java 7 with that statement that you answered:

    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_79\bin>java-jar fmw_12.2.1.0.0_infrastructure.jar

You must UNINSTALL 7U79 (which you cited above) and install the last v8, which is 8U66.

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/Java/javase/downloads/index-JSP-138363.html

    2. you have not share of details necessary to understand what could happen.  For example:

    • On what platform and the version you install?
    • Have you reviewed the matrix of product Certification to ensure that this platform is certified for use?
    • Is your Windows user, a member of the Windows Administrators group?
    • The machine has at least 6 GB of RAM?
    • Is the installer staged locally or are access you it from a network share?
    • Did you review the Setup logs?  If this is not the case, do, as they will probably tell you what is happening.  They are located in:

      C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\logs

I highly recommend that go you through the documentation (Setup Guide, Sys requirements, etc.) before you install or use the product:

    Steps in order:

I installed and configured Oracle weblogic 12 c (12.2.1), forms, and reports 12 c (Professional 64-bit Windows 10, 16 GB RAM, i7 processor platform) and be able to start the server administration Weblogic, wls_forms (wls_reports not yet configured). The only element of start menu, I could see as shown below with the image

    oq1.png

I'm not sure what exactly I missed during installation and configuration (Oracle® Fusion Middleware, installation Oracle Forms and Reports, 12 c (12.2.1), E66264-01) for the installation and configuration. Please help me

    Kind regards

    Did you follow that?

    Steps in order:

    • Ensure that the machine has the static IP address (or the loopback installed and configured adapter for Windows)
    • 8 RAM minimum concert
    • Open a shell (DOS) and set the PATH to include the JDK (8U51 + 64 - bit) first in the list
    • In the shell, run the WLS installation program and follow the instructions: java-jar fmw_12.2.1.0.0_infrastructure.jar
    • Run forms and reports 12.2.1 installer

    • Run the configuration (config) (if on Windows, do not forget the shell has administrator privileges) (C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\oracle_common\common\bin)
    • With a shell with administrator privileges, start Node Manager (startNodeManager) and then start Admin Server (startWebLogic) (C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\user_projects\domains\base_domain\bin)

Once the servers have been launched successfully, the configuration will complete automatically.  This process also ends configurations required by design tools, the server startup if necessary to complete the steps.  They can be stopped if you are simply interested in examining the Builder (s), but obviously will not be able to run anything, if the servers do not work.

I hope that between this overview and documentation, almost everyone should be able to get a good start.

  • I try to install OBIEE 11 g 11.1.1.7.0, but it does not find the Webogic server already installed on the computer.

    Hello

    I have installed:

    -(Oracle Linux) OL 6.6

    -Fmw_12.1.3.0.0_ohs_linux64.bin (SST)

I try to install OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence, c. 11.1.1.7.0), I unzip these files:

    -bi_linux_x86_111170_64_disk1_1of2.zip

    -bi_linux_x86_111170_64_disk1_2of2.zip

    -bi_linux_x86_111170_64_disk3.zip

I try to install OBIEE 11 g 11.1.1.7.0, but it does not find the Webogic server already installed on the computer.

    I run:

    / Home/Oracle/OBIEE/Disk1/RunInstaller

I checked the option "install the software only:

    foto1.png

I select the 'Home Oracle Middleware' directory:

    / Home/Oracle/Oracle/middleware

    foto2.png

On the next screen does not appear that there is a weblogic Server installed on the machine, but it exists and works on:

    / Home/Oracle/Oracle/middleware/Oracle_Home/wlserver

    foto3.png

    What can be?

According to the matrix certification > it seems http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi/bi-11gr1certmatrix-ps6-1928219.xls , OBIEE 11.1.1.7 is not certified with Weblogic 12 c... Take a look at the roadmap "Web and application server interfonctionnements" of the matrix.

If you want to install the software only, then I think you should use a version of certified weblogic as 10.3.6 and repeat prior steps. The installation wizard should be able to detect your installation of weblogic 10.3.6.

Well, you very probably not a lot of space on the left under/Home.

You can move to another location that is located on/home/oracle/orInventory the / partitioning of the partition where you probably have more space left if you used the default value.

For example, as a root user:

    mkdir/U01

    MV/home/oracle/oraInventory/U01

    Update /etc/oraInst.loc and replace

    inventory_loc = / home/oracle/oraInventory

Simply convert your installation of JInitiator/config in a jar of stand alone that will work with any new JRE (I use 1.6, but I think it also works for the 1.7), you just need to run the forms EXEJar and enter the URL of your application forms, the program will do the rest. • Installation of WebLogic 10.3.5 on Windows

    Hello

We are trying to install weblogic 10.3.5 on computer 64-bit windows 7 .

We have downloaded the http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic/downloads/wls-main-097127.html Installer - installer of column (additional platforms (JAVA VM for 64-bit Support, see Note above)) 11 GR 1 material Oracle WebLogic Server (10.3.5) + consistency file - install Package - credits: 1 GB

You download a zip file, which contains no exe file it contains. Der otherwise is to install it on the windows machine?

    Please suggest.

    Thank you

    Hello
To install the server Weblogic for 64-bit is slightly different, whether for Windows or Linux OS operating system.

    1. first of all, you install 64 Bit JDK or Sun JDK or bea JRockit MMTK. They all have two 64-bit jdk.

