installations of flash player Adobe stopped unknown script

Via my firefox v39, I try to save the 'flashplayer18_ha_install.exe' of the ADOBE Web site, but when I open and launch the installation, a stupid of unknown origin script stops the installation almost instantly and even this installer disappears from its original place in the download folder. I tried to close any possible program which could if necessary. Stop the installation and remove all the add-on that could possibly harm, but I can't stop the bitdefender antivirus program, which is the last thing I could think to stop installation. When I run the installer instantly appears this script and no matter if I want to keep it or stop it (by clicking on Yes or no), the program is interrupted and the installer disappears. Anyone who knows a similar stupidity of Adobe programs (in fact I hate this flash drive but it doesn't seem to be an alternative?), thanks for a reply.

a script stopping adobe flash player install.jpg

Hi mauerassel,

If the DPI setting is not set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% the script error will appear.  If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and the installer should work.  We are working on a fix for this.

To check/change the DPI setting:

  1. Start the control panel and go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
  2. In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
  3. In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
  4. Click OK
  5. Select apply
  6. Open a session/disable
  7. Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

Thank you

Eswar.

  • Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially dangerous operation URLloader, URLrequest

    Hi all

    , I'm working on a flash site that loads direct inventory publish data from a csv file public google docs.  the csv file is located in a public address on the server of google docs: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US & hl = en_US & key = 0AlJnOKOffTSxdG5aU0RLLVFvc3B xblVXQlMtcnlFZVE & single = true & gid = 3 & output = csv

    I use a URLloader and URLrequest in my flash movie to retrieve these data and assign it to different variables.

    It works fine when I preview the movie in flash.

    However, when I publish the movie and preview the loading html file in dreamweaver, I get a warning from security of the adobe flash player: Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially dangerous operation

    I advanced and published the html file that contains the SWF for the web, and when I go on my site, I get even the reader flash, warning; It is just there like its trying to load the URLrequest and never complete.

    I understand that flash player has a security policy that prevents access to files outside of the directory on the server that the swf file is published to flash files.  I know that you can create strategy xml files to say flash, it's normal load data, but the policy files must be located on the public server where the data is be caught.   But it's not like I can waltz on google's servers a stick a policy in this file!

    Is there a way to tell the flash player that is correct load these data without getting that error of security?  I can't get the user to have to go in the settings of the flash and adding the location manually.  I just need to work without the security warning.

    Is there another method of loading data from an external server without tripping security flash player? aka, something other than URLloader and URLrequest?

    Here is the actionscript code that I use:

    loadInventory ("Text","https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US & hl = en_US & key = 0AlJnOKOffTSxdG5aU0RLLVFvc3B xblVXQlMtcnlFZVE & single = true & gid = 3 & output = csv" ");

    function loadInventory(product:String,_address:String):void {}

    var loaderData:String = new String();

    var loader: URLLoader = new URLLoader();

    loader.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, completeHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (Event.OPEN, openHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, progressHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (SecurityErrorEvent.SECURITY_ERROR, securityErrorHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (HTTPStatusEvent.HTTP_STATUS, httpStatusHandler);

    loader.addEventListener (IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, ioErrorHandler);

    var request: URLRequest = new URLRequest (address);

    try {}

    Loader.Load (request);

    } catch (error: Error) {}

    trace ("unable to load requested document.");

    }

    }

    function completeHandler(event:Event):void {}

    var loader: URLLoader = URLLoader (event.target);

    importedData = loader.data;

    gotoAndStop (currentFrame + 1);

    }

    function openHandler(event:Event):void {}

    trace ("openHandler:" + event);

    }

    function progressHandler(event:ProgressEvent):void {}

    trace ("progressHandler loaded:" + event.bytesLoaded + "total:" + event.bytesTotal);

    }

    function securityErrorHandler(event:SecurityErrorEvent):void {}

    trace ("securityErrorHandler:" + event);

    }

    function httpStatusHandler(event:HTTPStatusEvent):void {}

    trace ("httpStatusHandler:" + event);

    }

    function ioErrorHandler(event:IOErrorEvent):void {}

    trace ("ioErrorHandler:" + event);

    }

    I would appreciate help with this.  Thanks in advance!

    use a local file (in your swf) to loading data cross-domain and access the local file with your swf file.

