  Via my firefox v39, I try to save the 'flashplayer18_ha_install.exe' of the ADOBE Web site, but when I open and launch the installation, a stupid of unknown origin script stops the installation almost instantly and even this installer disappears from its original place in the download folder. I tried to close any possible program which could if necessary. Stop the installation and remove all the add-on that could possibly harm, but I can't stop the bitdefender antivirus program, which is the last thing I could think to stop installation. When I run the installer instantly appears this script and no matter if I want to keep it or stop it (by clicking on Yes or no), the program is interrupted and the installer disappears. Anyone who knows a similar stupidity of Adobe programs (in fact I hate this flash drive but it doesn't seem to be an alternative?), thanks for a reply.

  

  Hi mauerassel,

  If the DPI setting is not set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% the script error will appear.  If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and the installer should work.  We are working on a fix for this.

  To check/change the DPI setting:

  1. Start the control panel and go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
  2. In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
  3. In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
  4. Click OK
  5. Select apply
  6. Open a session/disable
  7. Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

  I tried to download the trial version to start the program installation and my copy of disk, but Installer is not both, I have just upgraded to a new macbook pro running el capitan, I can run the installation program on the earlier on my old computer operating system so I guess that it is a problem of software for adobe/apple support solve? is this likely with cs6 being old enough now?

  I ended up resloving cela by installing Java (via a link on the site of apple - think it was Java 6) and then restarting. I had read other than El capitan mess Java settings... Seems to be ok, now, at least!

  I am trying to install the first elements 14 on a Win10 system. When I try to install the popup "initialization Installer" through the process... then just ends. There is no error message or anything like that either... just stops.

  I tried a lot of ideas on the forum:

  1. place modifications to files in the root...

  2. don't run under Win 7 and 8 compatible... no change

  3 uninstalled Acrobat XI Pro... no change

  4 run cleaner for entries creative cloud (although I have no CC product)... no change

  5. I even uninstalled 10 items (which I liked) then tried 14... no change. But an additional complication, I couldn't reinstall 10, it failed on the shared technologies.

  I'm puzzled. Any ideas? I spent way too much time on it.

• "Installer initialization failed." I have tried everything what it but no dice.

  So I had to remove a previous installation of applications Adobe CC; When I tried to reinstall the applications I always get the message "failed to initialize Installation.".

  Any method I try or the tools I use, I still have no luck.

  Currently, I'm under OS X El Capitan 10.11.2, got 8GBs of RAM, nVidia GPU m850 and an i7 CPU, it is not a requirements issue. So far, I've tried (with all this, I get the same message):

  • Use the application to download and install creative cloud

  Please try following steps

  (1) run the creative cloud cleaning tool to remove creative cloud app

  (2) remove the application library adobe application manager / utilities.

  (3) install Adobe application manager using link Adobe - Adobe Application Manager: for Macintosh: Adobe Application Manager

  (4) launch Adobe application manager and it should update itself to creative cloud desktop application
