Installation of WebLogic 10.3.5 on Windows

Hello

We are trying to install weblogic 10.3.5 on computer 64-bit windows 7 .

We have downloaded the http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic/downloads/wls-main-097127.html Installer - installer of column (additional platforms (JAVA VM for 64-bit Support, see Note above)) 11 GR 1 material Oracle WebLogic Server (10.3.5) + consistency file - install Package - credits: 1 GB

You download a zip file, which contains no exe file it contains. Der otherwise is to install it on the windows machine?

Please suggest.

Thank you

Hello
To install the server Weblogic for 64-bit is slightly different, whether for Windows or Linux OS operating system.

1. first of all, you install 64 Bit JDK or Sun JDK or bea JRockit MMTK. They all have two 64-bit jdk.

2. set the 64-bit jdk above in the PATH of approx. Because by default when you run java-version it can show the default jdk that comes with windows or linux. then all first set the path env variable and make sure to run java-version to show your 64-bit JDK.

3. download the generic installer which is the 1 GB .jar file. Incase if it is downloaded zip, rename that to .jar. I checked all the time and I see it's the .jar file and need to download like .jar instead of the .zip file.
http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E15523_01/doc.1111/e14142/start.htm#BEHCFFFB

4. you won't see any installer .exe. Use the command below. At some point, it does display and use your 64 bit JDK during installation process.
Java-d64-jar wlsversion_generic.jar

See below notes from the link above in the previous section:

If you install WebLogic Server on a 64-bit platform using an installer .jar:

Include the - d64 flag in the installation command when the use of a hybrid 32/64-bit JDK (for example, HP - PA, HPIA and Solaris64 platforms. For example, if the installation in graphical mode using the package installer:

Java-d64-jar wlsversion_generic.jar

Run the java-version command (or java-d64-version control on the platforms using a hybrid 32/64-bit JDK) to ensure that your JAVA_HOME refers to a 64 bit JDK.

    Hello

Problem is with the classpath settings. Try calling setDomainEnv.cmd before installsvc.cmd.

Another way is to start adminserver via command line (using startWeblogic.cmd), and then copy all classpath entries in atext file >.

Then during the installation of the service try to use the file using classpath-@> attribute.

  • ScanJet software installs in German rather than English - a Windows 7 problem

I am trying to install HP Scanjet full feature and Driver for Windows 7 (32 bit) for my ScanJet G4010.

On the software download page I choose English (American) and then downloaded setup_full_G4010_14 - 5.exe.

My Windows 7 is in English.  EN is shown it is stated in the taskbar.  And to be sure, I went to the United States as my current location.  However setup_full_G4010_14 - 5.exe launched in German.  It offered no language option during installation.  The clean install HP G4010-is in German and offers no language option.

How can this be?  Well, I'm in Germany.  I don't see how the installer or the installed software could not understand that I am in Germany, but the HP site could.  Has made the website to slip me a German version of setup_full_G4010_14 - 5.exe despite my choice of a version to English?

A small experiment proved that my system Windows 7, not the site of HP, is the source of trouble.  I ran the downloaded file setup_full_G4010_14 - 5.exe even on a Windows XP system and the installation program launched in English.  The Windows 7 software and then installed on the Windows XP system, in English.

This shows that the setup_full_G4010_14 - 5.exe is multilingual, and my problem is that it incorrectly detects my Windows 7 as German.  The software installed is not multilingual.  I checked this glancing in an installed help file .xml in the Windows 7 install.  It's in German.

How can I get setup_full_G4010_14 - 5.exe HP to think that my Windows 7 is in English?

    Hello

Open the Control Panel, then go to the language and region.

On the Format tab, make sure that your PC is set to English.

Then, open the administration tab and verify that the local system is set up in English and not German.

Now restart your PC, open the HP software and check any change.

  • Failed to initialize the installation program. Error 110. On Windows XP.