  • Registry during the installation of Flash Player problems

    Hi, first, sorry for the spelling errors, I'm Argentinian . I write here because I have tried MANY ways and solutions to install Flash Player for IE, here a few facts:

    I mainly use Google Chrome, which has the PC already installed, but I have a problem with the ActiveX control, I can install Flash player 11 for windows but not ActiveX... I read that it is a tool for IE, so I thought that I wouldn't be needing, but when I tried to run a program (game Ranger) he said I had need of ActiveX control and that I had not in my computer... So I started to search for solutions, etc etc, and ultimately abandon it because I just couldn't do it, but right now I did it again because I want to know if it's something important to have...

    The problem during the installation is the following: it starts to download the Flash Player... then install it and when it is at 51%, it stops and a message appears saying: registry error. It's what happens when I try to install ActiveX, not Flash Player itself, because as I said above I can install...

    All I want to know is if he remains the path to allow the installation of Flash Player change the values of registry... because I think that's the main problem... I think so. Thank you for reading.

    Edit: I forgot to say my system information.

    OS: Windows 7 32-bit

    FINALLY FOUND THE SOLUTION!

    That's where I found it > http://forums.adobe.com/message/4086663#4086663

    Finally, after 6 months, I installed ActiveX, thanks to this person than the fixed

    in any case, I am grateful to you guys, I've been impressed with the speed that you have answered my question, thank you very much.

  • Zscaler and installation of Flash Player online

    Our users are using zscaler for web filtering and when it runs the online Flash Player installation fails to initialize even if we remove all the blocks.  The installation of Flash Player online works very well that if we turn off zscaler to do, but it's a long process whenever flashplayer has a new version.  I can get around the zscaler filter using the programming CAP file if I could get a list of all URLS, IP addresses or server addresses that must be circumvented to get online Setup runs correctly.  Where can I find such a list?  Thanks in advance.

    Unfortunately, the Runtime Flash team does not maintain the distribution infrastructure (there is a separate distribution organization him reconditions our binary distribution and managed hosting).  In end, a big part of it is to detach the Akamai CDN, so there is no guarantee that IPs are going to be coherent, or that host names would remain static over time.

    If you administer a corporate environment, there are better options for the distribution and update management that would bypass all this complexity.

  • Download, installation of Flash Player in IE 11 and 10 Windows

    Change the Message "Hello, I understand that Flash Player is included in Windows for Edge 10. Whenever I try to download Flash Player for IE 11 I get the message that Flash Player is included in Windows 10. So I am not allowed to download. ' in the installation of Flash Player

    Flash Player is a component integrated IE and Edge on Win10.  There is nothing separate to download or install.  It is much more likely that you are viewing the HTML/Javascript content that does not work as expected when running in the context of EI and edge (i.e. doesn't JavaScript that uses the content provider to detect that Flash is installed directly in IE11).

    First of all, check that the ActiveX filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/867968

    Internet Explorer 11 and edge have a number of changes both in the way the browser is identified with remote web servers, and how it treats JavaScript for behavior targets specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the provider of content changes their site to conform to the new approach to development required by the modern versions of IE.

    You can try to work around these problems by using the compatibility view:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Internet-Explorer/use-compatibility-view#IE=ie-11

    If it's too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a better alternative.

    Help

    The help pages outlines common troubleshooting steps for the installation of Flash Player. For those who are unable to install by using the online installation programs (which I believe are used in the screenshots above) we also provide 'stand alone' versions of our installers to the bottom of the page. I suspect that these versions of stand alone will help if the troubleshooting steps are not.