    2. set the 64-bit jdk above in the PATH of approx. Because by default when you run java-version it can show the default jdk that comes with windows or linux. then all first set the path env variable and make sure to run java-version to show your 64-bit JDK.

    3. download the generic installer which is the 1 GB .jar file. Incase if it is downloaded zip, rename that to .jar. I checked all the time and I see it's the .jar file and need to download like .jar instead of the .zip file.
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E15523_01/doc.1111/e14142/start.htm#BEHCFFFB

    4. you won't see any installer .exe. Use the command below. At some point, it does display and use your 64 bit JDK during installation process.
    Java-d64-jar wlsversion_generic.jar

See below notes from the link above in the previous section:

If you install WebLogic Server on a 64-bit platform using an installer .jar:

Include the - d64 flag in the installation command when the use of a hybrid 32/64-bit JDK (for example, HP - PA, HPIA and Solaris64 platforms. For example, if the installation in graphical mode using the package installer:

    Java-d64-jar wlsversion_generic.jar

Run the java-version command (or java-d64-version control on the platforms using a hybrid 32/64-bit JDK) to ensure that your JAVA_HOME refers to a 64 bit JDK.

    Thank you

  • Access to the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c problem

I try to install and configure Oracle Mapviewer 12 c (v12.1.3).  The installation seemed successful, but after the installation, I am unable to access the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c.  The default is Admin Console URL http://[host]:[port]/mapviewer.  I can reach the URL using a browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE), but the admin home page will not appear.  The browser just "turns its wheels"as it tries to load the page. " The image below is from FirefoxClipboard01.jpg

Looking at the console of the developer of the browser (press F12) while the page loads, you can see browse the page of connection repeatedly (see image below).

    Clipboard03.jpg

My environment consists of the following:

    (1) server OS: Linux (RedHat Enterprise 5.11) x86_64

    (2) oracle Weblogic Server 12 c - distribution "Oracle Fusion Middleware Infrastructure"

According to the documentation, Oracle Mapviewer 12 c requires specific dependencies that will not provide generic install Weblogic Server (i.e. , http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic/overview/index.html,).  Instead, you must use the "Oracle Fusion Middleware Infrastructure" distribution, installation of weblogic server and all the dependencies required.

The distribution of Oracle Fusion Middleware Infrastructure has been downloaded from the Oracle ADF OTN download page or leave cloud of delivery of the Oracle software.

-Oracle ADF OTN download page: http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/ADF/downloads/index.html

    -JAR file fmw_12.1.3.0.0_infrastructure_Disk1_1of1.zip

    (3) oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer Version 12 c (12.1.3)

    -downloaded from http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/MapViewer/downloads/index.html

    -JAR file is fmw_12.1.3.0.0_mapviewer.jar

Following the instructions in the for Oracle Mapviewer 12 c E29624-02 User Guide (http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/core/JIMPV/index.html), first of all, I have installed and configured Weblogic Server 12 c, in Mapviewer 12 c followed.

I made two attempts of different installation:

    (a) I installed Mapviewer using the Universal Installer

    (b) I have manually deployed an EAR MapViewer exploded in WebLogic Server folder

Two attempts produced the same results.

Specifically, after installation and configuration of Mapviewer, I could check the Mapviewer version using the URL:

    http://[host]:[port]/MapViewer/omserver?getv=t

Immediately access this URL resulted in the expected answer text string:

    Ver12.1.3_B140430.1010

I could also successfully access the Weblogic administration Console (http://[host]:[port]/console) and confirm the Weblogic is running, and that Mapviewer was correctly deployment up and running as well.

However, at this point, if I try to access the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c via http://[host]:[port]/MapViewer , the Console launch page does not appear (as described above).

at this point, I wonder why the Oracle demo site works (http://slc02okf.oracle.com) and me does not work.  I assumed that the demonstration site for the Oracle Mapviewer used Mapviewer 12 c.  I based this assumption on the fact of demonstration site for this Orqacle (http://slc02okf.oracle.com/mvdemo/demo/oracle_maps_demo_v2.jsp) displays a header SEO Mapviewer 12 c (see image below).

    Clipboard04.jpg

However, when I questioned the version of Oracle Demo site URL (i.e. ) http://slc02okf.Oracle.com/MapViewer/omserver?getv=t ), I see that they run Mapviewer 11 g!

    Ver11_1_1_7_3_B140717

So, long story short, deployed anyone successfully Mapviewer 12 c and if so, can you access the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c?

    Any contribution is greatly appreciated.

    Wayne

    Hi Wayne,

Please check that Java is used to start the WebLogic Server. If the JDK 8, try starting with JDK 7 to see if the spin connection problem is resolved.

    Thank you.

Here is a screenshot - imgur: the file shared simple image

I also checked that SOA Composite editor is installed from the about page.

    What Miss me.

    3. set the JDEV_USER_DIR environment variable to a local directory. for example JDEV_USER_DIR = D:\JDev12c\user_dir

    4. start using JDev 'jdev.exe - own. "

    Hello Lorenz,

    Please, try the following steps:

    (1) start JDeveloper

    (2) create a new SOA Application

    (3) output JDeveloper

    (4) restart JDeveloper

    (5) open the preferences and the entry for SOA and patterns should be there.

    Concerning

    Gert