Whenever I try to install LV6.1 or LV6.1 DSC Run-Time system, on my Windows XP machine, I always get the following error message:

Failed to initialize the installation program. Error 110.

I think it has something to do with the MSI or "Windows Installer". I tried to uninstall all of THE products of National Instruments, but it did not help. Any ideas?

Hello. Thank you. I tried, but in fact, it did not help. However, after doing a little research on our, I found a solution by following these steps:

    1. reboot Windows XP in Safe Mode
    2. double-click on the Setup program to start the installation process
3 cancel the installation process after it starts
    4. restart windows in normal mode

Now, all my applications of MSI with setup.exe work correctly! Quite strange. Just for the record: this problem was not due to a Virus protection program (as all assumed first that many people) and it kept me from running applications (MSI?) of ANY installer from a CD.

  • Installation of WebLogic with IBM JDK

    Hello

We plan to install Oracle Fusion Middleware components 11 GR 1 material (+ 11.1.1.6) on IBM AIX 64-bit power servers. When I checked the IBM JDK 7 SR3 + IV33133 matrix of certification is the Certified version of the JDK for installation of weblogic.

Please help me on how to exactly get/download the IBM JDK 7 SR3 + IV33133? I checked the IBM JDK download page and not getting exactly how can we SR3 + IV33133?

    Best regards

    Amandine

    Hi Prakash,

I guess the sign '+' in the IBM JDK 7 SR3 + IV33133 is a little tricky. I doubt that it is has added IBM JDK 7 SR3 with IV33133.

I spent some time on this installation of JDK and come to know that the 3rd third-party products that are certified to operate only on specific versions of IBM's Java for AIX can be downloaded from IBM Java ISV download page.

Here are the steps I followed to download the IBM JDK 7 SR3 + IV33133

    1. go to the IBM Java to download site software at the following ADDRESS:

    https://www14.software.IBM.com/webapp/IWM/Web/preLogin.do?lang=en_US&source=SWG-ibmjavaisv

    2. open a session using your IBM ID and password.

    3. enter MJ3D7TQGMK access key partner in IBM's Java for software page

    4. click on submit

    5. on the IBM SDK interim fixed (iFix) to the Oracle page, you will see the below JDK versions that are adapted exactly than that provided in the matrix of certification.

    • pap6470sr3ifx-20121213_01 (SR3 + IV33133)
      Java7_64.0.0.61.tar.gz (115 MB)
    • pap6470sr3ifx-20121213_01 (SR3 + IV33133)
      pap6470sr3ifx-20121213_01 - sdk.tar.Z (184 MB)

    6. install the JDK

Please can you confirm that this procedure is correct?

    Best regards

  • How can I specify the installation directory for the packages installed on Windows clients?

This article (Creative Cloud help |) Create or modify packages) mentions that you must specify the installation location on the command line in Windows for CC packages:

    Installation location

The Application Manager offers you the following options for the deployment location:

      • Deploy to the default directory of the application: The default player is system unit; the default path is \Program Files in Windows/applications under Mac OS.
      • Directory to specify when the deployment: Allows users to end to specify the installation path when the package is deployed. On Mac OS, users are invited on the user interface, while on Windows, it's a command-line only option.
      • Specify directory: enter the path to the location to a specific installation location

I have chosen "Specify the directory for the deployment" when I built the package.  I also added parameters for deployeur batch of Exceptions (Creative Cloud help |) Using Adobe deployeur Exceptions) indicating the installation location for the exceptions.

How to access the command line options during install?

    • I tried setup.exe /?, and setup.exe -?, and the installation continues straight on the pilot of c: (small SSD drive; need to install on the 1 TB SATA drive on the HP workstation).
    • I looked for the MSI command line options, and there is not to change the installation location.

There is a post somewhere that explains it?  I had no luck with my research in the forums on the web.

When the "Specify the deployment directory" configuration is selected then you may need to use a deployment tool to deploy this package and need to call for the installation .msi.

I hope that under Microsoft section can help. It has all the command line to install msi.
